My husband and I were visiting downtown Baker City. We went into the lobby to look in the gift shop. On our way out my husband asked very nicely if we could look at the adjoining atrium area. The 2 boys at the desk said no, the public isn't allowed. My husband kindly said "oh, okay" and then took a step closer looking up at the decorative ceiling. No aggression, no threat just looking up. Immediately, the blonde boy jumped in front of him and said "you need to leave" and practically pushed him towards the door. We were both shocked by the angry and aggressive tone so we didn't move immediately so they both said they were going to call the police. Never have we been treated with such disrespect! Small towns are usually welcoming but not here apparently!! Dear Ginger- OF COURSE the story from your staff would be vastly different from the actual events. From previous reviews, this is the EXACT response I knew I'd see. Hotels are supposedly in the "hospitality" industry and private or not, your staff were not hospitable or welcoming. Every person, paying guest or not, should be considered a prospective guest. But it is evident that the staff's kindness is only extended if there is money involved. It's your business, so of course, our experience won't matter much in how you choose to treat people, which is unfortunate. Best of luck to you! read more

The Geiser Grand lives up to its name with ridiculously spacious rooms and a traditionally elegant, old-world ambience. Check-in is firmly set at 4 p.m., so don't plan on getting in early! (They also will not store your luggage prior to check in time.) Valet parking in a gated lot with camera coverage is available; otherwise be prepared to fend for yourself on the mean streets of Baker City. Room 309 came equipped with thoughtful touches--a small fridge, hot chocolate, and a charming penny-tile bathroom that felt straight out of history. The hotel's legendary ghosts didn't keep me awake... too much. All in all, a grand stay with plenty of character (both living and otherwise). read more

I've worked in luxury and convention hotels. Some guests see their stay at a hotel as a call to combat. That is not my intention here. I do feel that with a few adjustments, this hotel would be a success on every level. The hotel fails on making a good first impression when it should dazzle. You walk in and immediately are greeted by a stanchion with a velvet hooked rope preventing entry. We had called ahead and paid for an early check-in. A staff member approached us from behind the desk and stood behind the barrier. I asked if were using the wrong entry. She was a very nice young lady, but clearly hotel policy made her feel awkward. We likewise felt awkward. She explained that there would be an early check-in fee, but would have to look and see if a room was available. The barrier was reluctantly removed. There is another barrier blocking the ADA ramp. That remained hooked for the entirety of our stay. I was accompanied by my elderly mother and our three legged dog, recently recovering from her surgery. We got the early room. The hotel was besides us empty. It was silent. It was one of those spaces where you hear your voice being louder than normal because it has to assert itself over just how loud the silence is. After check-in, we were informed that the elevator was broken. We were assigned a room on the third floor. It is not an easy feat for a three legged animal to climb three stories. We were able to accomplish this. The staircase, while beautiful, is dimly lit and lacking an adequate handrail. My mother had recently suffered a fall at home and was scared of going up and down the stairs. The maintenance person, who was very nice, told us that they expected the elevator would be fixed within 10 minutes. I took our dog for a short walk. I went downstairs to talk to a new front desk person. They were also very nice. I explained that we needed the elevator operational if we were going to stay the night. A man appearing to be a manager of some sort appeared and discussed the issue with the front desk person while I sat close by. The front desk person indicated that I was the person inquiring about my options. Perhaps this person was having a bad day. They never introduced or identified themselves. They did not make eye contact. They gave off an air of arrogance and dismissiveness, completely inappropriate for both the situation and the grandeur of the property. They did not respond to my description of my mother's fears about the staircase. This person told me that the elevator would be fixed within an hour. They also said that they chose to repair the elevator before their check-in time of 4. He said with a side-eye, "But you chose to arrive before the 4 o'clock check-in time...." We paid extra money to check in early. Having been a GM myself, I can say fairly and objectively that this person is in need of extensive training on how to interact with guests. I promise that I was never unpleasant with anyone on the property, including this person. Here is where things got (a lot) better. Ginger called our room as soon as I returned to it and told me that they did not expect the elevator to be fixed that evening. She was kind and expressed concern about the situation before offering the best solution available. This is how you recover from a bad guest experience. It is not the hotel's fault that the elevator was broken. Ginger did not make promises that she could not keep. She offered to move us from the third floor to the second floor in the same room type. She removed our early check-in fee. She also sent up a pair of individuals to assist us with the luggage. Thank you, Ginger! read more

