Deborah has been amazing to work with. I really appreciate the time she put into my first appointment to suggest what needed to be changed and altered. We had a great experience picking out the dress but from there it went south fast. Several months after selecting and paying for our dress it finally came in. Super excited we went for a fitting and found the dress to fit like a glove everywhere but the bust. Not by a little but by and amount the ruined the dress completely and would have made it the most uncomfortable day ever trying not to have a breast completely fall out. It was so distasteful for what should have been a very happy day. The girl helping said nothing even though my daughter was near tears. I went back later and purchased some fabric to completely remake the top of the dress and speak to the manager. No help at all - just here's your dress have a nice day. She insisted my daughter wanted a size 4 no matter what - how does that even make sense. She has had many elegant dresses that have needed to be taken in and she understands that process very well - she also understands you can't just let it out if its too small. One of the things she liked most about the original dress was the coverage - but as with most dresses that a size 4 girl tries on they had the back pinched together to fit and the top had more material. The job of the shop is to get you the best fit - if your bride is saying she likes the coverage you let her know her measurements area a size 4 but you are ordering a larger size so she will have the coverage she loves in that dress. Thankfully we have an excellent tailor and she completely remade the top of the dress. This sale could have been salvaged with a good review but just really poor customer service, communication and accountability. I would love to post pictures but my daughter would be very upset to have pictures like that posted.

I live in the Washington, D.C. area and knew I wanted to knock out some dress purchasing while back home in the St. Cloud area during the winter holidays. We tried Celebrations first, but the selection there was quite paltry. Carrie Johnson had many more dresses and my consultant was great -- not pushy and just the right amount of attentive and energetically helpful. She was able to pull several dresses in my budget that fit what I was looking for. Would recommend trying for a weekday. We went on a Tuesday and the whole experience was laidback and not at all rushed like I've seen while helping other friends shop at places like David's. Highly recommend!

I am NOT exaggerating when I say everything has gone wrong at every turn. I am the groom with 6 groomsmen. Every single persons order is wrong. Items only arrive 2 weeks before the wedding. There is ZERO customer service to fix their mistakes. 45+ min hold times to get to outsourced phone reps who say they fixed the problem, but nothing is fixed and you have no ability to fix it yourself.
