I didn't give my name but a phone arrival I spent 10 minutes inside the dealership looking at one vehicle and no one came out to greet me and asked me if I wanted to know more information about it. A tow truck from mastria towing pulled up with a vehicle on the back to drop it off as he sat in his flatbed no one came out to greet him as well. I got frustrated and decided to leave without going inside asking anybody any questions about the vehicle as I was not greeted in the proper way dealerships should always greet people as they pull up on their lot. I already had an issue with dealing with mom and pops dealerships because of a bad experience but decided I was going to give this one a particular chance. GLAD I DIDN'T. After looking at the reviews for this dealership I'm pretty sure I definitely will not return to the dealership for this vehicle as I was very interested in it. It's either the technician can't read the work order properly or the customer service person can't write up a simple order correctly. Twice it was corrected to the proper oil (that I've specified for 14 years in a row!). RUN. I went to test drive a vehicle and when I get there, the owner met me. This was the same…read moremake and model vehicle that I have test driven and owned in the past, but this one was by far in the worst shape. The door handle in the back was broken, the NAV system had a theft lock on it, the leather was rough, and the speakers had chunks of the cover missing. It looked like two men had fought on the inside. But the craziest part is, when he told me to put it in drive to move the car up, THE CAR DID NOT DRIVE IN "D." He kept telling me to drive forward. He then said "oh yeah you have to put it in third gear to drive." WHAT? He said it needed a shifter cable. Whatever. He made one of his employees go on the test drive with me which was weird. The white family that came after me was able to take the car by themselves, but another employee said he knew them. Again, whatever. When I get on the test drive, the employee said he did not have time to let me drive on the highway. At this point, I feel like I am being joked with. I disregarded him and went on the highway, where I discovered suspension issues. When I went to negotiate a price, the owner raised his voice. I had to put him in his place by saying his cars don't even drive when in "Drive"." I put a deposit down and said I would take it to a mechanic before purchasing. When I did, it was a disaster. The vehicle would not have passed inspection. Brake light was out, holes in BOTH mufflers, massive oil leak, motor mount missing, sway bars rubbing, and dozens of codes that were erased were recovered on the mechanic's OBD system. When I brought it back to him and asked for my money back, he tried to pretend to give me my refund. I watched him get to the "Complete Refund?" screen but he did not press "YES." He stuttered and said "ok refund complete." I almost lost it. I made him press the button and recorded it. From start to finish, this was a complete mess. The owner is a stereotypical cheapskate used car salesman. He buys beat-up vehicles from the auction, does not choose to have them looked at, and then has his "brother in law" in Woburn make less-than-minimal repairs with junkyard parts. That's cool if you are selling dirt cheap, but he is marking up the vehicles THAT WON'T PASS INSPECTION ABOVE Kelly Blue Book and Cargurus IMV values. He wears Walmart brand sneakers, pretends to refund you, and tries to block you from taking the car to the mechanic or on the highway. After I told him the vehicle would not pass inspection, he raised the price online $1,000. Let my photos do the talking and STAY AWAY.

This is going to be long, but I would like to explain the circumstances and my review in full…read more I arrived at Robertsons Monday January 12, 2026 to order a passenger seat for my Honda HRV. I was told that it should be the next day. The following day, I called before driving 45 minutes to Wareham, to make sure the seat was there, which it was. I'm not sure why nobody ever called to inform me that it was ready. Upon arrival, they had the wrong seat, it was supposed to be cloth and the one they had appeared to be leather or "pleather". I politely asked "Is this considered cloth?" The man working, had an attitude and simply replied "You can go inside and complain in there". I went inside and immediately they attempted to rectify the situation, and I was told they had reordered the correct seat and now it will arrive in 2-3 days. I called again, two days later and was greeted on the phone with confusion, placed on hold and then sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail, and nobody ever called back. I called back again on Thursday and this time, I was told "the part was never reordered, but now should be here Monday (1/19). Monday came and went and I never heard from anyone at Roberstons once again, to tell me that my part had arrived. Tuesday morning, I called and asked to speak to a manager, he immediately said he was taking care of it and the part should now arrive in 1-2 days again. The afternoon Thursday comes, and still have not received any phone calls from Robertson's, so I once again call and find, after some confusion, that my part is there and ready to be picked up. It was ready since the day before, no notification!!!! So ultimately I am just relieved that they finally have my part, because I need it to pass inspection this month in my car. I notice that the receipt they gave me, does not match the amount of money that my card was charged. I was charged an extra $9.08. When I asked, I was informed that that was the credit card processing fee, which I do understand, but it is not posted that you will be charged extra for the processing fee. In fact, I had cash in my hand when I went to pay and the guy shoved the card reader towards me, so I just ran my card instead of using my cash. The "cashier" proceeds to tell me that there is a sign, and there is a very small sign on the left lower corner of the window that says "save if you pay cash" nowhere does it say that you will be charged if you use a credit card. I told them that, they should probably move the sign to a place where people can see it and make it more clear. A good place to put it would be on or right next to the card reader, and she proceeded to tell me that usually people "hang out for 5-10 minutes next to the sign". The manager even came over and said that they usually tell people about the transaction fee, but sometimes they "forget". This is by far the most shameless and shotty customer service I have experienced in a long time. SEEMS PRETTY SCAMMY TO ME!! And to top all of that off, not one person offered an apology or any solutions, except for the one manager I talked to that finally got my part.