The front desk staff is beyond rude and condescending. We walked in to get a gauge of the place for possible future events and were quickly reprimanded. They say "you cant take 3 steps forward to look at the empty dining room because of guest privacy." Yet they take money to guide tours all throughout the hotel every day - where's their care of guest privacy then? Face it. It's not about caring for the guests, it's about money. The Geiser Grand is a gem of an historic hotel we discovered during a road trip exploring eastern Oregon. It exceeded any and every expectation. The hotel is beautifully restored with a stunning stained glass ceiling that was carefully rebuilt. Our room was super comfortable and elegant (with a chandelier!). The staff members obviously take pride in the hotel, and they were all friendly and helpful. And the food is outstanding! We can't wait to return! read more

Never been to a more unwelcoming place. The building itself is very pretty. But the face tattooed (nothing against tattoos) lady at the desk was super rude. She seemed bothered to even greet us let alone talk to us. There wasn't a soul in sight in the whole building and I wasn't even allowed to look up at the stained glass ceiling without being told off. Who wants to stay in a place where not even the front desk person can manage to be happy Edit: In response to the Manager comment. From the moment we stepped in to this establishment the environment and attitude of your staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly. The staff spoke in a condescending tone from beginning to end. We inquired about tours and the responses to this was also unwelcoming. The restaurant area was very clearly blocked off with a rope and no attempt was made to cross this boundary. I understand a hotel needs rules but rules can be enforced in a respectful manner and these were not. I took one step up the stairs (which are not blocked off and was not told it was restricted) and was told (rudely) to get off. I did so without fuss and left. There are ways to enforce rules and be kind at the same time. The staff there at the time was un able to do this. From the countless other bad reviews I am one of many many others who have had the same experience. This review is about the attitude of your staff, not about the rules you enforce. read more

Hubby & I love the old Victorian cowboy days, gunslinger's, Pirate treasure & fancy ladies. One of our fave trips of all time we set out on a "Cowboy Gold Rush road trip" adventure, out to Oregon, only planning on staying here at the Grand Geiser for 2 nights. Then, it started snowing & snowing. Built in 1889, The Geiser Grand was known as "the Queen of the Mines" during the Gold Rush era. It was known as being the finest hotel between Portland, Oregon and Salt Lake City, west of the Mississippi river. YeeHaw! On the way there, a terrible snowstorm crippled the entire Northern territory of the United States, traffic came to a complete halt & we barely made it to the hotel as the police were directing traffic off the highways there. We ended up staying a whole week with all these other weary travelers that got off the highway that were just passing thru. We had the whole hotel to ourselves. No one came or left. It was like the song "Hotel California" you check in but you don't check out. We lucked out & got a huge King suite with high ceilings, it was amazballs. It just snowed & snowed the whole time we were there, so we just stayed inside the whole time. We took all our meals in our room via room service & drank at least two cases of Pinot Noir out of their cellar. They had their own vino label, we loved it, all of it! haha. Good times. The food was all great, but they did start running out of things during the end of our stay due to the fact we were all snowed in. Our gorgeous ginormous suite was so comfy, fabulous bed, beautiful antique furniture, antique chandelier's everywhere. Very very Romantic hotel. Our room also provided 2 giant white plush robes, we ended up just wearing them running around the hotel drinking wine the whole time. They showed us around, took us all thru the hotel, told us all the Historical history & lots of ghost stories & showed us the secret tunnels! There are tunnels underneath this hotel that were used for the men to go undetected across the street to the bordellos back in the day. We loved everything about this hotel, we stayed up late drinking & playing cards every night, we heard lots of strange noises, heavy foot steps & wild laughing, it was really intense. A once in a lifetime experience. The staff was so lovely & so friendly, we were so sad when we left, I cried. One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had in our life. Beautiful hotel architecture, If you're a vintage head 10/10. Cute town with a handful of shops and consignment stores. My only complaint was about the individual room we stayed in. 270 dollars for a king with a den. The bed was hard, I think simply investing more in a pillow topper and new linens for the rooms would make a large difference in my experience. The hotel would also do well to invest in some updated decor. Otherwise a little oasis in a small town. read more

