I waited to write the review since the COVID-19 pandemic was in full force at the time of my initial query. While I was very disappointed to have not received any responses to my initial inquiries, I was VERY impressed to have received a personal response on Yelp within minutes of my posting my original review, apologizing for my not having received any responses, and asking for supplemental information so that they could investigate and try to find a root cause. They checked their systems and couldn't find my contact attempts. Their demonstrated concern for potential customers was very evident, as was their professionalism in taking the time to write a thorough and thoughtful response as well as their desire to find and fix the root cause. I'm not sure when or if I'll be in the market for a mortgage broker service again, but if I am, I'll definitely give Green Mortgage Northwest a shot before I contact anybody else based on their excellent response.

Difficulty with Bill Pay when a check they sent to a vendor was intercepted by someone else. The experience in trying to get the necessary info, and finally get my money back wasn't the best but it did got done so that's good. 2. eStatements never show up until 2 or more days after the first of the month. It's now Thursday, December 4 and I still don't have my November eStatements. I'd say this is my biggest pet peeve with Unitus. I also use First Tech Federal CU and I get my eStatements from them on the first, unless that's a Sunday.

THIS WAS MY RENT CHECK. Long story: went to this OnPoint. I used to sell cars and on point does a lot of loans in Oregon so I chose them as my secondary bank after my main bank stopped having branches in Portland. I was recently leaving town so I had my rent put into a cashiers check before I left so I knew it was safe. Unfortunately, I left it on the table, and it was thrown away during a cleanup by my roommate. I was very understanding that this was my fault when I got to on point. I was hoping they could fix it quickly but was understanding if they couldn't. My teller let me know that the general rule is that they can't look into anything until 20 days have passed, however he would schedule me with a manager to see if they could do something. I waited for 30 minutes (no expectation for time was set) while I could hear the ladies in the office behind me coming and going and talking about lunch. After the 30 minutes, I was finally seen by the manager and she let me know There was nothing she could do as it hadn't been 20 days and gave me the math on what 20 days would be as if I hadn't already done that 30 minutes ago. I (understandably) inquired as to why I waited if it was gonna be the exact same answer that the guy at the desk gave me and she let me know she was at lunch and that they actually can do something before 20 days if they deem the reason good enough and actually said that she would've done it if I had told her that my partner threw the check in the fire. I immediately let her know how absolutely disrespectful she is, to tell me that my reason wasn't good enough when I'm telling her that it is destroyed and that it is my rent check is incredible. So I drove to another onpoint and told them that the check had been destroyed and that it was my rent check and they made the right calls and had a new one cut for me in 45 minutes. They even made sure that I would promise that if I found the old one I wouldn't spend it and I would shred it., which is really ironic after a woman refused me because my check wasn't destroyed enough. These people were told that it was absolutely destroyed and they still treated it like it might pop up. Shout out to the OnPoint by Ida B Wells high school, they are completely worth the time.
