Mr. Jack Berner handled handled my divorce and custody case for me, and I'm very grateful for being in his and his staff's good care during such a frustrating and painful time. Jack is honest, straightforward, and no-nonsense. He is "real people" as they say. Divorces can be a lengthy, drawn out and very expensive process. Jack Berner and his team did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. The very first day Jack sat me down and diagrammed out the various ways it could go and the expected timelines for each path. He was upfront with his costs and answered all of my questions. While I wanted to work things out with my now ex-wife amicably, he made sure that I was prepared in case things went sideways. There were times when things felt like they were being drawn out but one has to remember that there is another lawyer on the other side of the table doing their thing, as well as the court bureaucracies to deal with.