After making our reservation on line, we were called by the hotel to ask us if we would be there to be part of the upcoming hotel tour or would we like reservations at their hotel for dinner that night, Those small touches make it a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were huge, the ambiance was fantastic and the staff was attentive. I absolutely loved the restored hotel. We were given a run down of summer events and breakfast options for the next day. My wife and I love Geiser Grand, we usually stay there a couple of times a year. It's very easy to get there from Boise and also a great place to stay when coming through town. The hotel staff, food, and bar are top notch. The hotel is full of history and accommodations are wonderful in the rooms. 5 stars always! The hotel itself is lovely, and the restaurant is great. But the reservations and management team are another matter. I have stayed there twice before--with a few little hiccups, such as no one being available to get my car out of valet parking!--but whatever, it's a small business and a local hotel in a small town. The real issue happened on a third planned trip. I had to cancel my reservation because of a family emergency. I did so, via Hotels.com, within Geiser Grand's 72-hour cancellation window. But they denied the refund, and then would not speak to either Hotels.com or me about why or make any effort to resolve the dispute. Hotels.com and I reached out multiple times and were told variations of "we're too busy, call back," "I can't give you my manager's name or phone number," or "I can't talk to you, I have to talk to Hotels.com/the customer." read more

A beautifully restored historic hotel with a stained glass atrium above the restaurant, a winding staircase, a gift shop and really comfortable rooms with electric fireplaces in a separate, large sitting area, sofa, chairs, desk, TV, chandelier and tall ceilings. Dog friendly with beds and bowls provided and gourmet dog treats available for room service. We visited just after Christmas and there was a tall tree in the center of the dining room and complimentary milk and cookies delivered to our room by a Santa hat wearing elf. Interesting property, horrible serviceTL;DR: Interesting property, horrible service. Don't take it from just me, read the other guest reviews for consistent experiences. I wish I had before booking. ----------- The property is interesting, and they underwent a pretty substantial renovation back in the 90s. The hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it's wasted by ego and greed from the owner. Service is a real issue for guests and potential guests here. Upon walking into to the front door, you are abruptly asked of your intentions. Instead of welcoming a guest or potential guest, they are mostly interested in ensuring a person who hasn't paid yet will not enter their building. Once we said "we're checking in, we have reservations" the tone awkwardly shifted to a forced politeness. That was our immediate impression on the way in. The next issue was that upon check-in, the front desk associate let us know that our 13 year old child/minor is, to them, considered an adult, and we would be paying an "extra persons" fee. I said he is a minor, and that we booked a room that sleeps 4, so we should not be charged for "extra adults". We paid for a room that slept 4 and had two actual adults. He said it was on the Guest Rooms and on the Reservations pages of the site, which I said it was not there when I booked the room. That evening I confirmed that neither the guest rooms page or the reservation process stated that 12 year children are charged as adults. Another quirk during check-in was that we arrived ~3:30p, they said that our room was not yet available but we could upgrade to a room with a view that was available for an additional $20. We hesitantly agreed so we could unload our bags and move the car parked in the loading zone out front, and then head out for an early dinner. There were no rooms being cleaned by the staff - you can see all the rooms and their doors from the open atrium. The next morning, we were in the lobby waiting to head out for breakfast and overheard the overheard a manager training a new employee in a hushed tone. She was explaining how to address people who came in, not let anyone get "free tours", make sure that they're paying customers if they step in the door, etc. She also mentioned that when someone is checking in early that they are to offer an upgraded room (paid upgrade of course), which is exactly what happened when we checked in. She became frustrated that my wife could overhear her shameful guidance, and asked my wife in a rude tone if she was looking for breakfast. When checking out, there wasn't anyone available to ask about the extra person charge, so we left the key card in the drop box and rolled out. About an hour later they called to see if we were going to check out before Noon (we were already gone) and I asked the new front desk employee about the charge, since it wasn't on the webpage for the rooms or reservations. He had no clue, but said he'd research it with his manager. I asked for a call back to discuss. Immediately after that, I received an email from "Info@geisergrand.com" with the subject "Website policy." and literally just an attached screenshot from their website. I had to search their website and found it buried on the "About Us" page. Lesson learned: If you are booking a stay with a hotel that has a meager 3.8 rating, search far and wide for fine print buried on an About Us page (but not included in the details for the room or during the reservations process). If you are looking to stay at an interesting older property in decent shape, and don't mind rude service and surprise charges, then this place is for you. read more

