Going to give this place a four stars for now. The last time we had our little BMW here my husband told them there was a problem with the battery and they said,"No, it's the water pump." They replaced the water pump. The problem was the battery. Since the battery was not replaced we ended up with additional damage.The guy that didn't listen longer works there. So we came back. This time they told us what the problems were after they ran computer Diagnostics. Several of thousand dollars later our little sports car is running just fine. One of the reasons they gain a 4 star rating is they didn't charge us for all of the labor. Most of the cost we had this time is just the parts. I believe this is a good business and we recommend them. We decided to forgive the damage caused by the employee who no longer works there. Told be they couldn't align my vehicle with 40,000 miles because it had a bad ball joint. Took to another mechanic and they said that the ball joints were fined and they aligned the vehicle. GEA tried to get $670 extra out of me. When I went to pick up the vehicle from The Mechanic he said you also need brakes your brakes are at 25%. Little did he know my regular mechanic had just done them seven months ago and the vehicle has only had 4000 miles on it since. So the brakes are like brand new. This place is an absolute rip off read all the one star reviews on Google. Don't trust them to fix anything on your vehicle. Mechanics are an independent business working underneath one an umbrella. They love to lie in order to create work for themselves. read more

I am a middle class harding working father of 2 and Gus took advantage of my family. For that I suggest any hard working individual looking to purchase from Gus needs to be very cautious. Here is my story: I reached out to Gus (the owner) about an RV he had posted on the internet. I went to look at the RV in person and at a glance the RV looked very clean and it ran very well. After further inspection we notice the carpet in the front of the RV was wet. He stated that one of his techs power washed the RV with the window open. At first this didn't seem unrealistic and I believe him. We settled on a price and i purchase the RV. 23,500 out the door. During our first trip my wife, 1 year old daughter, 5 year old son and mother-in-law went to bed. My wife turns on the TV and falls asleep. About an hour later, I entered the RV and found the entire RV full of blue smoke and NONE of the fire alarms we're sounding. I immediately screamed to everyone to get out. The TV tube in the RV burnt out and it was melting plastic and releasing a toxic plastic blue smoke that filled the camper. During that same trip the next day it began to rain. We then began to smell a damp / musty smell. We followed the smell to the front of the RV and found the run was completely soggy as if someone dumped a gallon of water on the floor. We soaked up the water the best we could. The next day (when it stopped raining) I climbed on the roof to find the source of the leak. The roof had pervious damage in 3 location that was not disclosed to me. This particular spot was located in the front of the RV. I called Gus to tell him about the issue and he ask me to bring in the RV. During the drive back to GEA Auto, the check engine light turned on. I ask him to fix the leak and the check engine light. He said he would get an RV repair guy to fix the leak and his techs will check the check engine like. After about 2 weeks texted me stating he could not get in touch with the RV repair guy and he would fix the leak himself. The repair he did was simply re-seal the seams. This was NOT a proper fix. The next week we again went on a camping trip and the carpet was again damp. I pulled back the rug to find a 3 foot by 4 foot section of black mold on the passenger side. As i peeled by the walls, i notice the entire side of the RV also had black mold. I then examined the driver side and it was worse than the passenger side. Again, I texted Gus and he said... and I quote "Put the carpet back on and use it when you done I will find a guy to replace it Will use marine plywood Give 5 minutes let me make a phone call" I will also post our text correspondence as proof of all the events. In conclusion, Gus is no longer responding to my text or calls. I have left messages at his dealership asking for a call back. I took the RV to Camping World to get a quote of the repairs. They told me I have 3 leaks and 3 areas with black mold. The roof would need to be completely replaces and all of the walls and carpet would need to be taken out to find the rotted wood. Then replace all the rotten wood on the floor, walls and ceiling. That estimate was $6000. Then they proceeded to tell me my tires were more than 5 years old and no dealership should of sold this RV with tires from 2012 because it a life treating danger if you have a blowout. That estimate was $4500 At first Gus seemed like an honest and very forthcoming business man. Now, Gus has cost me 23,500 because I can not put my family in this dangerous RV, I can not rent it out, nor will any dealership give me a reasonable trade in value. I truly believe Gus knew this RV had extensive damage and also knows it will cost more to fix than the RV is worth. That is why he is no longer responding back to me. All I am looking for is for Gus to be an honest person and give me the $6000 to fix the roof. I believe that is reasonable considering he sold me an RV with a dangerous amount of black mold that could harm my family. If he make it right I will append this review with an update. My experience with GEA has been less that satisfactory from day one. With recommendations from AK Tire and R&R auto body I have had two poor experiences with GEA Auto Sales and Services. After purchasing new tires from AK tire I needed a four wheel alignment. A simple alignment turned into a $700 plus job and then it had to be returned due to a problem with the rear suspension. Not a good experience. Secondly, after having a problem with the hydraulic power system for the convertible top, GEA was recommended by R&R Auto body for this repair. GEA charged $125 to investigate the problem and give me an estimate for the repairs. The estimate was about $2600 and some change. I gave the go ahead and left the car at GEA. A few days later I got a call from GEA and they claimed they could not find the needed main pump, but they gave me the BMW part number and a parts warehouse where the part could be purchased for about $700. I wonder why they could not purchase the part, but I went ahead and ordered the part and delivered to GEA. When I said I would order the pump the mechanic said he would order the others parts so that they could work on my car when the pump arrived. The pump arrived, but no parts ordered by GEA. It took another fours weeks to get parts that they said were available. They claimed, supply line problems, shipping problems and finally the mechanic had COVID. I finally when back to their facility to see if my car was even there, it was their promised they would get it repaired in the next week. To my surprise, when I when to pickup the car the bill was $2600 and some change. so, we had an estimate of $2600 for a completed job. I bought the pump for $720, which was in the original estimate, so the bill should have been $1900. I told them the $2600 could not be right since I purchased the pump. So, I had taken the car in, they investigate the problem, gave a price in total $2600 and some change, so how did they get to $3400. I would never have agreed to that much....their claim, the estimate never included the pump! how would I know the part number and a phone number to call to get the part? how would I know that they always changed the hydraulic hinges. In my eighty years I have never seen a scam like this. Hopefully AK Tire and R&R Auto Body will never recommendation GEA again. I told GEA how unhappy I was, they had ZERO concern and just kept repeating the opposite of what they told me when I took the car in, sad but true. 33 days to get this repair made! My daughters car was having a problem Toyota Corolla we suspected it was a fuel pump problem because it won't start at the gas station upon fill up. The car is completely under warranty they convinced us to pay $750 to do work other than the fuel pump work told us we had to do that before we applied for the warranty information. The car is still having the same problems. When we call GAE AUTO they treat us as if "we" are the problem. The lady in the back office has no patience whatsoever. I will never recommend them again. They refuse to do the warranty work. We were supposed to drop it off there today. The way we've been treated I would never bring a car there for repairs. I have to admit at one time GAE Auto used to be a good mechanic but there obviously has been some management changes. I would never go here! The customer service is terrible! My husband was referred to G.E.A. Service for repairs on our Mercedes. Gus, the owner, went over every issue the car had and pointed it out to my husband personally. It came out be a hefty amount. These repairs should have been checked and done over the years at Lonnies Mercedes repair in Ormond Beach. The Garage is immaculate, you could eat off the floor. GEA Auto Sales is the place to take your car for repairs! Excellent work done here! I take my 2001 Lincoln Town car in for repairs. All work was done in a timely manner and everything is perfect. Very clean all over the repair shop. Comfortable waiting room. All of the used cars on the lot look brand new. I would definitely feel comfortable buying a car here as well.
