Turns out the tires on the car were a bit old... but in fine condition (minus the leak). I went to the other chain (Townfair) down the road first but they were most unhelpful. At first they wouldn't repair the leak because the tire was too old in their opinion and also could only find 1 replacement tire because the car needed a rare size. Looking for another option I called Sullivan Tire from their parking lot and they immediately began searching for solutions-- they started looking into using a slightly different size tire and if that would work. They were still trying to do this while I drove over and walked in the door. Long story short- Matt figured out we could indeed use a more common size tire than I had originally had and got them installed later in the day. He was also very open and didn't push me into a more expensive tire like some places do. I was able to depart on my cross country road trip on time. Thank you so much Sullivan Tire (and Matt). Brought it in Saturday, and was told that because of the location, it couldn't be patched and I would need a new tire. unfortunately, they did not have one in stock that would fit my car so Tom called off cape and was able to locate a tire and get it over to Wareham, which he went and picked up the same day. I assured him that I was not in any rush, recognizing that they were busy and it was the holiday weekend, but he was just as adamant that they would get it done for me today if they could. Within six hours of me going in with my flat tire, I had a new tire mounted and put back on my car. I am a customer for life. Thank you, Tom and team!

My longtime mechanic had retired, and I wasn't sure where to go next until I discovered D&G Auto Repair on Yelp! In August 2025, I brought my car in for brake service (pads and rotors replacement). From the very beginning, I felt I was in good hands. Paulo, the manager, responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything in a clear, respectful way, something I truly appreciate. I felt a strong sense of trust that he genuinely cared about my car and my safety. When I arrived at the shop, Paulo was just as professional and kind in person. He made me feel confident in my choice to use to D&G Auto Repair. After I left my car, he followed up via text with an estimated bill before starting any work, which gave me peace of mind and control over the process. The shop itself is small but clearly run by expert technicians, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable, a nice bonus! I returned yesterday with a question about a noise I'd heard. Tony, one of the technicians, came out and personally walked around my car with me. He pointed out how clean it looked and even asked about repairs I had done elsewhere. He gave me a mini lesson on body repair which was surprisingly enlightening. He then gave me directions to the nearest Auto Parts store and Car Wash. That kind of extra care is rare and so appreciated.
