Their search engine criteria often helped to find properties prior to MLS listings, which was very valuable in some of the highly sought-after neighborhoods of Austin. Over this prolonged period of searching and showings, he never once pressured us into a situation that wasn't the best fit. Despite the hopes and excitement, finding the right house in Austin was quite a challenge. Three months into the search, my wife and I still didn't feel like we knew the area enough to make the right choice. Inventory seemed low and houses were often sold before being on the market. We were very fortunate to meet Mel, Gary, and the team during our search. With years of experience, the Gentry team knew each street and corners of Austin neighborhoods. Gary also knew many of the listing agents and it was visible during open houses. Everyone in the team was personable and easy to relate to. Mel once told us "You'll know it when you see the right house". We found ourselves reminding each other that phrase over and over during the search process. Fast forward 60 days, we closed on the first house that we made the offer to. We called it a miracle because it was a highly competitive, multiple offer situation. Gary coached us in every possible dimension to make the offer attractive. In the final hours, the team moved fast and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to zero in on the negotiations. During the option period, Claire streamlined everything from inspection, contractor bids, to repair negotiations. We were very impressed with her attention to detail and subject expertise on a variety of topics. She made sure the burden of stressful communication is off our shoulders. That right there is a huge problem in my opinion. She won't even apologize or give a reason. Apparently it's no big deal to her. All she is worried about is that huge commission..... which she will never see! Way too many people in this industry who have no buisness being in it in my opinion Wow! In reference to your reply what a crock! Rachel not only discussed this I don't know how many times but also went to the property twice. Including Sunday morning when she sent me a video clearly detailing both homes. It is also clear on the tax roll that there are 2 homes +on the property. When I told her I found a mistake on the contract she acted like it was a common thing and didn't even want to look. She asked me to tell her what's wrong. Looks like you're trying to be the bully now fellow. I will not tolerate dishonesty and bullying from anyone and you might have over 1000 good reviews but you have plenty of bad ones too! . Next time why don't both of you accept responsibility for your mistakes instead of trying to act like it's not. Of course I don't know why I would expect y'all to do that. And then sent a barrage of harassing texts and calls. I am shocked at this type bullying. No way to conduct business. Response to agent's response: Kelsey, do you actually expect me to believe the trash people comment? That excuse may have worked for your mommy boss but not me. I know you meant to call us trash. Before I disconnected the last call you said "you are the type of people...." If that makes me feel bullied, then don't dispute that I feel bullied. Being called trash makes me feel bullied.
