A nice change from milk or cream based products You'r price is based on how much your cup of soft serve weighs after you put on your chosen toppings, which there are plenty to choose from. Yogurtland is easily the best frozen yogurt spot in Denver. First off, they actually offer samples to see which flavor you want. I find it odd that a lot of other frozen yogurt spots don't offer that. Not that you actually need the samples though. All of the flavors are soooooooo good! I specifically liked the Alfonso mango and matcha flavors since I always get fruit for my toppings which they had a nice, fresh selection of (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, mangoes). I spend way too much time and money here. The lines are shorter in the winter and I am totally fine with that. It's fun to try all the seasonal flavors. I have been addicted to their Pineapple/Guava tart and also Dragonfruit/Passion tart flavors lately and I miss their Taro flavor that I haven't seen in awhile. My usual toppings are fresh strawberries, Cap'n Crunch, mochi-lots of mochi, graham cracker powder... and sometimes if I am going extra crazy I would add a little condensed milk. There are many imitations after Yogurtland opened but they will never compete with Yogurtland.. either not enough flavors to choose from or not enough toppings. Love yogurtland. Well, I love frozen yogurt in general, but Yogurtland is one of my favorite froyo spots, in spite of its uncreative name. Flavor choices are delicious. We don't have a yogurtland near us, so we aren't frequent visitors. I don't know how often they change their flavors, for example. Whenever we do come, there seems to be a good selection of fruity tart flavors and rich/creamy flavors. I especially love pistachio. Today they also had chocolate (malt?) milkshake and York peppermint patty... Both really good! Topping area offers lots of choices, clean and nicely presented. Great service at this location today. They turn off the hot fudge machine 30-45 min before closing. Been here a few times past 8 and the machine is off, they aren't open late by any means (9pm close), so to turn off toppings WELL before closing is super lame. read more

Yogurtland's better than Menchies but worse than Pinkberry. They offer a lot of flavors like Menchies does but some of them taste artificial or too sweet. They have cool spoons like Menchies as well with occasional fun ones like Kung Fu panda shaped ones or Hello Kitty shaped ones. We were there for like 15 minutes and saw about 12 people leave this place with A POUND of yogurt. They have fun seasonal flavors: dragon fruit, mango, coconut, etc. while having traditional frozen yogurt flavors like red velvet, double chocolate, vanilla cookies, peanut butter cookies, and etc. There was actually no line when we went but we also went on a random Thursday afternoon. The toppings are pretty traditional: candy bits like butterfingers, snickers, brownie bites, MOCHI (for those asians out there), fruit, pumpable chocolate syrup, etc. All in all it was pretty tasty. It's close enough to walk to, yet we never do... they have regular flavors, they have sugar free that actually taste pretty stinkin' good, they have tart, sweet, and I don't think I've ever ran into an issue with any of the flavors being out even at high volume times of day. Wow Yogurtland, after all that hype you really disappointed me ! This location is insane. They have the tiniest parking lot and we had to circle the block twice to find a parking space. We ended up parking over in the Starbucks parking lot (probably a no, no) . The line was practically out the door (which should be a GOOD sign). Once we picked out our cup I realized there were no sample cups. Where are the sample cups ? Way up at the front near the cashiers ! WHAT?! Get out of this 5 minute line to find my way up to the sample cups and then try and excuse my way back up to my place in line ? No thanks ?! Toppings were all over the counter and halfway missing . I get it they were BUSY but shouldn't there be an employee dedicated to the toppings area ? Yogurt was just so-so for me but husband really liked his. I used to work in a strip mall right next door to the first Yogurtland that opened in Denver (this would be at University and Dry Creek) and had the pleasure of speaking with the guy who was opening the place while construction was still going on. He kept ranting and raving about how good this frozen yogurt out of California was and how he just HAD to introduce it to Colorado. My experience with frozen yogurt at that point was limited to TCBY so I couldn't really understand where his enthusiasm was coming from, but he gave me some freebie coupons so I figured I'd drop by once the place was done being built. Well it ended up taking a while to try it because as soon as the door opened, Yogurtland had a line going out the door. I would pop my head out of my store, see the line, and scoff to myself thinking, "All this fuss over yogurt? Really?" Fast forward a few days later, I happened to catch them on a quiet afternoon and was able to walk right up to the self-serve machines. There are twelve machines in total, some of which service the staple flavors and the rest rotate flavors every month or so. The sweet flavors are so sweet and rich you'll swear you're eating ice cream (with the exception of the coffee flavor, which is a pleasantly surprising bitter like real coffee) but the tart flavors are really out of this world. I got hooked hard on the Lychee the first month and almost cried when it was taken off the rotation. The pistachio is creamy and wonderful; the cheesecake rivals Cold Stone. If there's an interesting new flavor I'll try it out, but weirdly what I like best these days is the plain tart with fruit. Oh and toppings: candy, seeds, nuts, fruit, syrups, even oddities like boba and mochi. And you can experiment all you want because they charge by the ounce - at 30 cents per, dirt cheap! This location at 5th and grant is my favorite now that I no longer work down south because it's convenient to get to, has pretty good parking for the area, and is never as insanely busy as some of the other locations. I like to go to the fancy Frank Bonanno joints across the street - Bones / Luca D'Itatlia / Mizuna - then after dinner, skip the fancy-ass desserts and hit the Yogurtland instead! read more
