The nail tech immediately took me to the back and started on my nails. I normally get gel nails so I won't have to sit and let my nails dry. This time, I went with regular nail polish. My nails came out really nice. I was satisfied. The salon itself was nice inside. There were quite a handful of people, mostly getting pedicures. I sit in the chair and I waited patiently another lady got finished from doing her work and came over to do my feet. I told her that the thing that you scrubbed, the feet with have dead skin on it. One of the nail techs was doing someone toes , she didn't sanitize the tools or even get new ones , she put them under the counter before trying to touch my feet with the same dirty tools . After i told Her she will not touch my feet with it , Mimi came over rolled her eyes at me because i didn't allow her to use dirty tools , she then snatched the alcohol wipes out her tech hand told her not to service me and not To come back to the place . I went here for years! But after today, I was totally turned off! I went to the nail shop for a pedicure and full set. Before I even sat down. I asked can they do this particular style I wanted! Their response was yes! I got my feet done while getting my nails done. The nail tech that was doing my nails was unaware of the style I wanted, so I showed her the photo. So I want to start off by saying that I used to love going to this nail salon and they have the ability to do good work if they were to slow down and be present in the moment with the customer they are in front of, so I arrived at 9:20 10 minutes before they opened because I had much to do that day and was trying to avoid the rush. Well firstly, I was greeted with a request to throw away my yogurt, no hey hello or anything and I said okay thats fine but she demanded that throw outside. There's an abundance of trash cans in the salon but she insisted I throw it outside. No, biggie sao she goes on to loud cap me in front of other guest and say shes scared to lose her place in line so she doesn't want to throw her trash out even though that wasn't the case. We moved on laughed it off and she proceeded to do my nails. The phone rung and she answered while using the drill on my nails extremely fast. Suddenly she cuts my finger I tell her that my skin is cut and she tells me oh you'll be alright and PUTS GLUE ON IT TO STOP THE BLEEDING, so I asked her if she could at least slow down. Even making a joke about it trying to just laugh it off to get her to relax. She begins to yell, "I'M SCARED TO DO YOUR NAILS, I'M SCARED TO DO YOUR NAILS." As if I in fact had done her something. She recommended another nail tech do my nails but at that point I was crying and embarrassed that she had to loud cap me and say that she was "SCARED TO DO MY NAILS" As if I had threatened her in which I did not. She refused to apologize, in fact she actually refused to let the other woman do my nails because I was crying. I literally just had my finger cut, been accused of making someone too scared to do my nails(mind you I was no threat at all, I was laughing it off and I'm a 4'11 tiny little woman) and she expected me to be glowing and excited about someone else doing my nails in the middle of the altercation. Well my nails were started and I asked her before I left if she thought that was fair to me. She cared more about getting me out of the salon than making things right with a long term customer. Not only will I never return but I am pursuing this matter civilly. I had a anxiety attack because I was so overwhelmed and confused after the mistreatment.
