Since moving to Boise area in 2014 and in the "before days" of covid19 business interruptions we had our SUV detailed annually at a local dealer where they did a great job. But in 2020 that came to a halt and we also put a lot of 'dirt and grime' outside and in miles on the car with frequent trips back and forth to Central Oregon to care for an ill family member between late 2019 and mid 2021. So starting with a vehicle that had not been detailed in over two years, Jordan did a fantastic job and it was so convenient to have this done right in our garage. There are four levels of detailing and a menu of the work done in each can be found at their web site along with pricing for various vehicle sizes. It was supposed to include a carpet clean so I asked him to give the front carpets a little TLC and that he didn't have to steam clean the floor carpets in the backseat. He was supposed to be there several hours so I was going to leave work in time to meet him there to check out the job and pay him but he called me an hour and a half into the job and said he was done. He said my carpets look great and he wanted to get paid. I took it in good faith that he had cleaned my car like we had talked about so my husband paid him $300 cash. When I got home and checked out the cleaning job, I was mortified. He didn't clean the interior of my car at all. He forgot to vacuum a lot of it, and didn't put any cleaner on my carpets, he just steam cleaned them. I paid for a full service and what I got was a front floor carpet clean for $300. I got a hold of the owner told him I was disappointed and that I wanted either him to come back and finish cleaning it or give me back half my money. He said he would call me on Friday and I never heard back from him. I texted him again yesterday and asked him to come back and finish cleaning my car and I still have not heard back from him. He made mention that he was going to take my cash and go get a new tattoo which he obviously did in lieu of cleaning my car. Highly disappointed in the treatment I got from this business owner and even more disappointed in the service I received. These pictures are after I paid $300 to have my car cleaned. I would NOT recommend Idaho Express Detailing to anyone.

It was very easy booking Kellen, our appointment was only 3 days out from our booking date. Kellen arrived right on time and after a quick vehicle inspection, he was off and running. Our Cadillac's paint is black and had some swirl marks and scratches. Our interior had some minor scuffs on the plastic and leather seats. Kellen did the most amazing job removing all of the swirl and scuff marks. 99% of any minor scratches were buffed out. The black paint looks like a mirror now. It's absolutely beautiful. He's absolutely right, he said our car will look better than it did on the showroom floor. I will say this, we have purchased our fare share of new cars. We brought our vehicle to In-depth…read moreDetailing just before Christmas last year and were "sold" on their PPF solution as the very best of the best solution to 100% protect our car. Being told it had an industry leading warranty. Spending nearly $3,000 with the understanding that this was the very best product to protect our car and again that it had a phenomenal warranty. Fast forward not 5 months later and there is significant damage to the hood of our car. Going through the PPF and damaging the paint underneath. From what you ask, a rock. The one guaranteed thing we were sold on couldn't damage our car with this PPF. Upon taking the vehicle in to see what they could do. They offered to replace it with a new piece for upwards of $800-$1,000. Stating it wasn't covered under the warranty. Or they could cut out a triangle or square from the hood of the PPF to lay it flat. Thus not fixing the problem, only leaving the hood exposed to more potential damage. I asked why this wouldn't be covered under the warranty we were sold on and was told it just basically is what it is. The warranty ONLY covers manufacturing defects. Meaning it doesn't do a thing once they put it on the car. You're just simply out the money and have to hope damage doesn't occur like we've already experienced. I was referred to speak with STEK themselves who led me down the same rabbit hole of no options without spending even more money and being told I should be grateful for all the damage I can't see since I have this PPF. Frustrating yes. Disappointing even more. Unfortunately we got the short end of the stick and are left with a product that doesn't do what it claims to do. A shop that cannot help come up with a solution that takes care of a customer and what's even worse I have damage to my brand new car. Avoid being scammed like we were. They are phenomenal sales guys. I'll give them that. But when it comes to a problem, they don't stand behind what they sell or install. They quote policy and take no action to try and work with customers to find solutions that are at a minimum of what they are happy to sell you on in the beginning. I would recommend avoiding the shop.
