Bought a car here and then the next day they said the title was wrong so it will be a week. Ok, we paid for a rental car. Then, they said it would be an additional week. Long story short it's going to be a month and they couldn't care any less. They sold a car with the wrong title, it's their fault. We didn't plan on paying for a rental for a month. Sad part is, they knew it would take a month to correct the title and they keep saying another week, stringing us along. I went to look at and drive a Genesis G90 on Sunday. I was working with Nick. I expressed interest in purchasing the car. The car had less than 30K miles. We even appraised my trade in the deal. I had asked Nick if they would fix the dent in the rear bumper, and if the car could be certified. He said the CPO people are not available on a Sunday. He would check on Monday. On Monday, I was informed the dent would be fixed and that he was waiting on the CPO. On Wednesday morning, I received an email from CarGurus at 5:54 AM that the car was sold! I did not even get a call or notice from the dealership! Since it was before the dealership opened, I texted the dealership. I received a response that someone came in Tuesday and purchased the vehicle. They further told me that the car had an open recall and was not able to be certified?! Shouldn't I have been told this on Sunday by the salesman this piece of information? Its obvious that the sales process has some issues. Someone is not keeping the client or front line people informed. I have called to discuss twice, and not received a reply. I would have expected a higher level of integrity from a Genesis dealership, but maybe not. It is still a car dealership. read more

Genesis of Framingham completely failed me. Waited a week for a valet pickup, rearranged my life -- then got a last-minute call telling me to drive myself. No apology, no respect. Then spent over a month fighting for answers, only to be told "staffing shortage" like that excuses everything. No accountability. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. On my second visit to the dealership, and with an appointment, the salesman was unprepared for my visit. The vehicle I was interested in was not easily available and when brought forward, it was covered in tree debris. If I hadn't had an appointment I would've understood, but that wasn't the case. It made me feel differently about the car - the bloom came off the rose! Also, the salesman tried to convince me to lease the vehicle, and then pay it off shortly afterwards, claiming that would work to my advantage since the incentives are geared towards leasing. That makes no financial sense to this CFO. Lastly, the manager took 10 minutes to explain why the Kelly Blue Book trade in value was not a reliable number. At this point I had had enough and left. As it turns out, the KBB is EXACTLY the value of my trade based on other offers. read more

Brought my week old new to me car in for service. Not happy with the results of bringing my car in for my first oil change to get a scratch on my quarter panel. Pretty disappointed. This is why I stay away from Dealerships. Today proved my case and makes me want to steer clear of Dealerships to bring my car in for service. I have no problem paying for services but returning my vehicle with scratches that I did not do is not ok. Then looking at me crazy about a scratch is absurd. The car is 68k car and they treat it like a cheap beater hyundai. These Genesis are high end and shows that they do not respect the cars they equipped. First impressions are everything, They need their techs to follow standard operating procedures and use fender covers during service to prevent scratching up any car. Clearly this did not happen. This situation is totally unacceptable especially for the tier of cars they carry. Only reason why they will be fixing the scratch they produced on my car because I took a detailed 4k pictures/video walk around at drop off before they took my car in. Doing this helped me prove my case, they looked at me like I was crazy over a scratch on my new car. There is/was no initial walk around with customers and service reps before service. This is why you should always protect yourself from any service and record everything as I did. Lets see how this unfolds as I bring my car into a body shop Monday. I have a feeling this will be an on going battle, ball is in their court. I have enough evidence to prove my case. This is such a disappointment because I love the car but hate the crappy service these cars get. They need a better dealer network. read more

Do your self a favor and GO ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE. I made a service appointment to address a recall on my G70, showed up on time, and specifically asked whether they could take care of the recall. They assured me they could. It was over an hour and a half later when they bothered to tell me that they did not have the replacement part needed to perform the recall service. read more

I called ahead asking if they had a specific model Genesis to test drive. I told the man who answered the phone 'exactly' what model I was looking for. He assured me 'yes we have that model, come by'. He outright lied. They did not have one. This was way out of the way for me which is why I called first. If I could I would give NO stars. Whoever just took ownership of this company should be ashamed . Wasted 3 days of my time and couldn't even sell the car to me. False promises, no communication and drop the ball every step of the way . This will go down as worst buying experience. They don't care about your time as a person.
