I asked them to investigate further in case the problem returned, but they declined, saying "there's nothing we can do." They never entered the home, never inspected anything, and only briefly stepped out of their van into my driveway to talk to me before leaving. At no point during the scheduling call was I told there would be a service fee. When the techs arrived, they made no mention of a charge, nor did they provide any kind of invoice or paperwork before leaving. I later received three bills by mail, each demanding $130, with no explanation of what the charge was for -- just a warning that failure to pay would result in the account being sent to collections. I did not believe the charge was warranted and disputed it in writing via certified mail with return receipt, which Universal Electric received and signed for. They never responded. No follow-up, no phone call, no documentation -- just silence. Eventually, they turned the matter over to a collection agency. It's frustrating to be billed for a visit where no service was performed, no agreement was made, and no information was shared upfront about potential charges. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Universal Electric.

I called DP Mobile Welding about powder coating my lawn furniture, which they don't do, but Darren told me who could. As an afterthought I decided to ask about my sink. He could weld it in my kitchen without removing it and destroying my island! It only took him about 30 minutes! No more crack! He did a beautiful job, and didn't make a mess! I'm very pleased!
