Gateway is a very cool movie experience. The staff seems genuinely glad to be there and the variety of films they show is unlike any other movie theatre in Columbus. I was surprised by how busy the theatre was on a weekday night. They have both a bar and a lounge/cafe, but only the bar was open during our visit. The seats are not the newer reclining kind, but the audio quality in the theatre was really good. Parking is available in the south campus gateway garage and the theatre validates for $2 parking.

As a theater fan, I absolutely love Gateway! Located eight between the university and the Short North, it's a cozy, clean location with decent concessions and a bar. I highly recommend catching their Tuesday $5 special with free popcorn! Parking in the lot next door can be validated inside.

What a cozy theater. This was my first time being here and I loved it. I love the fact that they have classic films that play here. If you ever go to see a movie, bring your ticket from the garage because they validate it. I will for sure be back to see many more movies. The sound was decent and the chairs were older, but still cozy.

Tonight we went to see a preview of the new movie coming out called "Blinded by the Night ". We all really enjoyed the story line and the lyrics from Bruce Springston music. Parking cost $2 if you park in the Gateway Garage and have your garage ticket stamped at the counter inside the theater. I don't think the chairs in the theater are very comfy because they don't recline and there's not a lot of leg room.

In the past I've avoided Gateway Film Center due to the lack of parking. However, thanks to the large abundance of scooters darting around Columbus, that stressor is long behind me and I'm happy to say I'll be visiting way more often. I recently came to see Aladdin and I was impressed with the experience from start to finish. It was easy to pull up the shows and times online and purchase tickets. Those tickets were then emailed to me and when I arrived at GFC all I did was walk up to the ticket office and show them my purchase. They then printed out real tickets for me to show the attendant. This is probably the only part that I found unnecessary. Go green! Can't I just show the attendant my email instead of wasting paper? Anyhoo... The theater my show was in was clean, the seats were comfy, and it was easy to get to the restroom. Thanks to the White Claws my friend and I enjoyed during the movie, we both went at least once. The sound and lighting throughout the entire show was also spot on. I never once heard a neighboring theater's sound, which is really important to me. I hate hearing other movies going on, it definitely impacts the experience. I also need to shout out the staff here. I grabbed drinks and popcorn before the movie and the gentleman handling my popcorn was an absolute pro! Popcorn - butter - popcorn - butter. His care in making it just right made my night. I love that GFC is locally owned and surrounded my all sorts of fun things to do. It's easy to make a night out of seeing a movie, grabbing dinner nearby, and enjoying live music outside on the weekends. I will be back!

This theatre is right by OSU campus so a lot of college students go there obviously. You would think it would be chaotic, messy or loud but it wasn't at all. There's street parking on High Street by the meter if you're lucky to get one & a garage in the back. You only have to pay $2 to park in the garage as long as you show your ticket at the counter. What I also found fascinating is the fact that this place had the benefits of being an independent house theatre as well as a large chain theatre. You really can't get that anywhere. The chairs were pretty comfortable inside & they seem to have a lot of specials for food & drinks which is always great. Today I watched the Last Black Man of San Francisco & it was one the most beautifully made movies that I've ever seen. I highly recommend everyone to watch it & also visit this theatre!

The flight of ciders was a treat and we enjoyed trying 4 different ones and comparing which we liked best! (Lemon ginger was a BIG hit!) The staff were all friendly and helped narrow down our choices. There's a separate part of the property where they hold weddings and events, which would be beautiful! From the patios, to the right amount of gravel on the road, to their gorgeous, landscaped pond and event center and OH! can we mention how they incorporated a 100+ old oak to serve as an altar in their woodland sanctuary. Perfection!!! There is a large guest cabin that can be rented, plus seven other ones and a handful of geodomes. Each cabin has a private hot tub and fire pit. The geodomes just have a fire pit. At the front of the property is a large barn that has been converted to a tasting room. They have several house made craft wines and ciders. You can take those out to enjoy on one of three nice sized patios... one has hanging swings! They serve charcuterie, boards, and flatbreads... I'm on the weekends. They have food trucks. They also have yoga on the weekends that you can do in their vineyard -pretty cool along with other events This is a great addition to the Columbus area and Marysville. I think it's gonna be very successful. Definitely worth the trip to visit.

When it got darker later in the evening, it was a decent view. I did like the fire place which is right in front of where our table was located. The server informed us of the items that were about to get 86'd which was the prime rib so I had to put my order in immediately. The table got a variety of things from a salmon dinner to a burger. The best looking item was the lobster mac and cheese. There was a whole lobster tail in there! My prime rib was okay. The au jus was mid and didn't add much to the meat. The carrots and mashed potatoes were great. The caviar seafood dip with chips were very bland. I didn't taste anything but the crème fraiche. My friend ordered the Buckeye Pie for dessert which he loved. Said it was a 5 star dessert. The timing of the food was off as people were halfway through their mains when others came out. I waited until everyone got their food leaving my prime rib cold. Got a tequila cocktail which was served in an interesting mug. Kind of made it hard to drink from. All and all, the restaurant was okay but not my first choice for a group dinner.

I asked if gratuity was included, and he confirmed it was added into all of the pricing. So, it was a really great option! I haven't reviewed places I haven't experienced, but we looked at quite a few venues, and I was really impressed by the quality of food and drinks, how beautiful the space was, and the price. It was the best venue option, in my opinion. So, I wanted to share! The only reason we didn't book Graystone is because one of my colleagues got too nervous about the little lead time we had & wanted something with live bar music for the younger folk, so he booked a grungy bar. The younger team wanted to karaoke (he didn't), and he knew that no one could karaoke if there was already live music & a venue available to the public, so here we are. Ha!
