I would not recommend going here for a pedicure unless you are getting gel nails (usually turn out fine with minor flaws) but I opted for regular polish this time and it was like no one had taught this person how to paint nails. three coats of thick, uneven paint gooped onto my toes. there was maybe three minutes of dry time before she put the too coat on, creating an even more messy look. she then shooed me out of the chair without any dry time, and before I'd even left the store the nails looked like crap. Aside from the absolute garbage paint job, the leg massages feel like someone sanding your leg up and down non-stop- there's no actual massage technique. if it weren't for the massage chair i wouldn't consider it "massage included". I am now on my way to buy my own nail polish after spending $50 on an absolute TRASH pedicure. 0/10 won't go back. I wish I could put pictures in this review.

My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! I found that my feet felt better doing it this way than having my feet soaking water first. Definitely coming back for a pedicure again as well.

Don't you get gel nail polish to prevent this? I have never had a gel manicure of such poor quality. And it's not like I was going cheap; the manicure was ((edit: I had put over $100 in an original review, and in fact it was $79.33 with an additional $25 spent on cuticle oil)). I had upgraded the gel ((edit: I did pay for a more expensive gel and expect any gel in a manicure not to bend when you touch the end of your nail)). I will not go back as I don't like my nails breaking to the point they hurt. I had 7 / 10 nails break so low on my fingers that it hurt, and I am gentle on my nails. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I was really happy that they had availability on the day of. The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The service at the front desk could be much better. The guy working there didn't look up from the computer while talking to me. He was more friendly when I was paying, but I still felt like his behavior earlier was a bit rude. They didn't have a lot of the gel colors that I usually go with. When I finally picked one from the swatch sticks they had out, they didn't have that color either. I picked another one and was told they didn't have the matching regular polish counterpart for it, so I had to quickly pick a similar color. I did a gel manicure with the spa pedicure. I'll start with the pedicure. The callus treatment was done with virtually no pressure. It was like my nail technician was simply going through the motions. She trimmed my cuticles a little bit, but didn't push them back at all, and did very minimal filing. The hot towel felt nice, but she left it on for a long time after it cooled down, so there was just a cold, wet towel sitting on my calves. The polish came out pretty streaky, and there are areas of my nails where it's not opaque at all. For my gel manicure, she didn't push back my cuticles either. The polish was applied far from my proximal nail fold on most of my nails, so they already look grown out. You can see in the pictures I've added. Also, the hand massage was less than a minute long. I was replying to some messages on my phone, so I saw the time when she started and when she ended the massage, and the time on my phone didn't even change by a minute. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done as a treat for finishing finals, and many of my friends had great things to say about M. Vince. Also, since this is a more high end salon, I was expecting my experience to reflect that, especially given the price. I'm sadly very disappointed with my visit. I hope that it was just a one-off thing, because I would love to have a great nail salon close by. But based on my experience, I am wary of returning.

Upon entry, I was warmly greeted by two hosts, provided slippers and a robe, and guided to sit in the pedicure room. The host gave me a glass of ice water, a heating pad for my neck, and the option of aromatherapy oils. My nail tech, Taylor was intuitive and friendly, sparking conversation in appropriate times while also allowing silence and relaxation. She took her time to ensure my pedicure was how I liked it, and didn't rush the process whatsoever. The only thing I didn't love was the chairs don't recline or massage, but the atmosphere and ambient music made up for this! They also have a sauna that you can end your visit in as a cherry on top.
