The price for my room was great tonight... & I would stay here again except for the fact that they have no fruit at their continental breakfast. They also have lots of unhealthy bread products such as bagels, toast, waffles , and biscuits. Other food choices like gravy fake eggs, sausage links and sausage patties. But no fruit???. We are in Oregon for heck's sake! There were two really overweight parents feeding their five kids probably all under the age of 7. Their plates were all loaded with biscuits and gravy and all of this unhealthy food. And they were enforcing that they all finish their plates. It made me sick. I appreciate having a continental breakfast but the choices were just yuck. We need some live food ...fruit please?

We stayed in 113. The room was quiet, The closet had no doors or curtains. It is very dark on that side of the room & no light in that area. The remote was filthy. The bathtub had mold on the edges. I pulled the sheets down & there were little black flecks of something & a few dried yellowish things that looked like rice. We went to the office & got a fresh set of sheets. Gross!

Pretty good choice for a small town at the edge of the Journey Thru Time. This is our second stay here. Pet friendly for small and medium dogs, pet lawn, safe parking, and yes there are 2 bars of soap, a shower cap, bathmat, shampoo, hairdryer, coffee pot, iron and iron board, free wifi HBO, quiet rooms, free breakfast, downgrade for lumpy pillows, older tv, and small bed. They charge $15 for a dog and cats are not welcome. I'd say that for a small town its a good roadside place to rest on a long trip through! And close to 2 major grocery stores, banks, gas, fast food and close enough to tour this pleasant historic Oregon Trail town! If you are here in December don't miss the Christmas Parade but dress warmly!

Great comfort for the price. Bedding is nice, complementary breakfast, and a very helpful staff. We plan on staying again in the future

Yeah, they're super nice! 2) Quality: the rooms are always clean & include a microwave, fridge, dresser, table, couch, all the basics are there, and if you need more, just ask! 3) Price: has always been the same or cheaper than all the other places I called. Whenever I'm stopping in Baker (usually 1-2x/year), this is the place I like...oh yeah, and like the others mentioned, the view of the city and surrounding landscape is beautiful!

It was both the girls team and the boys team staying in the same hotel and we thought it was just going to be us (Mapleton High School Sailors/Lady Sailors Basketball teams) staying at this hotel but, we we were in for an awkward surprise when our school rivals from Mckenzie High School booked some rooms for their teams as well. Oh well, at least the stay was nice. And it snowed while we were there. And our school (Mapleton) won 3rd place which isn't that bad considering how many teams played in the tournament.

We were almost exactly in the middle of our trip and we were in a tough spot knowing exactly how to proceed. We needed a place to stay, a place to tow our broke down vehicle to, a place that was affordable, and nothing more to worry about for the evening! From the moment we called Baker City Motel & RV, (at about 9:30pm) we were greeted with a friendly tone and a helpful hands! What a nice surprise it was to find that it was also clean, tidy, and well-kept all around! The rooms were comfortable and supplied all our needs and ahhhh, the air conditioning! Thank goodness for the air conditioning! The family that runs this motel were courteous and professional as business managers but more importantly treated us as if they cared about us like family! The older gentleman even offered to take my brother to a local junk yard to look for whatever part we might have needed, this after spending considerable time making phone calls and trying to help us problem solve! Their grandson checked in on us often and spent much time online trying to help us find solutions too! When our help came, they were running late, so the managers asked the cleaning lady to work around our room so we could stay longer in our rooms which was helpful for the restroom access, t.v., wifi for our bored kids, and to stay out of the heat! All-in-all our major "bump in the road" could have been much worse without the kindness and above and beyond customer service afforded us at the Baker City Motel & RV! Thanks for the hospitality! We will see you again!
