She called ahead letting the staff know she has a gag reflex with stuff put in her mouth. She reiterated this with Tom. She has zero issues with our dentist. When it came time for the treatment Tom put a 'catch' in her mouth so nothing would go down her throat which caused her to gag. Tom's response? Oh stop that! WTF? It's a reflex. It's not controllable! It went downhill from there. Tom was very condescending towards her. Totally dismissive of her feelings. Showed no patient care. Spoke down to her like she was a child. He gloated over is 25 years of experience, and how no one has ever gaged under his procedure. Oddly, all of the staff apologized for his behavior when he wasn't around. Zero respect for Tom and his ability to administer patient care with compassion. His ego gets in the way. Avoid if you have *any* issues with dentistry.

Our 8 year old son has had major oral-motor and oral sensory issues since birth, and I never thought there would be a day where he would allow a dentist to go near his mouth, but Dr. Balaban has been his dentist since our son was 4, and has been amazing with him. A visit to my regular dentist, Mark Stevenson, proved unfruitful: He wanted to give me something to stop grinding and refill a cavity--the cavity that turned out to be the tooth that needed a root canal. I know this setup and payoff sounds kind of like a Wayne Wright commercial (probably lost on people not familiar with the tv commercials for the lawyer in Texas), but thank God I stumbled on Dr. Anderson and his team at Keystone Endo. My dentist had said he was going to refer me, but didn't end up, so I Googled an endodontist, praying I could get treatment before my head exploded. Keystone Endo's offices look brand new; they're done in calming shades of blue and brown, and even have a Keurig in the waiting room so you can make yourself all kinds of coffee and tea. When I was brought back to the examining rooms, my very proficient nurse figured out the problem in a matter of minutes via their quick, digital xrays and some sort of -30 degree dry ice type deal they put on your tooth to determine which ones are dead. They started treatment right away, while I was watching television. The pain was gone that night; I didn't even fill my antibiotics or take more than a few advil, and office members have called to check in with me several times since. Specialty dentistry is so expensive and SCARY that it's important to know that you're spending your money with someone who knows what they're doing and cares about their patients. Dr. Anderson's team fulfills all that and more. Makes the holes in my teeth and wallet feel that much fuller.

However, an irritating molar turned into a giant infection, I had to go. My dentist referred me to Dr Warren. By the time I made it to his office it was necessary for me to begin taking antibiotics. The dreaded root canal procedure was scheduled and I sat in his chair with his friendly staff doing everything they could to comfort me including, holding my hand. The office is beautiful with big windows looking out to a pleasant pond. The procedure itself was incredibly fast and painless. I was offered laughing gas, and a mild sedation. My only complaint was Dr Warren doesn't do the crown after the root canal. He has a very gentle touch. I highly recommend. I had an emergency with my tooth on a Saturday. Dr Warren reached out and offered to meet me at his office at 8:00 PM Saturday night! I told him that it wasn't that important and instead I could meet in in the morning. He met me on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM! I don't know any doctors who do that. He goes way above and beyond and provides extraordinarily excellent care for his patients. I love the fact that there are no roundabouts to get to this office, and it was a straight shot using my GPS. Bryna was the best assistant, so kind and funny. This was in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic and quarantine! Obviously, when I got to them I was in extreme pain. But I also was dealing with the added anxiety of the pandemic and quarantine and all of that on top of it. The staff were understanding, worked with me on some issues and questions that came up, and were all friendly. On top of that, it was one of the cleanest dental procedures I've ever had. I think of root canals as being scary and painful. They took care of it with no real lingering pain and in good comfort.
