Yes this review is being made 1 year later. I went on their website and I was interested in a bmw they had for sale. I entered all my information and a while later gus called me asked me how much I had for down payment, I told him I was willing to put $6,000 down he says ok I'll call you back let me check and see if I can pre approve you. He calls back says look I have a way better car for sale also a bmw. I loved the car it was really nice and clean. So I drive all the way there. And the car isn't even there. So I still end up doing all the paper work gave $6,000 down for a car that I only have seen pictures of. I know stupid me... They gave me a loaner car I had for a couple days finally the bmw was ready for me to come pick up. First couple days everything was ok then I noticed a lot of smoke coming from tail pipes. I took to bmw in Murrieta they informed me yeah we recommend a whole new motor. $35,000. Never going to happen so I contact Gus he's like bring it back we will take care of it for you.. I get there and Gus has me talk to another guy who was not even trying to make it right with me I basically had to tell him I would pay half of the cost to fix this car I just got. For $6,000 down. He finally agrees they keep the car supposedly took it to be fixed I highly doubt it.. cause car still had smoke coming out tail pipe. And check engine light came on driving back from picking it up here we are now a year later and the car has giving me nothing but problems. I visited this dealership looking for one car but ended up deciding on another. They were so helpful to start. Well there weren't any banks open to complete my purchase when I was done. Even though I planned to put a very large down payment, we couldn't come to an agreement on a monthly payment. So he said he would speak to someone when the banks opened the next day so we could discuss getting the payment lowered. I was to return to the dealership the next day once everything was agreed upon or so I thought. Well the next day I spoke to the finance manager and his response was since I wasn't there in front of him the banks aren't willing to negotiate anything other than the payment that he had told me the night before. So I guess he was butt hurt because I wasn't sitting right there in his presence, so he wasn't willing to call any of the banks to see about getting a lower payment for me. Although the car was overpriced according to KBB and they even put in a higher price than they had the truck lister for. That's what happens when you deal with Mom and Pop dealerships. They try to get over on you if you don't watch out. So that deal just wasn't meant to be anyways. And that was their loss on a sale. With such a large down payment I don't have to chase anyone down to get a car. And I actually purchased a vehicle the very next day from a large well known dealership. I signed up for their online application process which included putting in my SSN. I had to call them three or four times for no one to give a straight answer on their process and when I said it's a lot of misinformation, the guy who works in their finance department said "misinformation? No. Misheard, yes" flipping the script on me like I'm some kind of idiot. I gave this place a chance even with all the bad reviews but I should have just looked passed it and tried a different company. Emailed the guys at generation 1 with a strict Budget on a suv they had for sale. Told them what I was willing to spend, not a a cent or two more. didn't want any funny surprises, extra fees, etc once I arrived. x amount out the door and that's it. They Told me to come on in. They didn't mind letting us test drive the vehicle on the street and on the freeway. Came back started to do paperwork. Lo and behold price we agreed on was respected not a cent over. gus and the owner are super manipulative people and sold me a car that was flooded and/or had the engine swapped. when i test drove the car, it ran good for the most part. no leaks, smoking, rattling, or hissing. car handled great and felt like a solid car. no obd codes or lights were on during the test drive and car fax were clean. worked out the deal and drove off the lot with the car. after driving 15 miles started noticing strange electrical problems. check engine light would go off and on every few minutes, cruise control would flash on and off, lights in the car would flash. also the engine started bogging really bad after about 4k-4.5k rpms. NONE OF THIS WAS PRESENT DURING THE TEST DRIVE. the next day i took the car back to them and tried to talk to gus about getting the money i put down back. at first they said they were only going to keep $750 from the initial down payment. after gus made the contract another $500 fee was tacked on. to get myself out of a lemon i agreed to it. These guys are shady and not good people to do buisness with. buying a car can be an emotional process and they will take advantage of you during said process! steer clear and buy private seller versus this sketchy small dealership! if i could give -5 stars i would. read more

I bought my car and paid full cash there almost 3 months ago. At time of purchase the car seemed normal. Within the same week I bought the car, while driving to work, the car broke down. I towed it back to them. They took about a week or so to "fix" it. At time of picking up the car, I asked if they had the work order in hands for me ( they had been advised several times that I wanted the work order ). They made excuses and told me they would provide via email. I requested in written several times. They never gave the work order. The car continued to present issues. I sent an email and a letter proposing to send the car back and they cut me my cashiers check. They not only didn't respond in written form, they called me once. I sent an email requesting us to continue communication in written form. They never responded. About 3 weeks ago, within less than 2 and a half months of buying the car, this car broke down again. So far I've towed this car 3 times in less than three months. 3 different mechanics from reputable businesses have inspected the car and they all come to the same conclusion. I was sold a car that is rotten under the pretense of being a decent car. Which in essence is a fraud. I've tried to have them taking back the car and giving my money back or fixing the car themselves. Not only they refused it, they accused me of threatening them. I am moving to the lawful way and I suggest anyone who has ever had issues with this business to do the same. Do not sit on it as these people are extremely dishonest and they know what they are doing. This will take some time, but I'm about to have this business held accountable for their fraudulent practices. read more
