The store is unique as the space is split between two boutiques with PJ's Pink Boutique being on one side and Diva Cowgirl on the other. There are dressing rooms at the back of the store for you to try on any of the items in the shop. So many cute clothes and nice jean jackets. If you are looking for Christmas presents for those gals on your list this is a good place to stop. The prices were definitely good and a little better than some boutiques offer. The shop is located on the back side of main street and has a private lot you can park at to have easy access, rather than using the front, street parking. It is a small shop, but it has lots of local options. She sells several Indiana and Hoosier shirts and sweatshirts, which are very cute. There are scarves, jewelry items and great smelling candles. The price is actually affordable and doesn't make you feel like you're going bankrupt buying local. Fortville has seen a ton of recent development and businesses open up the past year. If you haven't made it this far northeast, you should definitely put ii on your list.

They were having a little wine party in the store to celebrate Small Business Saturday and the mood was very festive. It seems like a fun place to hang out, and a very calming atmosphere, lot of room between fixtures in the store and a little seating area. The clothes are probably for the 20-mid 40 something crowd. I didn't find anything for myself but saw a lot of things for my daughter. I did buy a soy candle that was locally made in Fishers. The saying on the glass jar reminded me of someone and will make a perfect hostess gift.

Apricot Lane also sells lots of HSE/Fishers and Indiana colleges merch, which makes a perfect gift for any teacher, student, or graduate. My favorite thing about apricot lane is the customer service. Everyone is so helpful with setting up fitting rooms, ordering sizes online, and even acting as personal stylists when I can't decide what to get! The owner, Shelly Hudson, really goes above and beyond to personally greet everyone at the door and engage with the customers. They have a lot of great classes they offer each month. They have a large variety of items from new to vintage and you can really tell the owner is picky with whom she allows to set up in her shop. The shop itself is really big and set up so elegantly you could easily wander and shop for an hour. Kathy's shop is a definite must see when you are strolling around Fortville. I just wish I took more pictures to share but i was so drawn into looking around i forgot. This town is also a great place for some amazing fall pictures or photographers in general.