My wife and I made reservations at THE GEISER GRAND HOTEL in Baker City Oregon. We stayed in their finest room with the best view , room 302, haunted by the "lady in blue" It was a 6 hour drive and we estimated we would arrive just before the 4 PM check in time. We had put a deposit down, with no refunds. We arrive at 2:30 PM since the freeway speed was 70 and we got there faster than planned. We went inside to the front desk and were greeted by a not friendly snob who told us our room was not ready. He was lying. We asked if we could look around and he said no. We walked around the Historic downtown for an hour a bought some Chinese food to take to my wife's mother's 87th birthday in Hells Canyon, another 70 miles away. We came back and he let us wait in the lobby until 4 PM. Then we checked in and had to ask for someone to get a cart for our luggage. We are 69 years old and this was a big expense to stay in the prime room under the clock tower. We were impressed with the architecture and excited. When we got to the room it had amazing chandeliers and and octagon dining room in the tower with views of the Blue mountains. They advertised the room as having a fireplace, period antiques, a spa, and a plasma TV with cable, A luxurious king bed. The table in the dining area was square and the room was octagon so because the chairs were too high to slide under the table there was not room to walk around them. There was only lower sheers on the window and the sun beat in and roasted us. The windows were dirty and the insulated glass had lost it's seal so they were fogged. That is where the fantastic view, they advertised , was. I sat on the couch and it had no padding so I was right on metal springs and it was not usable. The fireplace was an electric heater in a wood cabinet. The TV was 24 inch and off to the side so you could not comfortably watch it from the bed. The lamp was a plastic period looking copy. The big problem was the bathroom where a jetted (4 jets) tub was and had NO HEAT, the floor was freezing. It was SO LOUD when it ran I could hear it in the other room. The spa was a regular tub with a limited hot water supply. My wife took a tub then there was no hot water for me. I got out of the shower and froze. The coffee pot and room service phone were in the bathroom and took up most of the counter space. The shower had black mold in all 4 corners at the floor. The entry door had NO DEADBOLT OR CHAIN and was unsafe. Is all it would take was a credit card or knife to pop it open. We felt unsafe. The stairway is an accident waiting to happen. NO GRABRAIL, I used to build railings and this is not to code. (Historic though) They have a nice old elevator that works pretty well. The next morning, Monday, we headed out to Hell"s Canyon ( Snake River between Oregon and Idaho) at 9 am. We visited all day with her mother and came back about 7 PM to a street filled with cars and no spot for us. NOWHERE! They had valet parking 8 blocks away and cost money every time you needed your car. They advertise FREE PARKING. While we were gone, the male chamber maid went into our room and took pictures of a bic lighter, a smudge on the robe and some dirt by the toilet and did not tell us they charged us $250.00 because they claimed we smoked in the room......which WE DID NOT DO. I don't smoke anything, neither of us smoke cigarettes (I have COPD) and my wife smoked part of a marijuana cigarette outside while we waited for our room. She put it out and put it in her purse. Monday before we left she rolled a couple joints before we left. She got ash on her hand and touched the robe. No burn, just an ash smudge. Marijuana is legal in Oregon and OK to possess in our room. WE DID NOT SMOKE IN OUR ROOM !We smoked them in Hell's canyon not the room. It left a little smell or the vanilla perfume my wife used left an odor. They said their inspector smelled an odor.....he was a Mexican chamber maid. No credentials as an inspector. The next problem was out toilet overflowed and they had no shut off valve so I had to hold the float as water poured on my feet and ran out on the floor until we got someone with a special tool to shut off the water. We cleaned up the water with our towels. They never sanitized or cleaned the floor. We did not even know they charged us $250.00 until we got home. Then argued over and over that we smoked in the room, which WE DID NOT. The food was good and we ordered room service every day. The one lunch I ordered a chicken tortellini soup but got spicy Mexican chicken soup. After I tipped the server I ate cold soup and my wife ate cold mac and cheese. They let our food sit while they made the coffee we ordered with it. The 4 rolls came with it and one of the four was so hard it almost broke my wife's denture. Other than that all the food was good. I have stayed here many times on my way to or from Seattle WA and Sun Valley. Over the years I have had decent rooms and decent service. However everything NOW seems to have gone down to a 1 star. Not only that the staff and management are lying about the condition of our room. We had a room with wet spots all over one bed soaked through like a roof leak (we were on the 3rd floor), the other bed had sheets that were dirty had obvious dirty pillow and bottom sheet, numerous rips/cuts (approx 15) on the bottom sheet. Even though we had photos of everything, management denied a conversation with us (we attempted many times during our stay as well as by phone) and would only allow us to email or be emailed by some dept (no names of employees or management were given). The email we received said none of our concerns or observations were correct and that they found all of our statements to be false. We did have the night desk employee observe the condition of our room he even took photos, this gentlemen (Leif) observed and commented that yes he saw our concern and that he would report to management. Our one night was $250. I am letting everyone I know (I have recommended this hotel many times to all my Seattle and Sun Valley friends) to never stay here again, it was the worst experience and treatment I have ever received from a hotel. My half way point to spend the night may still include Baker City Oregon, however NEVER EVER will I set foot in this hotel again. read more

