New owners and revamp of another nail salon in the same spot. Glad my friend suggested this place as I would not have returned to the other ownership. Seems like all manicures around the Villages are $17 now. I don't think that's ok to not have massage included with that nor luxury nail polish choices, but when you are feeling too lazy to drive outside of the bubble, what are you going to do? At least this place was more upscale than most and they offer nail designs and such. My technician claimed some of the luxury pedicures involved more feet massage time, but I like the option of paying $xx, a certain amount for a specific quantity of time. Then you know what you're getting. Me and my friend started out with $38 mani/pedi and both walked out spending around $70 on who knows what upgrades. read more

Haven't had a pedicure since March 2020 and desperately needed one. I found this place of business using Yelp. It was pretty close to where I was staying and had good reviews. I called to make an appointment for 12:45 pm. I got there a little early and waited. They called me back around 1pm to soak my feet in the tub of water. They did have massaging chairs but I couldn't find the remote since I was pretty much stranded in the chair with my legs soaking. Once the technician started it was pretty quick. She did an ok job. It was ok for a quick fix. read more

Not sure where to start. Made an appt for mani, pedi, eyebrow and lip wax. Got the #3 pedi over charged for that but it was relaxing. Nail colors I picked were not what I got. Got wax in my hair!! The tech cut my hair to get the wax out. Eyebrows are uneven. Could not wait to get out of there. read more

I love my nails, she did very well and was very patient with my requests. She even did a little snow flake and put snow style top coat over it for me too! Great service, clean shop, and quality work! Took my daughter here twice now, the first time we had tan, he told my daughter to have a harder design next time she came in. We went again and she found a harder design for him to do and he even made it even better with his own flair, great shop and they are all awesome here. Her nails the first time lasted a good month and she loved them so much she kept flying them back on since the they still looked great. read more

I have been going to Pretty Nails for a very long time. I've also tried a couple new salons that keep popping up, but I always come back to Pretty Nails, and I'm done looking around! The technicians are friendly, professional and very talented. Hanna is my favorite. She does a perfect French manicure and is very skilled at nail art as well. And the pedicures are heavenly!! I highly recommend this salon. The prices are average nail salon prices in this area. The salon is very clean and comfortable, and the equipment is sanitized. read more

Very accommodating shop, they offer water, wine or beer when you first sit down. I called ahead and they said to walk right in today. I was able to do a walk in with Tan. I changed my shape from almond to coffin and got a dip manicure. Very good job ! I thought the colors I chose would match better but that's ok thank you Tan ! I'll be back ! read more

I have not been here since new owners took over because I was afraid that the new technicians would be terrible. I went yesterday and found that many of the technicians I love and some new ones are working there. I have received one of the best manicures I have had in a long time. I was greeted like a long lost family member. It is always welcoming there. After going to other places I can testify that they are the best in the area. My only problem is I keep looking at my nails instead of working! read more

I went in to get a pedicure and was turned away. Nothing fancy, no painting my nails, just a spa pedicure. It was 5 pm and they close at 6:30 pm and was told no time to do it. They place was also near empty when I walked in so I see no reason to be turned away. They say walk-ins are welcomed, but that is obviously not the case read more

I asked for a $28 pedicure. Guy brings me menu I said basic pedicure $28. Guy said ok begrudgingly. Then comes out with the LED light and says this will help It dry faster. Fucking $42 pedicure because he did a no chip. I never asked for it. I explicitly said basic 2x. Pissed! Didn't feel tools were cleaned either. Would not recommend. Buyer beware. read more

I came in and was greeted by a friendly front desk girl and after that pretty much everything went downhill. The man who's station they sat me at was on the phone. He tried to hand the phone to me so I could read off an address for him since the person on the other end couldn't understand him. I didn't have a problem helping him but it's also not very professional of an establishment. They ended up handing me off to another nail technician and she was asking me all the normal questions. What do you want? What shape? Everything was an additional charge. I'm not used to this so I declined the service and asked for just the polish to be removed which was five dollars to begin with. Well, now it's ten dollars. I say fine and she starts SCRAPING the polish off of my nails. I spent months trying to get my nails back in a healthy condition for her to ruin them in five. Needless to say, I won't be back. Very disappointed based on the reviews. read more

In the middle of my scheduled gel manicure pedicure the technician started working on someone else. I made my appointment time which someone else now has cut into. So I would never recommend this place. I have never been to a place where I wasn't able to get the Manni Pedi together and not be left just sitting while someone else is being attended to like my time doesn't matter. read more

