He takes the time to ask your opinion and really listens to what you say and does what you want. My fall leaf was just the right touch to make the color pop. Adding glitter to it helped it shine and he especially coated twice to preserve it longer. He is consistent with fees which are reasonable compared to other salons. I will keep going back. read more

Love this salon. They take care of you nails not just file down and throw some polish on. They wrap your nails for gel removal instead of soaking your whole hand in that bowl of acetone. I have been to this salon twice. The 1st time was a decent experience except I did have a 25 minute wait for a fill. The lady that did my pedi and fill was pleasant and did a nice job. The second time I went it was horrible. My usual salon was super busy so I figured I would try this place again. Also, I promised my daughter she could get a Mani pedi. When I got my pedi the man who did it was very rough. He cut my nails crooked and cut 5 of my toes. I told him it hurt but he continued to do it even though I started to bleed and pull away. When they did my daughter's nails it was basically the same thing. I will never go to this place again. read more

I have tried so many salons over the years, in many different states, and Dani is by far the best nail tech I have ever had. She is more like a nail artist and understands what works best for your nails and how to take care of them. Now, I will never go anywhere else. The pedicures are amazing as well, and the shop is super clean and beautiful. Everyone I have met there is friendly, kind and provides excellent services and professionalism. Yeah don't go here if you want acrylics with any design. I called in advance for an appointment and was not walk in. She did not ask what shape I wanted or design or colors and just started working and acted extremely inconvenienced when I asked her to change the shape and what colors I wanted. Like she new what was best for me. On top of that it started to chip less than 7 days in, a full set with gel usually lasts me 4weeks. A friend and I were looking for a place to meet up after work for a mani and pedi and noticed all the great reviews on this place. The place is obviously new, very well decorated, and clean. The massage chairs, watermelon, and water was a very nice touch!! Overall my pedicure was good with the exception of absolutely nothing being done to the bottom of my feet other than a two second scrub. I know a lot of places in the area depend on the add on callus remover but I expect some base pumicing to be done without that also. Also we were there very late so perhaps this was why but I was not offered the add on treatment either - even though I'm probably always super in need :( The manicure was nice but I must have picked one of those chalky nail polishes and it bubbled a bit and bled into a lot of my nail bed. I pointed it out to her on one nail and she tried to fix it but unfortunately by the time I got in my car all of them on one hand were looking pretty messy! Overall I'm hoping they work out some of the kinks to ensure good work to compliment the beautiful place and service. They have some very nice touches but compared to some of the salons I frequent some hot stones and more massage time are things I really enjoy most that they could improve. I wasn't given the technician that I had requested over the phone for my appointment, she kept digging at the side of my nails even after I was flinching and asked her to stop. Very satisfied with my service here. I usually go to a different solan but my mother comes here frequently so I decided to try it out. I got a pedicure first which lasted about an hour which had me shocked. The massage was to die for, I enjoyed the hot rocks and the hot towel. All of those combined was definitely a great touch. Then I got a gel manicure, they were able to match the color from my toes which made me happy. The gel is staying on extremely well. I also have gotten my eye brows waxed here before without a nail service and I was extremely happy, the women who did my nails only took off what was needed and didn't make them too thin. Went here couple of days ago. I have this horrible nails before from biting and picking so i decided to get some gel polish and extensions so i can stop from biting it. Henry did a really good for transforming my nails. Just a couple of skin tears but at the end he put some antifungal i guess on it. I just wish they did 3 coats intead of two though. read more

Loved the service here! I went to another salon prior to my visit here and I was not happy with the acrylic overlay that salon did on top of my real nails. I endured the bad nail job for 2 weeks and decided to give GEL & SPA a chance since it was close to my job. Nancy did great on my nails. She corrected the mistakes made by the other salon (thickness and unevenness). She took her time and I loved the outcome. I took a star away because another lady did my pedicure (she did great, but I didn't grab her name) and I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to free up to do my nails because she had an appointment walk-in. I don't know anyone who wants to spend time in a nail salon waiting to be serviced on a Friday evening. I'll make an appointment the next time I visit. read more

Honestly do not know how this "nail spa" has 4.5 stars. I went last week FOR THE FIRST TIME and had my nails done by Miriam. I am a Licensed Cosmetologist, by the way, so I know the exact process on how getting a fill works. I had stopped getting acrylics and switched over to gel manicures to give my poor nails a break. But I decided after about 4 months to go back to acrylics. I live around the corner and decided to finally give this salon a shot. As soon as I walked in I saw how beautiful and clean everything looked. Appearance 100% !! The fish thank is beautiful and adds a hint of peace. But as soon as I sat down and realized the way she was taking off my gel, I knew she was inexperienced. She went ahead and had me soaking in acetone for about 20mins in individual finger soakers, then proceeded to FILE with a nail file - not a drill- thew rest of the polish off. She was constantly cutting me on the sides and she knew it was becoming painful and wouldnt look up to say anything. After all this she proceeded to glue the tips, lay the acrylic and then pick up the file again to shape, at this point I couldnt take it any longer and asked her to please use the drill, which she did...hesitantly. My nails look lumpy, they look horrible, no shape, nothing. she laid such a thin layer of acrylic that 2 have already broken on the sides after only 7 days. I dont recommend this place to anyone. especially after a $60 Full Set gone to WASTE. read more
