Gelato. EXCELLENT. Tracing its roots back to FLORENCE, this Gelateria serves some of the creamiest Gelato I've ever tasted and their large THREE-FLAVOR CUP easily beats out a lot of their competition. RECOMMEND.
They were giving free samples outside and the guy had a thick Italian accent so I applaud the marketing there lol. Came inside and tried different samples before settling on 3 flavors. It is quite pricey for a small amount but at least they give you 3 different flavors to eat. The ice cream was a bit melted though and it wasn't that creamy so I was a bit disappointed. There's a lot of space to eat and chat here though which is great if you're hanging out with family and friends.
Whilst meandering, there was someone outside this store tempting passerby's with a sample of two flavours of ice-cream. So, I sampled and then promptly went inside to get said ice cream. Says it all! I recommend.
everything was really yummy ! the gentleman was super cheerful and kind , cracked jokes with us and let us try some of his favorite flavors. a great late night snack ( they are not stingy w the serving size )
Absolutely delicious gelato. So dish and creamy. They have a large selection of flavors and so many good options - it's hard to pick! The gelato tastes just like Italy and is some of the best I've had in the states. The employees were kind and helpful as well. Highly recommend and will be back when visiting!

I had just purchased some birthday cards and I knew I had to get them in the mail before the post office closed...but where to sit down and write out six cards! And then, walking towards the post office I spotted Gelatoville. I recalled reading about it awhile ago and had heard good things so I stopped for a small treat and a place to sit and I'm very happy I did. First, I have to say the service was over the top great. The young lady working I think wanted me to taste everything. She made sure I had a taste of her favorite, which was a white Rafaello (maybe I spelled that wrong) which was amazing. I got a small milk chocolate gelato, which was actually a very rich dark chocolate that satisfied my chocolate cravings for a month. My husband had pistachio cream and tiramisu and they were also both excellent. I regret that this is so close to our apartment because I feel we may be going there more. No shade to the Venchi across the street from where I live, but Gelatoville is my primo gelato spot now.

Got the Ferrero chocolate and orange flavors in one small cup~ this was ok, but the consistency felt more like a regular milk ice cream versus a gelato. I had much better elsewhere but it was an ok choice. Inside had plenty of tables and seats with cool air~
Wow! This place rocked! I loved all of the options, and they let me sample a couple before I made my decision. All of them were awesome, but the pistachio one blew my mind. I'd definitely recommend stopping by to grab a scoop or two!
The gelato was pretty good but not amazing. The gelatoville and cherry flavors were good. Shop is also pretty big inside.
My new fav gelato spot in neighborhood. They have alot of flavor options but their options are also really interesting- Loved their passion fruit one. My friends tried trimisu which was good too- Good hangout spot!
Fun dessert spot in Hell's kitchen. $10.25 for four scoops of gelato. Two of us got this to share and I think that's the move. Some decent portion size. It's very flavorful and smooth and milky gelato. I really liked it. The pretzel Gelato was absolutely my favorite. I feel the price is a little steep. I'd probably rather go to Anita gelato, which is close by. Lots of fun flavors to try here.
I stopped in for the first time the other night. It is a very large space which doesn't look big initially but extends very far back which supplies additional seating. The selection is extensive and the staff was very pleasant. Like everything else in NYC, a small cup, which they consider to be a regular is $8.75 but they do pile the gelato on. I ended up getting a cup of straciatella [chocolate chip] and I was looking for coffee gelato which was not available but they did have cappuccino which was a suitable alternative. It was delicious and they topped it off with a tasty cookie/wafer. The restaurant is very clean as are the restrooms. it was a pleasant experience and i would return and do recommend.
Absolutely heavenly on a 90° day! The portions are very generous, and the flavors are incredible. Even the small size lets you pick two flavors for under $10, which is a great deal. The pistachio is a must-try, easily one of the best I've had in a very long time. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. They also have plenty of seating, making it a perfect spot to cool off and escape the summer heat. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby. read more

RATING: 3.5/5 | Good amount of customers, as it's located in the busy Hells Kitchen neighborhood. I didn't care too much for the gelato here. It more so resembled ice cream to me vs stiffer, denser gelato texture. I liked that they allowed customers to try as many flavors as we wanted. I ended up getting their Medium cup, which came with 3 diff flavors. I chose Raspberry, Mango, and Pina Colada, which meshed well. Staff here weren't super friendly and a bit off putting, which tainted my experience a bit. I personally would opt for a diff spot for dessert, taking everything into consideration. However, the location is convenient. read more

