Normally I defer to Apple direct for issues like this, I took the recommendation from Apple's site as a solid endorsement and scheduled my visit. I was pleased to find a same-day appointment available and dropped off around noon. I was pleasantly greeted and hung out while they performed a basic diagnostic. When it confirmed only the battery replacement was necessary I took my receipt and headed home. How pleased was I to have a call the next day at 2:00 telling me my computer was ready for pick up! All in all a great experience though I know I can't count on parts always arriving next day. In any case, I'll definitely check here first should I require any more Apple product service. P. S. My…read more2-yearold HP laptop would not restart, even after following all the manufacturer's guidance from hotline. Marty at PCFixMe! answered my call, offered to fix later that same day, and when I drove up to CLE, he did troubleshooting and identified issues with motherboard. He corrected it, said it was common issue, and provided tips to prevent it (properly shutting down laptop). He also showed me how to remove back of motherboard and unplug/replug in battery, and provided me with small screwdrivers so I could do it myself if needed. Which I did when similar issues came up the next week. Twice. The solution worked temporarily, but... when my screen went black the following week, I called Marty to discuss. Since I was located an hour away, he kindly offered several options, one of which included helping me purchase a new laptop if motherboard was bad- worst case scenario. When I took the laptop to him, he did trouble shooting, laptop did not reboot, motherboard was bad and we proceeded to shop online for a replacement. He recommended a replacement, and he ordered it then and there. When it arrived a few days later at his shop, he called to tell me he noticed a scuff on the cover and also found that it did not have all he had expected in hardware, and apologized for his mistake. We discussed an alternative Lenovo laptop - also less expensive - and he purchased. When it arrived several days later, I picked it up. Marty was honest with me again and told me my old laptop eventually did reboot! I said I'd keep it as a backup, but I needed a reliable alternative for my new business. And I was back up and running within 4 business days. Marty at PCFixMe! is honest, prompt, professional, courteous and exceeds expectations! What a breath of fresh air.

Deb, the sad,worn out, miserable, poor lady behind the counter today sealed my decision to never use this store again. All i wanted to do was recover from a difficult day at work myself (the irony was not lost on me, however I try and compensate my woes with kindness and compassion for others) and recycle our office's ink cartridges. When first approaching the counter, i was immediately made to feel as if me walking through the door was ruining her day. And if the sighs and groans weren't enough to detract me from completing the transaction, hitting the keyboard keys with disdain certainly completed the whole effect of, " I wish you'd just go away, annoying customer " did. Mind you, I said nothing except "hello" to this woman. She was annoyed I didn't have the account phone number, but I handed her my member number! I don't see how it's my fault that she wasn't trained thoroughly and couldn't figure it out. I suspect that she was just pretending to enter the member number so that she had reason to groan more and make me feel unwanted at the counter. It continued on from there for another 5 minutes, but there's no need to bore you with those details. It just got ridiculous. The manager in this store is the real problem, however. Employees are only as good as their training. Although I highly doubt Deb would be happy at any job.
