Boyfriend swears by Georgey, which is a big compliment because the bf is super picky about his hair--Georgey takes his time and makes sure your hair is just right. My dad comes here to get his hair cut and he likes it. They have 12 dollar Tuesdays which I feel is a pretty good deal. You can get a hair cut or a shave or shapeup here. The inside has a good amount of seating to wait, either if there is a line or if you are just waiting for someone like I am right now. The barbers are friendly and listen well to what you want. The music inside is very relaxing. If you are looking for a good mens haircut this is a nice place for you. They also sell random stuff like sun glasses, hats, and wallets. There are posters on the wall with different cuts if you don't know what you want. There are also tvs to watch and an atm machine incase you need to get out cash. I have been going to this barber shop off and on for about 4 years. This time it seems that it will be more off than on. Unfortunately, what I have experienced at this place, has happened elsewhere. Barbers that are so used to cutting everyone the same, that it's hard for them to break the habit when someone throws them a curve ball. If I tell the barber don't use less than a 2 razor and he does, is a problem. If I tell him to leave the top more full with more volume and he continues to cut, is a problem. If I tell him not to use a razor above my eyebrow and he still does, is a problem. He cuts both African hair and white hair the exact same way. Really? I speak Spanish and the Dominican providing this service should be flexible enough to do what is requested. If he can't, he should get another job. read more

One of the employees irritated my skin severely by applying too much pressure with the device that cuts hair. The skin on my head was very raw immediately after the haircut and moving my head was extremely painful. Besides the irritation the haircut itself was mediocre because the barber did not put forth his best effort in cutting my hair. I love it. They take their time and never rush. Appointment timings aren't always exact but good enough. Tuesdays are a bargain. I get a haircut and beard trip and its usually 23-25. Tuesdays are about 5-6 bucks less. Very busy on weekends, try to stick to weekdays. read more