I've gotten pink and white solar nails done literally all over the country for the past 15 years and have never had such an amazing experience. In addition to free beverage service by a super chipper receptionist, my manicurist Michelle was amazing!! Took only 30 minutes (usually it takes over an hour) and she did a perfect job - at a reasonably price. Can't recommend Pretty Nails and Spa 2 enough! read more

I am in the Villages taking care of a sick father and had not had my nails done in over a month. I scheduled appointment and was seated with Tina who not only did a new set of nails with pink and white ombre she did an amazing pedicure all with in one hour and fifteen minutes. I am extremely impressed with her speed and quality. Will definitely go back to her when I can. read more

Took my girls for a mommy daughter pamper day at this salon and was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the entire staff was when dealing with my 6 and 4 year old. It was a great experience. The nail tech that worked on us was amazing. He did a great job on all of our nails. Kevan and the other staff are amazing. This is the first nail spa that I've been to in the area where I was not disappointed in the service, price and hospitality. We will be coming back for future nail services. read more

im sorry for my foul language but I'm 22 years old and work 10 hours Monday through Friday and I usually do my own hands and feet the one time I really needed a break from my own feet I come here, I called ahead of time to ensure someone could do acrylic just on my big toe and they said yes I came in and the lady who took care of me fucking sucks. she tried so hard to get me out of doing acrylic on my toe , didn't work I wanted it because my nails were super short . As she was doing it I could tell she didn't really know which I understood but it's overlapping on my damn skin and is not square shaped. Not only that but she didn't scrub or lotion my feet I requested no massage but she didn't scrub the bottom or anything all she did was snip my cuticles . Fine cool but BEING CHARGED 60$ for what I got is fucking outrageous but since I have the worst social anxiety i didn't say anything . This was on Friday. I came back today 2/28 to fix some toes because it was gel and it was already chipping and same "tech" drilled it off but left a piece of it sticking up on one toe . Seeing her paint over it and look at it and ignore it just because she wanted to leave with her friend pissed me off. I left mad and before driving off wanted to go in there and explain but I just couldn't so here I am writing a review that will most likely go no where.. I am so upset. this is the worst experience I've ever had. read more

It is now 2021 and my brows are just now needing to be retouched! The person on the phone was very understanding and polite and we rescheduled for the following Wednesday at the same time, 1:30 p.m. She had mentioned wanting to have a pedicure and since I'm new to the area, I wanted to give the place up the road a try. You know, support a small business, etc. When I was told that there was only one technician, I shrugged it off and was glad to give her the business. I would later regret that decision. We arrived right on time and there was another client, which normally I wouldn't care, but we had to sit in uncomfortable silence waiting. Mom is used to a salon with a lot of people working, like before COVID and I tried to explain that businesses have had to lay people off, or can't afford too many people. Still, I had a sinking feeling she would be disappointed and I was right. Since I come from a service background, I find myself continuously walking the tightrope between making excuses for bad service and excusing it. This was not bad service, just the perfect storm of our manicurist being behind schedule and my mom being extremely particular. The salon is beautiful and immaculate. "V" was extremely polite, professional and talented. But needs to manage her time better. We opted not to have polish, just a quick clean-up, then V suggested Paraffin for mom. I just kept agreeing to everything. The pedicure was ok, but there was no massage, which is half the reason I go. (I guess it's extra, but since we forwent the polish, I thought just even 5 minutes would be nice.) It was $90 with tip. Lesson learned, take mom to the spa, go to pedi alone.

Trina scheduled my appointment and took care of me. I was so pleased with the cleanliness, professionalism and results that I booked an additional appointment for another area two days later. That experience was equally satisfying. I would recommend Trina to anyone looking for a trustworthy person. The prices are reasonable. The employees are knowledgeable and professional. And as a bonus, the wax was great. Sounds weird but if you get waxed regularly you know quality wax goes a long way. Finally, while at my latest appointment, I found out that Trina also does facials so I think I'll book a facial sometime soon too!

It is now 2021 and my brows are just now needing to be retouched! I have also used Wax me and more for other services such as threading of the brows and body waxes, her spa is clean, calming and very professional (which is exactly what you want when having any kind of body waxing done). I would give Wax me and more 10 stars if I could, I highly recommend Vicki Millar.

I walked in wanting a full set of acrylics, and I got sloppy mess. The guy doing my nails was very…read morefriendly, however when I showed a picture of what I wanted he said he could not do it. Of course this isn't a huge problem but it was disappointing. He proceeded to just do acrylic with white polish as I requested but my nail lengths are uneven and not as I wanted them to be shaped. The paint job was the worst part. It's sloppy, all over my cuticles, and lumpy. The paint is clumped underneath the acrylic and the shapes of my nails aren't the same.
