Came here to buy a torch to sear salmon, since I couldn't find one anywhere else lol. And I didn't expect to find such a large selection of torches here! Although the surrounding area isn't the greatest, you can just park right in front of the store if you want to avoid it. The customer service here is amazing as well. Ali was so friendly, nice, and helpful!! I'll definitely be back for some other things - they have a lot of pieces, pipes, vapes, hookah sets, whip its, and so much more. I went here for the first time about six months ago, when Better Cloud moved from Albany to Pinole. Better Cloud was awesome, but honestly, that's just too far a drive. I went to Gateway and asked if they carried any unflavored nic vape juice. They didn't at the time, but told me they would order some if I wanted it. If you want a smoke shop where people know their stuff, this one ain't it. I asked for a 3DXL chamber for my peak through the phone and they said 120. Regular 3D chamber goes for 100 and the regular chamber is around 50. I walk in, ask for the 3DXL chamber, and the person doesn't know what I'm talking about, I look around the store and find it. He asked me which one, I pointed and said "the one that says '3DXL'". He grabbed the regular 3D chamber and it rang for 120. I was unaware that he grabbed the regular 3D one because he made sure I wanted the 3DXL chamber before grabbing it. I come home and notice it says 3D on it instead of 3DXL. I call them and tell them I didn't get the right one. Now of all a sudden, their regular chambers are 100, their 3D chambers are 120 and the 3DXL is 169.99. Please don't go to this place. I know those are false prices because I bought a regular 3d chamber when it barely came out and it was 100 both in smoke shops and in the puffco website. I didn't bother going back because he lied about the prices and I wasn't trying to deal with that after work. Go to Puff N Stuff instead of this deceiving place. read more

I actually spent $400 at some other smoke shop when I should have brought my business here to Gateway.. Biggest mistake ever! The idiot who runs a joke of a smoke shop not that far away, not only over charged me, but sold me fake ceramic and a down stem that broke two days later. When the (wannabe ceramic) broke, it burned my thigh so badly. When I stepped into Gateway Smoke Shop, Ali took care of me, even though it wasn't his sell. Even though he had to close early, so he could drive all the way to SF to be with his sick father, he still took the time to make sure I was satisfied .So if you are looking for more than fair prices, and customer service which is only surpassed by how gorgeous he is, go see my boy ALI AT GATEWAY!!!! My new favorite vape shop- the two guys working were so nice and knew what they were talking about- I had been to like 3 other spots that were out of everything, and the guys at gateway smoke actually explained that there was a shortage of supplies. Plus they actually knew what their products were and were so nice and patient with me because I came in with parts from like two different vapes and they helped me figure out what I actually needed. Totally helpful, good prices, and friendly knowledgeable people working there. All the other places I went were overpriced, had no idea what their products were and were not helpful at all.