This place has become a must visit for me during every trip to NYC! I love the kind service and DELICIOUS flavors. I have yet to taste a flavor that wasn't out of this world. A perfect place to end a long day in Times Square. Also, for vegans... the vegan flavors rock! read more

Stopped by Gelatoville and loved it! The Bueno flavor was my favorite. It was rich, creamy, and so good! The strawberry and pistachio were super yummy too. Portion sizes are really generous, which was a nice surprise. Such a great gelato spot in Midtown West -- would definitely go back! read more
Wastin' away again in Gelatoville... Such a nice treat after dinner, especially if you were at a restaurant without a substantial dessert menu. It's great that you can pack in so many different flavors. Gelatoville: The eponymous flavor is definitely my favorite. I think it was some sort of apricot jam with chocolate. The flavors were just bursting! Glad I got this one top. Amarena Cherry: A classic gelato choice for me. Love the contrast of cream vanilla against the tart and sweet preserved cherries. Who needs a cherry on top when you can have a bunch mixed it. Strawberry Cheesecake: Nice for texture, since you get lots of cheesecake pieces mixed in the ice cream. Though not as flavorful as the rest. Pistachio: The only disappointing flavor. Didn't have a strong pistachio taste. Seemed heavily dyed green too. read more

Every time I come here the gelato looks runny and melted - and the servers can't understand basic English. They have a convenient location in the Times Square area, but there are so many better gelato options very close by. read more

Went in for a quick sweet treat and left with gelato being my new favorite dessert! The gelato was so creamy and rich i was in heaven. The employees asked us many times if we wanted samples which was helpful since we'd never been to a place like this. I payed $8 for 2 flavors and decided to get both of them Ferrero Rocher! read more

The gelato from the place is pretty good. When there isn't a long line rushing, the staff are very friendly and eager to help you. It is a nice little cozy area to eat some gelato when it was hot outside and there are quite a few flavors to choose from. read more
Super energetic and friendly staff, many great flavours, and very tasty and fresh gelato! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. There's room to sit in the cafe. If you're not looking for gelato they also have cakes and pastries. Loved the bueno cream and the brownie gelato. read more

What a cute little spot! I love that they have so many vegan options for me! I tried the vegan cookie crumble hazelnut and vegan dark chocolate. Both were delicious! They have other fruit flavors like strawberry and mango. Also a good spot to study with multiple areas to seat and outlets easily available. read more
Listen, the tables might be messy and the seats might be limited but the gelato is good. A scoop is more than enough for one (and very splittable for those who don't have a sweet tooth). I got the Ferrero Rocher and it was heavenly. Perfectly chocolatey, with a bold hazelnut flavor. read more
I was on a week long trip to Vermont and NYC during which had several failed attempts at treating myself with some good icecream. Finally, I discovered this during my late night walk on the last day. Really easy to spot the place, parking probably not that easy to find around this place. I took a subway, so I can't say for sure. Ambiance is really chic, interesting and clean. I really liked the place the moment I stepped in. The people at the counter were all very nice and friendly. I got dark chocolate(vegan) and mango(vegan). They were both very exceptional - really loved the mango flavor. They top the cup off with a wafer like cookie. Liked that as well. Will be back when I travel back to NYC in the future. Definitely recommend it! read more
Wow! Amazing gelato! Even better free! Grand opening. Complimentary cup of gelato today 5/31 and tomorrow 6/1 for all customers. Extremely friendly Turkish staff wearing cute white t-shirts, overalls, and bandannas. Not too sweet, very creamy, and utterly delicious! The pistachio, hazelnut, Ferrero Rocher, and mint chocolate were all excellent. They also have many vegan options that tasted great. This is their second location, original is in the East Village. It may be one of my new favorite gelato shops in NYC now. read more

Great new gelato place in Hell's Kitchen! I got a medium sized cup, which comes with 3 flavors (3 generous scoops) for $8.25, which is a pretty good deal considering the size. The gelatoville flavor was my favorite, as it had a nice unique orange flavor with some chocolate bits. The cheesecake was also delicious, with some strawberry pieces/jam in there. The tiramisu is good if you are a fan of this classic dessert. The gelato in general had a nice creamy consistency. This place only opened up a couple weeks ago, so it seems like they are still working on the decor (somewhat bare in certain parts of the shop, but generally has a bright-colored environment). Along those same lines, it kind of smells like paint inside, but can't really blame them for that. There is a casual vibe inside and the staff are super friendly. Overall, Gelatoville has very high quality gelato with some good unique flavors (including plenty of vegan and non-vegan ones) and friendly service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dessert in the area! read more
