Three women were behind the counter talking the entire time that I walked around their store. Not once did anyone acknowledge me. Not one simple greeting, not one Can I help you?, not one! I left, saw my husband waiting outside for me and told him 'I want to do an experiment to see what might happen if I walk in with a man. Sadly, what I thought would happen, happened. We recieved a greeting and within seconds. The owner/manager walked up to us and asked if she could help us. I told her the story and she apologized. I couldn't truly identify what three women it was, but I'm confident she knew (wasnt like there were ten working that morning). My first trip to Estes, my first store to walk into and this is how I was treated.
