From the start, the therapist didn't ask what type of massage I wanted, and it felt like I was just rubbed the entire time without much attention to pressure or specific problem areas. I had really hoped to get relief from the knots in my shoulders, which have been very tense, but she mostly used her arms instead of her hands or fingers to apply targeted pressure. For my legs, the same approach was used--lots of oil and arm movements with minimal pressure, which didn't address my muscle tension as I'd hoped. Not sure if I'll be returning, as I didn't feel the deep relief I was looking for.

My therapist today traveled to my location & showed up at the exact time we set up the appointment for. The massage table was comfortable, the sheets were very cozy & clean, without a chemical smell or harsh fragrance. She used the organic oil I requested & provided, which I appreciated greatly. The pressure was nice; I enjoy deep/hard pressure. She suggested a slight dynamic exercise of the spine & offered cues for breathwork during some stretching that she started out with, which made the massage feel extra luxurious & very pampering. Our time together was a bit over the 60 minutes that I requested, so she wasn't in a hurry to run out the door, which I like. I must admit, at first, I was a bit taken aback by the price that she quoted me while booking the service, it is slightly more than other therapists in the area, but now after my time with her, I know she has extensive knowledge of the human body & she has perfected her touch to be graceful, soothing, & effective at releasing tension from the muscles, all of which is clearly a result from being very experienced & passionate about what she does, so the service was well worth the price. Well this lasted over 30 which was not relaxing. Also, at one point I felt like the therapist was using just their thumb to massage which was painful and uncomfortable. I was getting inpatient feeling they forgot what I circled on the intake form (never reviewed with me) and asked how much time was left (15 mins) and if they were going to massage my feet, they said sure and gave me the weakest foot massage I've ever paid for at a massage shop.
