This is the worst place to get nails done. A 17 year old unlicensed "nail tech" did a full set of nails on me, but they fell off in one day. I went back and the receptionist (who is an owner) yelled at me and at first refused to repair the nails, but then the man (John - who is also an owner) told her to repair the nails. She was snotty through the whole experience. Then another nail fell off, so I had to go back the next day. This time I demanded that John redo the whole set, which he did. Back in the 80s, I was a licensed nail tech in my home town, so I know the dangers of having an unlicensed nail tech not knowing sanitation. In a few days, I developed an infection in my pointer finger right where the nail was applied by the cuticle with pus oozing out. For all of the above reasons, I cannot recommend this place for nails. I never made a complaint about a nail salon before, but in this case, I have a due diligence to inform others of the shoddy service I received and am now dealing with an infection. read more

The salon is nice inside and it looks like most people do a good job. Unfortunately, it was my first time and the person who did my pedi was awful. First, she overflowed the bowl.. water was everywhere.. then she clipped my cuticle and I started bleeding.. lastly it was the worst polish job I've ever had. Based on the good reviews of this nail salon, I decided to give it a try. I had a dip manicure done by Vivianne (sp). Unfortunately, when buffing the dip, she ground the buffer into my nail beds, creating a big dent into my natural nails. I told her that it hurt, but she apologized and kept going. While the dip held on for quite some time, the seriousness of what she did became apparent when I had the dip removed. All ten fingers have gouge marks in the nail bed. Obviously, these have to grow out before I can attempt anymore polish. Will not be returning and caution anyone before deciding on this salon. read more

I really wanted to like this place but my nails are awful and hurt so bad. I didn't catch the ladies name doing my nails but she made me bleed on multiple fingers. She filed my nails down so short and they are so uneven, they don't look terrible but i am in so much pain I'm going to have to rip off my nails after just spending $70. read more

The girl that did my nails last week was very sweet. Made an appointment for 5:30, they close at 7. Although, she didn't fail to mention that she likes leaving by 3. So why have appointment book open at 5:30? Anyway, I love how nice everyone was and the salon seemed clean, but my nails are horrible. Extremely thick, (gel) like the thickest I've ever had. I walked out of there looking like my nails had grown for a week already. Polish was not to the cuticle. Not even to the edges. She filed them after the polish was painted so you can see the edges of my nail where it was filed and extremely uneven. Not straight (had to file some more when I got home just to make them square/straight) Very uneven and a lot of bubbles in the polish. Now I've been getting my nails done for years. I've never spent more than 45-1 hour for a mani. I was there for almost two hours. Took forever but still somehow seemed rushed. Maybe because of the bad filing and shape. When he pulled out the powder and liquid, I questioned him-"is that gel?" He replied "yes". Well he lied. It wasn't gel and there was no pink and white. I asked for square, rounded edges and I got square--blunt square. He then sent me to wash so he could polish--LOL--the exact reason I wanted pink and white was to not have polish. Gel Nails - This is the very best service anywhere near the Villages - Nail Salons Near Me - Summerfield, Florida

This place is the biggest rip off for gel nails! The prices on the wall and in brochure are wrong. I went in this evening to get a fill and toe polish change. Toe polish change was $10 and the fill not full set was $20 then because I wanted the Gel Nail polish they added additional $15!!!! The polish was $15 extra and if you wanted a French style done with your color which is only half the nail painted was an extra $5. Did I mention the nail polish was an EXTRA $15!!!!! They advertise that you will get your own manicure set like a new nail buffer and fingernail file and your the only person that it will be used on. None of this happened. I saw them doing to some of their regulars but not once offered me one. The brush they used to wipe my hand off looked like it had fungus on it then the lady asked me to go wash my hands only in water. I don't recommend this place as they over charge you. Oh, I forgot to mention when I went in it took me going behind where the employees sit for someone to acknowledge that I was there. Then this lady that had not been there for months cause the employees said it out loud to her. She brought her daughter and friend and they were immediately sat and taken care of before me and I got there 17 minutes before them. It took 2 hours and 37 minutes for a fill and toe polish change. My boyfriend sat out in the car waiting on me and witnessed meth heads running back and fourth from the fish games to the woods and the security guard came out and searched their car. This is a nice area located just outside The Villages. I just hope I don't get fungus from this place. One more thing, the rude nail technician that was doing the lady that got there after me nails said quote on quote when I pointed out that they were charging an EXTRA $15 for THE GEL NAIL POLISH that NOTHING IS FREE IN LIFE!!! That was her response which I didn't ask for nor was I communicating with her. At a regular nail salon which I go to every two weeks charges for a fill anywhere from $16 to $20 depending on what you want. Toe nail polish change $5 to $10 but NOONE CHARGES EXTRA FOR THE NAIL POLISH. People the brand was OPI Gel Polish! You can buy any color from Ulta for $5.99 or less. My fullest with a toe polish change I got when I was in Cocoa Beach for my sister's wedding was $55 and that included the tip. Same service just not over charged, nasty or rude employees. I got a gel manicure here on January 3. The woman who did my nails was face timing the entire appointment and several times left the table. I asked for a square shaped nail and she started cutting the sides of my nails of and pulling them from the finger. I told her it hurt, she didn't listen. Some of the fingers started to bleed. (I've never seen anyone do that before to get a certain shape?!) She applied the polish on top of my cuticles and alot outside of the nail. It did not look good. Two friends where doing their nails at the same time and their turned out ok. So I guess it was just bad luck for me. My fingers hurt so bad for more then a week after the manicure.