The staff was great but the food and bed were lackluster. It took 8 keys to get a key that worked. My husband's steak was not cooked how he ordered it but they did make a new one. My brisket was dry as sawdust. The water in the dining room tastes terrible but the water from the bar doesn't. No adjustments were made to the bill. The bed was broken down and squeaky. For my birthday, I decided to check into this historic hotel but the poor reception at the concierge turned my dollars elsewhere. I asked if I could take a look at the facilities, and the elderly blonde woman with glasses responded, "No visitors allowed." When she found out I write for Yelp (I was wearing my Yelp face mask), she quickly responded I was welcome to visit the gift shop and restaurant. Are you kidding me? This is not the Ritz and I would not entertain such behavior at any establishment. I instant booked an Airbnb three blocks away. This place is lovely on the outside. The people who work there hate the place and take it out on the guests. Kind of a creepy horror film vibe that will make you never return. It starts with the offer of valet parking "so your car will be parked at the police station" to the 15 minute check in; the pompous guy in the bar; to the non-existent server at breakfast. This historic and haunted hotel is one of my favorites! Most staff are wonderful save for the cranky shift manager but otherwise they are all fantastic. Bar is quiet but bartender (Brittany) makes great drinks and has fun stories about the town and hotel. The charm of this hotel can't be beat. The best part was at least one ghost, maybe more, was messing with my thermostat (made it too hot while on AC) but I was able to move to a different room. I guess they wanted room 305 for themselves. Numerous places to eat n drink within walking distance, too. If in Baker City, go the Geiser Grand. Oh, and eat breakfast at the Inland Cafe. read more

It's a beautiful old hotel with quaint Victorian rooms and all front desk staff were friendly and helpful. BUT they lacked luggage carts so I had to transport our bags without. We had a fairly expensive dinner that was marginal at best. There were only three tables of diners and the service was like the place was packed. They were out of many wines, my crab cake was cold, they brought my salad then immediately brought my dinner, they brought my husband a sirloin steak rather than the filet mignon he ordered, the bearnaise sauce for my filet mignon was also cold. When we told the waiter, the dining room manager came over and said he'd give us a discount--$5 off a $170 bill. Finally, the hotel charged $39 for my disabled veteran husband's service dog, which is not okay and very well might be illegal. I suggest you stop in and look at the beautiful architecture, then stay and eat somewhere else. read more

He could give master classes in customer service- perhaps start with the front desk staff on the task of multitasking and telephone etiquette. Bar Manager Jace is a wonderful world class bar tender and master mixologist, among other good things. Brisket for the Christmas Feast was an unmitigated disaster. Received a call a couple weeks later we were bumped from our reservation due at the restaurant as they had overbooked themselves and told us if we wanted to have dinner there it would be at the bar! Neither of us partake in liquor and this is the last straw! When I called the hotel to discuss my concern, he wanted to place me on hold. The young man on the phone could have cared less whether we stayed at the hotel, ate there or flied a kite! He was just so dismissive. I am not pleased with the employees of Geiser Grand hotel. Fortuntely we know the area well and there are two very nice steakhouses. We plan to partake at one of them. read more

I walked into the hotel, which is listed on a tour map as a historic building. The manager asked if we were checking in, and replied that we were not. As I walked toward the rear to look at the beautiful and historic decor above the restaurant, the manager walked up to me and said, "This is a private property for registered guests only, and we ask folks not to walk beyond the tiles. But the guest shop is open." I have never been treated so rudely entering a public establishment. I may have considered dining or staying here, but after that treatment, I will never set foot inside again. read more

