The man at the counter took the time to walk us through the menu and even let me sample a few flavors so I could find the perfect one. I unfortunately didn't get any photos of our ice cream, but honestly, that might have been for the best. We sat there quietly enjoying it, smiling ear to ear with every bite. The shop was still decorated for Christmas (we visited during the first week of January), which made the whole place feel magical. She shared her favorite flavors with us, gave us some tastes, but really went above and beyond a couple minutes later when she heard us dealing with a family problem. Raeka showed us kindness, empathy, and compassion. She shared some similar issues in her own family to show us understanding as we struggled with our problems.
