Hey guys! Just a quick followup on this fantastic restaurant. So we went back yesterday for lunch,…read moreand again,NO DISAPPOINTMENT! The way the food is cooked here immediately transports me to my childhood home, with mom cooking, yelling at us kids to stop lifting the lids off the pots. This food is phenomenal. The rice and beans, platanitos, tostones, all have such a flavor, and that special ingredient that only a mother has, love. I had the tostones, the wife had bistec empanizado and we took the croqueta sandwich home. Man o man, I dont think I've ever finished ameal without taking a to go container with me. The service is excellent, food is 10 stars! I genuinely feel as if I was in a family members home for lunch or dinner, not in a restaurant. This place should be on a tv show somewhere. I think ill nominate them for Guy's Triple D. Keep up the great work, see you next week. :)

Restrooms were very clean and I loved the art inside. Food was delicious, well seasoned, cuban cuisine. Portions were large and adequately priced. Everything was house made and according to the server, it was grandma's recipes. In fact, the entire family was working last night so please come support this small business. The only recommendations I have is to minimize the number of small plates on the main entrées. Your dishwasher will thank you. The ropa vieja was well seasoned, but it lacked the tomato sauce.

We started out with a chocolate martini & a Whispering Angel Rose. Both were refreshing and very celebratory for my friends birthday. Since it was lunch, we went straight to entrees. My husband had the Strawberry Field salad with shrimp. Beautifully crisp and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly even if the salad should have had less dressing. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. I would give this restaurant a solid 4.5 stars as the refill of our water was a big sluggish. Since you cannot rate in 1/2 star increments, I gave it a 5.

It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. It was much too hot to sit outside, so we enjoyed the view from an inside table. We decided to split the steamed clams (without the sausage) and a lobster bisque for lunch. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. Sometimes you just want to go with the flow, and that is just what we did!

They have such a great variety and types of beverages, that it often takes us awhile to choose! All of their taps are available in a flight, and that is a great way to try several. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming! We have gone just for a beer and have also gone for dinner. They have some of their own offerings and also offer food from the Italian place next door. All of the food choices we have tried have been excellent as well. It is a great place to come to relax or to bring the family for dinner. We don't live locally, but come visit the Brew House often when we are in town!

I had been calling around and couldn't find many places that served cider, so I was happy to learn that House of Brews did. They have a menu with a lot of drink options. There is also entertainment like pool tables and other games, but overall it was a pretty chill night since I went on a Wednesday. We sat at the bar. The bartender did not engage in much conversation, but he was polite and attentive. Since it was close to closing time, they only had a few slices of pizza left from next door, so I cannot really speak to the food. Overall, it was a relaxed spot with a good variety of drinks. If you are ever in the Jensen Beach area, it is worth giving House of Brews a try.