Have you ever had an experience at a hotel where you felt like you were treated worse than an animal? This place is for you if you want to be treated badly. About a month ago my mother and I stayed at Baker City after visiting Boise. We had plans to have dinner at their restaurant, but right now they are only doing dinner (no lunch) and with reservations. We got into Baker City right around dinner time. We stayed at the Quality Inn in town and by the time we checked in, we were pretty tired and it was dark outside. Since our hotel had a restaurant, we decided to eat dinner there instead. We didn't make reservations for dinner at the Geiser Grand, and I am so glad we did not. I had heard about complimentary tours and a gorgeous lobby with a special stained glass roof. I love old architecture, so the next morning I asked my mother if we could swing by the downtown of Baker City to see the hotel for 5-10 minutes. I had wanted to see the lobby and where we missed eating. When we got to the door there was a "wait here" sign right in the entrance way. After 2 weeks of travel, this was the first hotel I had seen with a "wait here" sign right at the door. The front desk hostess shouted over to us instead of letting us come to the desk. I was wearing a mask and I politely explained our story about how we had wanted to eat in their lobby restaurant and how we had heard that the atrium was beautiful and epic. She yelled back to us saying that unless I was making reservations I was not allowed inside her hotel. I asked why. She kept repeating guest safety and Covid reasons. First of all, we had masks. I was not near anyone and the lobby was completely closed for dining services. With the exception of the 1 hostess and a couple leaving, I saw no other people there. Once she found out we weren't hotel guests - we were forbidden. We were leaving town and this was our only opportunity to see and appreciate this hotel since we are from Portland, Oregon and never get to Baker City due to the distance. I saw no guests in the hotel, but a couple who were leaving for a walk with their dog. So apparently an unmasked dog can walk all over the place, but a masked person interested in architecture and history who requested to see the empty lobby for 5 minutes is a "danger". This is not a private resort or a member only club. It is a historical building in the middle of old town Baker City. I had gone to a few 5 star hotels and a golf club in Sun Valley and in McCall and no one prohibited me from visiting. I told her that in my opinion I thought she was being rude and disrespectful for her actions and that she was loosing possible future customers. Instead of apologizing or explaining policies or even getting additional staff - after I said this, she picks up the phone and said she was going to call the police on us for trespassing. This was so ridiculous since we literally were standing practically in the entry way. We left, but it really made us in shock and left us feeling extremely sad and bad. After this happened, I did make a complaint to the Chamber of Commerce. They apologized on their behalf, but basically told me to go online to read other reviews of staff. Code word for this hotel has been mistreating people for awhile. I will never eat dinner here or stay here after being treated so badly. This place is reportedly haunted too so this is a warning. Ghosts and horrible staff = a bad combination for a good stay. I just saw management's reply. We were never offered a tour or an option to see their gift shop. I didn't even know they had one. As for them being the only historic hotel giving tours in the Pacific northwest, that's not true unless she is just talking about Baker City itself. The Benson hotel in Portland and the Davenport hotel in Spokane both offer tours too and are very historical buildings. There are a lot of hotels and inns that offer tours. Guests feel welcomed at those hotels. read more

Camping with friends this weekend, we stopped here to try again to see the hotel. We have people who have stayed there and wanted to check it out. The front reception though won't allow any exploration. They were pretty snotty about it as well. Can't even use the bathroom. So many other great places to check out and much friendlier people. I won't support places like this no matter how cool they might be. Oh well! Enjoy it if you can! Great bakery up the street with a bathroom and very friendly folks! I just asked to use the bathroom and no. My friends however bought a cup of coffee and suddenly they could go downstairs. Could have said something front reception snotty lady!!!! Great old world ambiance. Service excellent. Food was very good, well prepared and presented plus reasonably priced.

It's illegal to post tips added to wages when trying to hire staff. One of the worst places in eastern Oregon to eat or stay at, and especially work there. If the management work so hard to help the employees feel supported and valued how come dozens of people call the place toxic to work at and feel undervalued. Management has also told employees to write positive reviews on here and they will be rewarded. I am not a troll if I'm speaking the truth. This place could be wonderful for the community if they truly cared for it. read more

From the time we walked into the Geiser Grand and started our stay we knew that this would be something special. The front desk was very helpful and facilitated our arrival in fine fashion. Drinks before dinner at the cozy bar were served by a very knowledgeable bar man named Jason. He further made our night complete at dinner as our wait staff. The starters of coconut shrimp and wedge salad were outstanding and followed by a shared fillet steak done exactly as ordered with a delicious grilled flavor. All in all I would heartily recommend this fine hotel and restaurant for anyone traveling thru and looking for a great night's stop. read more
