Hired Tim in the summer of '24 to conduct an appraisal in support of an appeal of my SF property…read moretaxes. I chose Tim & SFBAY-RE from a list of others because he's a licensed certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in the state of CA and has over 15 years of appraisal experience throughout the Bay Area, with a particular focus in San Francisco. He provided the appraisal in plenty of time to support the Sept '24 submission deadline. Two days before I was set to appear before the Appeals Board in May '25 the SF Assessor's Office contacted me and agreed with the assessed market value that Tim established in his appraisal. Based on the current FMV that Tim provided I will be receiving a substantial credit for tax year '24 and the new property tax will result in a considerable savings going forward. Tim was easy to work with and very responsive to my questions throughout the entire process. I was particularly thankful for the guidance he provided in preparing for the Appeals Board meeting.
