The whole place when you walk in they're very welcoming - as a guy you understand the stress of going into an unfamiliar barber shop not knowing what kind of cut you're going to get, but he made it easy and got the exact cut I wanted, the whole time chopping it up with you genuinely seemed interested and made the time fly by. You can tell he's been cutting hair his whole life, he understood the difference in hair styles and growth of different peoples hair, which I feel a lot of people do not understand that not everyone is the same. Fortunately, John is located in High Point, which is a short trip for me. I found and booked John on Booksy and arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. Barber Edge is located in a house facing Green Street and has plenty of parking in the back. John is a great guy and I especially enjoyed the conversation. He is incredibly detail oriented and asked me questions about my hair style and skin care regimen that I quite honestly had never given much thought. On top of the great cut and shave, I learned a lot as John had some great advice and recommendations. Not in a salesy way, mind you, but in a way where you can tell that John genuinely cares about his clients. I left Barber Edge looking great and feeling much better than when I walked in.
