Excellent service. Clean and bright. My nails are always done to perfection and as requested. Always by appointment and never late. I love my pedicures as well (I forget her name but she's the co- owner) and she's does a great massage for my aching hiking feet. The pedicure chairs are also massage chairs. read more

Over priced and poor quality. I had the IBD gel fill and the tech, Stephanie was fast and sloppy. She slathered my nail in gel, didn't leave it in the uv light long and the final product came out thick. Maria gave me an awesome manicure. She filed and polished my nails perfectly. My nails usually chip right away, but they haven't yet. This was my first visit, so I'm not sure how the other nail technicians compare. The salon would only earn a fifth star from me if they focused more on creating a relaxing ambiance for guests. Soothing music instead of chit chat among nail techs, maybe a few plants...there are lots of ways to make guests feel more pampered without having to spend lots of extra money. read more

I am a regular at another fantastic nail salon but since I was pressed for time and this place was the closest, I decided to get a mani/pedi here today. My general thought about businesses in the services industry is...customer satisfaction/good service is paramount; greet your customers when they walk in, slap a smile on your face, and eliminate the attitude. The woman who serviced me must have been the owner or she just didn't like what she was doing for a living. She gave me attitude from the moment I walked in. She just had a bad attitude. During the pedi she didn't care to know what I wanted, when I asked her a question, she was not happy answering it, she was pushing, shoving, and pulling my leg. Once she finished my pedi, I told her I'd like to see which color (out of three) would look best against my complexion and she didn't like that. She asked me to place the plastic nails against my nail to see whether I liked it. Then when she started to work on my mani and started to file my nails, I mentioned I wanted a square edge on the nails and with attitude she says "see what I am doing! It's square!" I simply got up, said I will pay for the pedi, did that and walked out. I will never return. Attitude and bad customer service is unacceptable. The owner of this nail salon Al is upper SUPER rude and does not know how to speak to people. I went for a Mani and pedi and I had an appointment with Diana and someone else had to do my pedicure and diana didn't want to put 3 colors on my nails . She rolled her eyes and made a noise when I suggest it. Then Diana did not polish my nails properly and when I got upset about it. She WALKED away from me without telling me she was going to and someone else came to finish my nails. Al watched the whole thing and said nothing. I've gone to this salon before, however today I only wanted on Nail fixed and they declined me service. The tech stated they were busy and I should come back later. There were 5 people in the salon and instead of asking me to have a seat and wait a few minutes she told me not now. I'm extremely disappointed in today's short visit. Sat in the chair and the guy was so nasty to me because he didn't want to take the sns off of my nails that another salon had done. I just decided to take my stuff and leave. I have been here three times so far. Cons: The first time I went Nancy was my tech. She was very nice, but she was very slow doing my pedicure. While I enjoy a good pedicure, and wouldn't mind the extra time, this was a little too slow for me. She also did my nails, and while it looked nice and neat I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years so I know what they should look like. There were lumps where she hadn't smoothed down the acrylic. Nothing noticeable to others, unless someone picked up your hand and looked closely,but I noticed it. The second time was just for a polish change to the tune of $20. Talk about expensive. The bottle of polish didn't cost that much and you are charging everyone that uses your polish $20 a pop. A pedicure and fill with design cost me $65 No spa Pedi's offered Pros: The staff seems to all be very nice, except the owner. She is a bit rude. I inquired about a color on the color chart and she didn't want to answer me, but instead told my tech what she was saying. I have only had Nancy and Linda and they are really nice. Awesome pedicure and nail polish jobs If you show Linda a picture of a design she does it exact. Very clean Nice hot towel for your hands and lotion when you are done I will go until I find something better. read more

Horrible. Asked for a powered gel manicure; they didn't have it. Had no idea how to soak off the gel I had. Owner told me "this is why we don't do this." I told him my regular salon gets me in and out in an hour. The shape is horrific. Colors are basic. Charging $27 for a gel manicure meanwhile no name brand nail polish. No OPI, no Essie, no Color Match. Customer service as terrible as well. Go some place else. read more

