Staff is friendly and helpful and easy to access. We did the River tour. It takes about an hour. Very informative ! The picture package they take in the beginning is $30.

A group of eight of us joined the Captain's Dinner Dance Cruise on a July Saturday evening, and we had a great time! Once we boarded, they offered a glass of sparkling wine as a welcome cocktail. Very nice touch! They seated us at a table long enough for all eight. The buffet was ready at boarding, and it was plentiful and fresh. The buffet menu that night included starter salad fixings, dinner rolls and butter, steamed carrots, steamed mixed vegetables, gnocchi in red sauce, mashed potatoes, chicken breasts in a light cream sauce, beef, and assorted cheesecake and eclair desserts. Coffee and tea also were included. If you wanted an alcoholic beverage, they had a bar with wines and assorted liquors. Once dinner was over, the kind staff took away our dirty dishes and moved away the buffet to open up the dance floor. The DJ played a good mix of tunes, including a few line dances that got people out of their seats to dance. During the cruise, the crew provided information about the three rivers and the various sights. It was very interesting. Guests could view the river and skyline from inside. After dinner, they got a better view at tables and seats on the top deck or standing on the lower decks. It is was such a lovely evening! I highly recommend this cruise as a fun-filled night out. Parking is located not too far from the dock. It was a $10 flat rate on that Saturday evening.

Fun boat tour around the city of Pittsburgh outer limits that takes you underneath several bridges as well as with a good look at some of the historical buildings and the stadiums for the Pirates and Steelers. The tour guide did a great job narrating about various points of interest and the historical contexts, while certainly not sugarcoating anything. The boat itself was nothing special, with an interior decor that takes you back to circa 1993, but they do offer dinner/party cruises with buffet and bar drinks as well. Price was a tad expensive but still a solid experience for a tourist.

Drink menu ( before boarding,; didn't get anything from on board concessions)

Fantastic time! Sat on the top level and had a very interesting tour narrated by Sam, who did a fantastic job. Learned a lot about Pittsburgh ( second time here).and even took notes. 60 minute tour but wish it was longer. $30 per person. Great drinks too.

What a great way to explore the City of Bridges but with a boat tour! We booked our tickets online, parked in the lot, and before we knew it were cruising on the 3 rivers enjoying breathtaking views of Pittsburgh! The tour guide shared lots of information and helped us learn about the city, its buildings, bridges, and history.

Valentine's Day dinner on the gateway clipper was fantastic! Beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes and green beans with garden side salad was served buffet style. The strawberry cheese cake for desert was excellent! Terrific DJ, kept the party going. This might be a new Valentine's Day tradition.

Without reservations we traveled here from Wheeling WV on a Sunday for a tour, arriving at 10:30 am on Father's Day and were able to secure a spot for the 11 am tour. The tour lasted about an hour and was very informative. We went down all three rivers, learning about the various bridges, points of interest, and history of Pittsburgh along the way. The boat had two interior decks, a bathroom, and a bar area, as well as 3rd level exterior seating which we choose (and was the most popular even in 90 degree weather). I would suggest if this is where you want to sit to get there early and make sure you are one of the first to board. Be sure to bring sunscreen, you'll need it, and seasonally appropriate clothing. The parking lot cost $8 for 12 hours, so it only makes sense to visit the limited amount of restaurants nearby. It's a nice way to relax and enjoy the city views.

This is a fun and informative way to tour downtown Pittsburgh via the water. We enjoyed the views and history lesson of how the bridges and buildings came to be. This was very relaxing and enjoyable. Parking is available nearby but know it's a flat rate of $15.00.

My favorite view from the tour.

Visited Pittsburgh at the end of October and knew i had to take a cruise. I took the PRT over from downtown and enjoyed the walk along the water. I opted for a mid-day cruise and bought my ticket in-person. They give physical tickets, which I liked because it's definitely being added to my scrapbook. The weather was nice, thankfully no rain. The views, 10/10. I really loved all the information that was shared over the speaker, explaining the different areas. Definitely a highlight of my amazing trip.

Nothing screams Pittsburgh charm like a Gateway Clipper ride to a Steelers game! A perfect option for attending events on the North Shore. Event parking at Station Square is $10, then a round trip ticket to the North Shore is $15 per person. The drop off/pick up for Steelers games is conveniently located right outside of gate A. So much more relaxing of a commute than sitting in traffic on the North Shore!

Great way to hear about the history/landmarks of Pittsburgh from the three rivers. The gentleman tour guide really has a lot to remember and did a great job!!

We really appreciated the opportunity to see Pittsburgh from this vantage point. Being on the three rivers and hearing a bit about the history was really interesting. We got there too late to get a seat outside but we really enjoyed sitting at a table by the window! The narrator was very informative and even though it was a canned presentation, he made it seem pretty natural. Probably not something I would do again but would be good for visitors.

Haunted cruise.

Doesn't take cash, only takes card. Ruined my entire night. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Great experience - our donors enjoyed the cruise so much, and it was a highlight of our Annual Conference in Pittsburgh!

We booked an event for March (weather is hit or miss in Pittsburgh), but the climate control inside was great.

Surprisingly, Pittsburgh is an interesting place to boat with the bridges & downtown views. Unfortunately for our nations' cities, there were many people living in tents under the bridges. This is what being liberal does to US cities. Shameful. But thanks for the outing experience FBC

Freedom boat club has made my husband fall in love with the city of Pittsburgh (he's not a native)…read moreand boating! We joined last year shortly after the franchise opened and have never looked back. Just show up, take the boat out and have fun. Then bring it back and you're done, the dock masters do the rest! No cleaning, storage, or maintenance!! Prior to joining FBC, neither my husband nor I had operated a boat before. The dock masters host trainings and go out with you on the water to ensure your safety and that you feel comfortable learning the ins and outs of boating. Want more practice? They're willing to come out with you and work with you any day. The owner Michael and his staff have been wonderful, even putting together social events for members in the off season which have been a lot of fun! One of the best perks of FBC is having access to over 100 reciprocal locations (the Florida clubs are great during the Pittsburgh winters!!). We can't wait for boating season 2020.
