Since 2010 I've been running a Gearstar Performance C6 (Level IV) transmission and 10" custom stall Billet Racing converter behind the 521-ci stroker Ford in my Canadian Hot Rods magazine Ford Country '57 Ford wagon. The car runs consistent 10.80s (sometimes into 10.70s) at 124mph. Always leaves hard, never misses a shift. Still going strong. This is one stout, reliable performance transmission and I'd recommend Zach and his crew to anybody who wants the best street, street/strip or just strip transmission. We like the product so much we're going to purchase a Gearstar 4R70W to bolt behind the 431-ci stroker FE we're building for our project 1962 Ford Ranch Wagon. Top Notch company! The whole process start to finish was a great experience from Zack on the front end helping me put together the best fit for my vehicle which is a 1967 Buick Rivera a bit of an oddball with a built 600+horsepower motor and about the same torque. Larry was on the technical support end, who had actually built my transmission himself and knew it top to bottom and could answer any questions I had with it, without any bit of hesitation.