Came in for a pedicure after work. They asked me if I wanted a manicure. When I was done with my pedicure I asked where I should go for my manicure and was told "We are closed" so now I can't get my nails in the same color. I was charged 45.00 for a pedicure which was not bad but very overpriced. I will never go back- there is absolutely no way they should turn a customer away especially after 2 different people asked me if I wanted a manicure. That's bad business. Extremely poor service, by this one Vietnamese lady. Other staff seem to be okay. She was rude, did not smile, did not acknowledge me, no type of proper greeting either, was rude, kept pushing my hand away forcefully & would not utter her English,......However it seems like she sure indeed spoke it. This is the 4th time I've gone here in the past 3 years ......& 2 out of the 3 times were bad experiences. I don't get my nails done a lot - but when I go maybe 4 times a year for a gel nail polish - I'm just going to stick to the Korean salon down the street as they are much more friendly, & have smiling faces. I will not come back to this salon, as most of the staff & owner seem rude & lack proper customer service skills! I usually tip well, but tipped low cause of her rude attitude. Awful. Not clean, overall bad experience. I came in with a full set already on and wanted to get a fill with gel color. I knew the set I had on already wasn't great but she didn't stop going on and on about how awful they are how the powder is bad. So now she pressured me into taking the entire set off and doing the UV light gel. I said fine. They came out awful and the UV light they used literally was burning my fingers I could barely keep it under the light. She wouldn't do the shape I wanted and i have 3 crooked nails along with cuts on my cuticles. She charged me 45 for the set and 15 to remove the first set. Overall 60 dollars for a bad and stressful experience. Every other customer that walked in and didn't know the techs personally was treated poorly. Completely not organized and not a good established business. DO NOT GO HERE read more

I just moved into the neighborhood and it was my first time at this salon. Diane was the lady who did my gel manicure and she was extremely RUDE! She kept forcing and pushing my hand down and away, rushed through the whole process, and gave me attitude the whole time. I couldn't believe she was treating me, a paying customer, like this! One nail smudged a little because she was forcing my hand a different way, and she rolled her eyes at me and gave me the worst look ever! After all this, I still said thank you, and she did not respond at all. What the hell! Well no tip for her, and I will never be returning! Do not go here! Save your money...drive down the street to Luxi nails. I am new to the neighborhood. I have been trying out all the new places. I did luxi two weeks prior and thought it was fantastic..but figured I would try this new place too. Well I am sorry I did! I had the young lady that needs to learn how to file. I do not have large or challenging nails..Just normal healthy nails. She was in such a rush for some reason..there was no one waiting...she brushed the file on one side and then on the other...by the time she got to the polish I had to have her go over every nail. I am not fussy..but the nails were worse then when I came in. Pedicure was ok...I paid for the hot stone..nothing special. She was so bothered to scrub the bottom of the feet....like it was a chore...I couldn't wait to leave and when I checked out she tried to charge me $11 dollars extra for my services. I will never walk into this place again..and I feel some what sad..because I could see the kindness of the gentlemen that were working there. The other customers seemed satisfied..but my tech was so bad and just not a kind person I will not be back there again out of risk of getting her. read more

I tried Vie Voo Nails for the first time after becoming dissatisfied with my current nail salon. They were able to give me an appointment right away and my nails were done by Kim (I am not sure if that is her correct name). She sits right next to half wall. I needed a full acrylic set since I had cut my gel nails down. I couldn't be happier! I was in and out in less than an hour and my nails look great!! I will never go back to UV Gel again. I've been here twice....the second time was because I went in the wrong direction and was pressed for time on lunch. My first experience was horrible horrible horrible. Don't remember her name but she sits all the way in the back on the left side (if you're facing the techs stations with your back to the foot spas). She never soaked the gel off of my nails, she used the spinner to the point I could feel the heat from it against my nails. I swear to you the next day my nails started to break they had no kind of support. 2 days ago I went back and sat at a different station. Jennifer was great. Reasonable prices and fairly clean. The tools were unwrapped right in front of me. My manicure is just ok. The person doing my nails was a little rough while trimming my cuticles. My main problem was that his hands were dry, cracked and looked like he had been doing construction. His nails were dirty and that's not a good look on your manicurist. Extremely rude lady and the owner, I told the guy I just wanted my gel removed he said it will be $12 and if I get a manicure with the gel removal it will be cheaper $20 I said okay let's do this. So this lady Diana something if I am not wrong some Vietnamese Chinesse lady stated doing my removal extremely rude.. No smile no greeting at all, kept acting as if she is doing me a favour and just doing it for the heck of it!!!! Keep pushing my hand away and forward with a force.. Didn't do any manicure just removed the gel and put new regular color with her extremely rude attitude and weird looks and charged me $20 for this Crap!! Right after me she started doing another American lady's color and was very sweet to her.. May I know why the discrimination?!? On my complain to the manager that I didn't get any cuticles removed or anything, is that suppose to be a manicure he went and ask that lady in their language and told me even if u calculate it separately it will be the same price !!!! I have been going to the Pierce Street location for at least 2 years and was pretty satisfied until last Monday. Was getting a gel manicure, had the old polish sanded off and the gel base put on and the manicurist (Tom) got up and started working on another client. No explanation, just left me sitting there until another associate got done with her client and he sent her over to me to finish. I think was extremely rude and as a result am really considering finding a new salon to go to. Plus, their prices have gone up a little too high for me. read more
