Hi Dr. Tu. This is bitter sweet but I wanted to let you know about your employee who was the receptionist on the phone on December 3rd. She was very unprofessional and she laughed at us with her coworker and didn't try to hide it and then hung up on us. Maria and I both left a voicemail. Hopefully she didn't erase it. She also gave us a name but I'm almost positive it was a fake one. She wanted me to come, and pay for a visit because I told her that they made a mistake last time and only gave me a 90 day prescription when you ALWAYS give me a one year. She wanted me to come down and pay for another visit (of almost $100) and wouldn't understand that it was a mistake. She even had the gall to say that doctors have a right to do it. So I said in the 10 years he never did it and it was a mistake but she insisted I come to the office, wait, and pay. She kept doubling down to come to the office and said I could not talk to you but she would leave you a message. I didn't believe she would hence the reason I'm writing this review. So I went online and got a prescription and my meds for half the price of going to your office and spending half a day there. I went there because of you but your employee and the girl that worked with her that day on December 3rd left a bad taste in my mouth. If you like, you can call me and I will take this review down. Please talk to your employees because they are costing you business with their attitude and they seem to not care that they are hurting your business. You deserve better human beings working there that have compassion for your patients. Not someone who is just there for a paycheck and wants to make life miserable for other people. I have been seeing Dr Tu for 30 year, and yes he's a great Dr but unfortunately lately he never shows on time, there are times when I have to wait three hours in order to see him! Now let's talk about the staff including the assistant nurse, I have never seen such unprofessional people! The doctor is very down to earth. My complaint is front desk. It is horrible. Rude, unprofessional, ignorant and not smile. We are not robbers. We are customers. That's why I move to another doctor now. read more

Doctor Tu and his team, are professional, friendly, and very caring. Tu is extremely knowledgeable, always lining up with online research conducted by myself. I have been going to Doctor Tu in the 2010. I don't understand why some people are giving him bad reviews. He is compassionate and understanding and tells you how it is. Don't come here, everything is Terrible. Before I coming, I called them to make appointment and the front desk told me we Don't need to make appt. And then when we come, I waited like over 3 hours, first two hours they said doctor is on the way. The third hour he still looking the first patient, yes, I'm the second patient and still waiting 3hours. Good experience for me first time coming. Front desk is rule and just give you like mean face. Never come to this clinic! I been waiting here more than 1 hour! But the doctor still not show up! And the front desk told me it is normal! Excuse me? If the doctor can not be here on time, or he can not be here during the business hours, then you guys need to take the appointment! If I can give 0 stars I would.. I have been a patient here for more than 10 years The people in the front desk are soo rude they shouldn't be in this field. And when I switched they were making it hard for me to switch doctors. Christina I think that's her name should NOT work in any medical field jobs!! She is so rude to me, my mom and my sister. I do not understand why she is still there or why she is still working in this field. No matter how nice you ask her a simple question. She answers all of us with a bitchy, rude and mean way. Dr. Tu really needs to change his workers they are all rude! And never helpful!! Again her name is Christina! And there is another girl too that has glasses. Both are very rude!! And should never! Work in this field. Even now when I have switched to another doctor my sister and my mom are still dealing with Christina and the girl with the glasses. It is truly saddening to see all these negative reviews and files against Dr. Tu. I can only answer for mine and my family's experiences with him and this clinic, for the many years we had been a part of their clientele. I can say wholeheartedly that he had always been a jolly, caring, knowledgeable, and kind physician. I believe he always does whatever he can for his patients, and never, as other reviewers have claimed, had he ever given us medical advice that was contrary to what we should have done. There will always be disgruntled people over things like wait times, limitations, and other things the doctor or staff cannot control, who need a place to vent and damage that person or organization any way they can. Unfortunately those are the reviews that post more assuredly than the probably countless others who have fine or better experiences. read more

Case# 09-2009-200735... Dr. Tu has been placed on a 5 year probationary to practice in the State of California. Since my visit today, I can attest that his establishment is currently involved in insurance fraud and extortion of patients. If you are a patient at this facility, please contact the California Attorney Generals office to file a complaint. Since the majority of the patients are in the Chinese community of Los Angeles county, do not be dissuaded to file a complaint and demand reparations for unjustified billing, excessive wait times, unnecessary tests and misdiagnosis. Dr. Tu has been given the opportunity to respond prior to posting this review. His non response can only be perceived as further admission of guilt and evidence of continued malpractice. If you have any type of acute medical condition I urge everyone to avoid this facility. For current patients, please find another physician for a second opinion. It's with regret that I must write this review since as a person Dr. Tu appears to be friendly and sincere, but as a physician he cannot be trusted and should not be trusted. read more

This office takes forever they don't take appointments and there's only one doctor. I left Work because I wasn't feeling well and I got here at 430 it's been over two and half hours and I haven't been helped yet. read more

Dr. Tu is caring and experienced. You can always see him on the same day. He gives more details than other doctors. Good Doctor.

When we first called the doctor, the front desk said we can just walk in and don't need to make a reservation. When we there, the front desk said the doctor will come back in one hour. so we wait for one hour, two hours and doctor was still on the way according to the front desk. By that time, there were 20 more people are waiting outside. We tried get a quick lunch outside, so we asked the front desk can we come back later. The front desk said we have to wait in the line again if we leave. So we asked for refund for our credit card, the front desk said it will charge us 5 dollar for refund from credit card. This is first time I've experienced if you ask for refund, they will still charge money for credit card?!!! Wow....they are good! read more

The receptionist was rude and the waiting...OMG, total 3.5 hours we had to wait from the moment we checked in. Christina the one answering the phone was super rude. The doc ordered a shot to be given and now am feeling sick so I need my test strips for glucose since I'm diabetic. I told Christina that she was being rude . Her response was ok. She did not care about it at all. This was a shot the doc ordered and for them to not care is bad all around. read more

Do not come here if you don't have whole day to wait. Here since 7:35pm and still not seen by doctor at 10:15pm. Went to restroom and they skip on you to next patient. The front desk person did not want to help and did not know the patient sequence and calling out of order. Keep on saying you are next, but you actually aren't. read more

Yes, I really surprise this office still open, the worst customer service, only five people in front of me, and I total had to wait like 3 hours, they don't take appointment , we saw doctor just walk around and chatting with other their employee, good luck for you guys if you coming, you guys have to spend a lease 2 hours stay here. what an experience. i had no idea that appointments cant be scheduled because when i called in they gave me and my family an appointment date and time! why tho? we got there on the date and time we were told to, there were 5 people ahead of us and then my family waited 3HOURS. tbh when we finally saw the doc, he seemed cool, jolly, and quite talkative. my mom rambles on alot and he very patiently listened to everything she had to say. with that being said, that may be why he takes way too long with patients. i actually looked up his yelp page, his probation statement thing, and the LA times article about his wife during the 3hour wait and yo yikes. my family and i only went in for a check up so we dont have any illnesses or need any medicine/drugs of any kind so i cant speak on how doctor tu is like on diagnosing or prescribing meds. read more
