Unfortunately these are stock insoles, which the sales staff attempts to find a near fit. However,…read morestaff are not medical techs, and their insoles might not address the real needs of certain feet. Yet, they will pressure to sell and their items are non-refundable. In hindsight, I should have not allowed myself to be pressured to buy when the insoles did not fully feel suitable. They might be helpful for some people with minor arch problems, however my feet needed more and in my experience, staff is not adequately trained or interested in providing further suggestions other than sell their products. They were polite, and seemed to be trained to a certain extent, but more to sell a product and not to provide medically needed insoles. It's a good thing I didn't purchase the "lifetime" insoles they were pushing at first. These insoles they try to sell as a package making it sound that's the best or the only way to go, selling at around $1800 a set, but that is revealed toward the end of the sales presentation. Insistently, the salesperson sold me on some 6-month insoles after I was not convinced on their "lifetime" package. Past a few weeks, I realized they didn't help my foot pain and swelling issues -which were not plantar fasciitis! So I researched other resources for my foot pain and found that I could go to a podiatrist without a referral. So if you're in a similar foot/hip situation, I'd suggest to consider attending yourself with a specialist. Unfortunately, family doctors I have visited never suggested I go see a podiatrist, therefore I didn't have that in mind initially. I've had custom insoles from a local podiatrist for two weeks so far and already my pain and inflammation are near to nothing. The podiatrist found issues with bone structure that I wasn't aware of, and visiting the Good Feet Store with the imprints they take and all they wouldn't be able to or willing to let go of their sale opportunity. Buyer Beware!

When I arrived there were three customers in the store and one sales associate, Hector (Ceja), in attendance. Hector was helping a customer (couple) with compression stockings but acknowledged me, asked if I needed help and directed me to the right section. Then he went to help another customer who was inquiring about beds and complaining about prices. Hector was patient in trying to explain about the products and service available, the whole while the customer was online checking Amazon and complaining. Why that person didn't just leave and buy online, I have no clue. The store was well stocked and clean. I found the prices reasonable for the products and quality very good to high for the items I was interested in. Hector was courteous and efficient in checking me out despite seeming a bit distressed about the complaining customer's loud diatribe. He told me about a sale that would be starting up and gave me business cards. My brother-in-law wears compression stockings so I gave the information to my sister. They have shopped Amazon for compression stockings but find that they stretch out and deteriorate fairly quickly thus requiring repurchase. I suggested they check out the products at The Bone Store. I also did online research BEFORE going into the store and what I found was cheaper, but also of inferior quality. Ultimately, 'cheaper' often means repeated purchases costing more over time. I would recommend to any one looking for medical grade equipment to do thorough research, including an in-store visit to determine needs and economy. I will be returning to the store to consider other options for the injury I have. I do recommend The Bone Store on Caldwell in Visalia CA.

I thought that this practice has a new owner and is now called Stockdale Podiatry Group. Hmm Also, I received an automated call from their office to remind me of an upcoming appointment. The message also mentioned that after March (?) there would be a $35.00 charge for appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time. I am 75 and in poor health, so chances are sooner or later i would be hit with the penalty. Anyway, i cancelled the appointment and will find a new podiatrist. Penalties for being unable to keep an appointment are unfair, especially in this office where wait time often exceeds a half hour. Where's MY thirty five bucks?

Dr. Grant was warm, welcoming and professional asking repeatedly if I was comfortable during the procedure. I would give 5 stars but when my Insurance had been contacted and I was told orthotics would be covered 90% I asked if there was a ball park figure as to what my out of pocket might be. I could get no answer what so ever and this was slightly frustrating when you like to be prepared for upcoming bills. All in all small in the overall wonderful impression and care in this office.

The young man that fitted me for the brace was very nice, and I picked it up, several weeks later. It was very bulky and tall, which is fine, but he told me that I might need to get a different shoe size. I took it and went to multiple stores, trying on all types of shoes to fit this device inside of them. No way would it fit inside an athletic shoe, I tried hiking boots, other types of boots etc. Not going to work. I tired shoes/boots a size and a half bigger than my regular size, as well. If you have common sense, you will understand that that isn't going to work either, because I can wear extra socks to compensate, for the difference in sizes, it still wouldn't be comfortable. I took the boot back, because there was initially a heel on the brace of about an inch thick, I told him that the difference in height was going to throw my hips off, so he took that off. It still didn't work. I went to my regular Dr. and explained the situation, and took the boot with me. He could clearly see the problem. He referred me back to my podiatrist and recommended that I order a stable wrap brace on Amazon. So now I'm almost a $100 down, for a brace that is unusable. Make sure you know what you're getting.
