    Toasted Coconut Chocolate Chunk (vegan)
    Harmonie T.

Kinda the highlight of my evening! Greeted immediately by the friendly staff. Menu clearly marked four dairy-free options. This shop restricts samples by a certain time in the evening (time unknown), but staff was nice enough to provide her recommendations. Small size can accommodate two flavors. So we ordered Mango Coconut and Toasted Coconut Chocolate Chunk. WOW! https://yelp.to/rRmcXx5imM The flavors rocked my world! These vegan options are made with a coconut base and the consistency has a bit of a stretchy texture. Perfect ratio of gelato to mixed-in ingredients (chocolate chunks, shredded coconut, bits of mango). I especially like that the chocolate chunks were chunky without being super hard to bite into. Small shop with about 3 tables. We were the only ones in there at 9:30pm on a Thursday. But then it became crowded just before we left. Absulutely a memorable sweet spot during our trip to Denver. I wonder if they ship to SoCal :)

Great spot for a desert spot along 16th street! We stopped here after dinner while on a walk for the evening and enjoyed a tasty treat. Services was friendly and the gelato was tasty. It's exactly what you expect and makes for a great experience as you are walking down 16th street area, There are multiple flavors to choose from. Worth stoping by,. The place is counter service. There are a few tables outside too, but we were just fine taking it on the go.

Small with Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch and peanut butter brownie

I stopped in here with a friend after dinner and while there was a line, it moved quickly. I had a small with Chocolate hazelnut crunch and peanut butter brownie; a small is 2 scoops so you can pick two flavors. If you want just one scoop they have an extra small. I went with a cup instead of a cone because it was so hot out and I envisioned ice cream dripping all over, but the waffle comes looked good. Both flavors were excellent. There is a fair amount of seating on benches in the area; definitely plan to eat outside as the place is pretty small and there isn't much room inside.

Happened to see this place on the way back from lunch to our hotel in downtown Denver and we were just in the mood for something sweet. We went in on a late Friday afternoon and there was no wait and the tables were completely empty. Staff were very helpful and friendly and you are free to sample as much of the gelato as you like. They have a regular waffle or a churro waffle and I was recommended their churro waffle and it didn't disappoint. Added layer of cinnamon sweet goodness (as I got it warmed) that went great with our 2 scoops of gelato. I got the salty cookies and cream and gooey butter cake with caramel. The butter cake also has a bit of sea salt in it too, so this was the perfect balance of salty sweet for me. The salty cookies and cream is mad with their own version of Oreos and is their newer take on the classic flavor. Definitely lighter and not as sweet. I believe they have dairy free and other dietary options for their ice cream, as well as cookies and brownies too. Overall, pretty good place to get some gelato!

It was super busy and crowded in there but we still had fast service. The gelato was fire - I had the salted caramel.

Very small place, but perfect for a sweet treat. The ice cream was good, waffle cone was fresh. It was a perfect treat that we ate outside.

We love how close this gelato spot was to our hotel in Downtown Denver! Gelato Boy was recommended to us, and the flavors were both classic and unique. Loved the creamy texture and chunks in the ice cream. Split small scoop was perfect night cap! Salty cookies n cream is an absolute must - not too salty and it's a fun twist on Oreo. The milk and cookies reminds me of the Ben & Jerry's flavors, with lots of cookies swirled in.

My friends and I were in the mood for gelato while shopping, so we popped into gelato boy. I like that they offer a variety of flavors and dairy free flavors. They also let you sample. I had the small lemon poppyseed and strawberry. Even for being dairy free, they were pretty creamy and had a good mouth feel. There is limited seating inside. Clean tables. I appreciated that the AC was on because it was a hot day!

Salty Cookies Cream & Milk and Cookies - unfortunately neither scoop offered much flavor or mix-ins
    Laura G.

Disappointed in the lack of creaminess and flavor in both my scoops - salty cookies & cream and milk & cookies. Don't think I would have been able to say what the flavors were if I didn't know ahead of time. There was also an absence of cookie pieces. I ordered a cookie and brownie and were thankful that they warmed them up, but again, not much flavor. They also didn't seem freshly baked or homemade. I'd opt for another gelato/ice cream shop based off of this experience.

I will never say no to a gelato/ice cream spot, especially during a hot weekend in Denver! I am a sorbet type person, so I loved they had a dairy free fruity option which was strawberry. I thought the flavor was very good and not as creamy as a typical ice cream, which I thought was exactly what I was looking for. If you're shopping around the 16th Street Mall area and looking for a sweet treat to cool down, I would recommend Gelato Boy.

This is a cute gelato spot right on the strip of 16th street mall. The customer service was amazing. They were so friendly and answered all my questions. My nephews are the ones who actually for cones. I just taste tested two flavors the flavor I first tried was the hot honey biscuit and it literally tasted like Honey biscuit with a kick (spice) as well as some little things of actual biscuit in it as well. I liked it a lot it was creamy and all gelatos are in house made the next flavor I tried was gooey butter cake and caramel. This one was probably my favorite. It was definitely gooey and you tasted every bit of all the flavors. If I'm ever in the area I'll definitely be back to try whatever the new flavor of the week is.

The three cozy pods were already occupied, but I was able to grab a seat at one of the two communal work tables, which gave me easy access to an outlet to charge my phone. They also offer free wifi. There were plenty of other seating options too, including lounge chairs and bar seating. They even have a billiards table! I ordered an iced London fog and opted for coconut milk, which is not typically available as a milk alternative. It came with vanilla syrup by default and was very good. I also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. This was the only disappointing part of my visit. It seemed like a premade sandwich that had been reheated, so the bacon was soft rather than crispy, which is my preference. Overall, Vibe Coffee & Wine is worth a quick stop, but it is especially nice as a place to relax, hang out, or settle in and do a little work.

I was going on a first date here so I didn't get a lot of pictures but they have a wide open café with plenty of seating so it was very comfortable. Overall, I like the vibe in vibe as in I didn't feel too overwhelmed, it didn't get too loud, it was a really great choice for our first date. Did someone say ceremonial Matcha? Hell to the yea!…read more I had bookmarked this place for our stay in Denver on our trek from California. We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.

I tried the Vanilla Latte which was nicely sweetened, creamy, and soothing. The espresso was pulled well and gave me the caffeine kick I needed to start my day. They have some bar seating here but the cafe also extends into the lobby where you can sit and have a slow morning if you choose. Good try!
