This is a great place to visit. Lots of really neat displays with a gift shop downstairs.read more

This is a cool little museum in a cool little town. It's a little on the smaller side, but it's got…read moresome cool history about the original founders. Upon walking to the entrance, you're greeted by a large anchor, a big motor and an amazing view of the water. A perfect place to snap some photos or just sit and take in the scenery. Entrance is pretty cheap: $4 for adults and $3 for children, seniors and students. Not too bad for a short educational experience, but be warned: It's cash only! Inside you'll see original pieces of the town and duplicated setups of the area's most popular spots like the hotel, ships, bedrooms, and more. They have signs at each spot for you to read and understand what you're looking at. I'd recommend checking it out if you've walked around the rest of Port Gamble. It just gives you a little bit more insight and sort of pieces everything together for you. The lady at the counter was great about providing some additional information if you needed any elaborations and even told us that they do paranormal tours during Halloween. More of a reason to come back, even though she hasn't experienced any hauntings herself. After the tour, they have a gift shop upstairs as well as a cafe. Just gives you another opportunity to fuel up and take in some of the sights. We came during a rainy day and the views were still great. When the sun is shining, I'm sure they are even better! Parking is a cinch. Plenty of free parking all over the area.

A definite must stop is the General Store. It is huge inside with a cafe, museum, restrooms, ATM and tons of gifts. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around this town. We had lunch at Butcher & Baker Provisions, and it was excellent. Their cakes and cheesecakes are delicious! Highly recommend stopping here while in the area.

I was in! Upon arriving, seeing the beautiful old houses, a cute authentic general store, and amazing views of the sound, I couldn't wait to explore it further. Plenty of parking, I headed down to check out the beach, on the way seeing that during the summer season, there are kayak rentals (another reason to return) what made the beach interesting, besides a ton of seashells, was that it was adjacent to where the town in the old days had their dump and landfill, so over time, the old glass was finding its way onto the beach, Cool stuff! A little bit like the glass beach near Fort Bragg, Cali. Definitely enjoyed walking through the town, appreciating the buildings and houses and history. They have guest houses for rent, there was a wedding going on, so that's another venue available, lots of gift and art shops and a cute Tap House I'll review as well. A fun historical place with great views of the Sound to add to adventures in the area. God bless and Cheers!

I'm here to review the things that actually matter during a hotel stay: * Bed size & comfort * Pillow game * Shower facilities * Towel game * Amenities that stand out Now then ... Jen and I sleep on a Queen bed at home, so every King-size hotel bed arrives with one simple promise: "This better be an upgrade." Thankfully, The Point Casino & Hotel delivers there. The pillow-top mattress absolutely carried its weight and made for a comfortable night's sleep. BUT. Why are we still doing square pillows in 2026? C'mon now, Point. Get it together. Decorative pillows are one thing, but these felt like geometry homework sitting on the bed. Now the shower game? Surprisingly strong. The rainfall-style shower was easily one of the standout features of the room. Ours even had the dual-head setup -- a standard shower head plus a lower horizontal shower head that can run simultaneously. It felt less like a hotel shower and more like I accidentally unlocked a spa side quest. Towel game? Respectable. Not luxury-resort fluffy, not sandpaper gym towels either. Solid middle-of-the-road performance. Amenities-wise, the room leaned modern: * Plenty of USB and power outlets exactly where you want them * Large TV * Comfortable lounge seating * Clean, updated feel throughout Now, for context, Jen and I were there for a grand total of 9.5 hours ... and roughly 8 of those were spent asleep. That means the hotel accomplished its primary mission successfully. One important note, however: this is an old-school casino that still offers both smoking and non-smoking areas. If you're sensitive or allergic to cigarette smoke, keep that in mind before booking. Unfortunately, my fiancée's allergies flared up pretty badly during our stay, so it's worth considering if smoke exposure is a concern for you. Final verdict: The Point Casino & Hotel understands comfort better than it understands pillow aesthetics. Strong shower game, solid bed comfort, modern amenities, and a room that did exactly what we needed it to do. Those square pillows, however, are committing hospitality crimes against sleep posture.

First time review. I don't usually have a problem here and for the most part my experience has been…read morepositive. I think the casino is great and has a beautiful hotel. However, I'm disappointed about yesterday's experience. I have come to The Point Casino several times and for years. Recently I have been coming more frequently and always try to use my players card. So obviously I'm not new here and don't look suspicious. Therefore it was odd yesterday night to be approached while I'm playing Rooster Unleashed in the non-smoking room and asked for my ID. I asked why and was told because I look underage. I showed my ID with no hesitation. A part of me thought it's a compliment since I'm in my 40s and they think I look young. But then another part of me felt uncomfortable and questioned that after I left. I play that same machine frequently and to be honest I feel it was more targeted. Not going to play the race card either. I always try to look nice and well mannered. So it was just weird to have that happen. I prefer to not be bothered when I play and since I have invested a lot of money here. As a customer I don't want my experience ruined or made to feel worried that I will be hassled if I return.
