We compared them with others both in the Waldorf area and the "big box" stores and their materials were better in terms of cost and quality. The installation costs were better than others as well and worth every penny. 3. Fantastic quality of work. The crew that came in and installed the flooring were extremely detailed and were very meticulous about putting the furniture and other items back where they found it. 4. They are a local business. We like to buy local to help out our community! Our experience: We first started looking into Carpet and Floors Market back in May close to the beginning of the COVID pandemic and we were looking into having our entire first floor re-done with hardwood laminate. They had just re-opened their brick and mortar store in Waldorf when we contacted them. We looked into them because of all the positive reviews they had, plus the fact that they were a local business and they did not disappoint! Kevin contacted us and was prompt, polite/friendly, and was safe. He measured the whole area masked with booties to make sure to keep my family and himself protected. The quote he had given us was the most reasonable for materials a labor. As I mentioned above, we shopped around and they were the best. We ran into some issues with our bank (completely unrelated to them) and it ended up taking longer for us to schedule Kevin and his crew to begin work. I had emailed Kevin 4 months later asking if the quote he had given us in May was still good. It was, and on top of that, they were still honoring the promotion they had as well (despite the fact that the promotion was long since expired)! The most surprising thing was that Kevin actually still remembered us when we contacted him again. Fast forward to the installation, and the crew that came in worked super quick all while remaining very detailed in the quality of their work. They were slotted to complete the work in 3 days for about 1500 square feet of area. They tackled an awkward pantry, half bath, laundry room, family room, formal and regular dining room, living room, and kitchen all in that timeframe. We didn't even have to move anything as the crew moved and replaced everything when they were done. They took particular care to ensure that our belongings were covered as to not get dusty from the work. We had other contractors come in to fix some electrical and pipe issues at the same time, and the crew was able to work around them without causing any delays! All the trim had nail holes filled and trim around the baseboards sealed to make the quarter-rounds and baseboards look like one seamless piece. Our overall experience with them was so great, we'll be going with them again for our stair and top floor hallway project in the future - no hesitations at all! If you're looking for top quality service and quality detailed work, you'll definitely get your bang for your buck at Carpet and Floors Market.

I didn't receive it. The doors on every cabinet were defected. They we literally coming apart at the seams. The owner of the business failed to return my calls on countless occasions. He finally showed up on three different times promising to fix everything. It took nine months a countless phones calls to the owner, his staff and to the actual cabinet make FABUWOOD before I could get the doors changed out. As far as the opening that is to small, he refuses to to relacethat cabinet because he says it would could him to much money. Then he started asking for proof that I ordered a cabinet with a larger opening. The former sales person never placed the spice rack or the cabinet in the contract. This owner does not stand by what he and his sales people sell. I would not recommend purchase anything from his business. I was showed one thing by the sales person and got something else when he quit.

They even did some extra work with cutting an HVAC toe kick ithat should have been put in the lower cabinets and covering up wires that needed covering. They made sure the cabinets were secure and level and opened and closed properly. They also did a great job securing and leveling the bathroom vanities. I really appreciated the detailed analysis of what needed to be done and what the cost would be to fix each of the problems. The installers, Todd and Connor, were friendly and professional and clearly had done this kind of work for years. Using Ray's Touch to resurface my cabinets and install quartz was the best decision ever! We looked…read moreat three other contractors plus Home Depot. The other contractors just didn't feel right. Most wanted to replace my cabinets all together. Ray was very careful with my property. He taped off everything and routed air through the window to remove all dust. He removed my cabinets doors and took them to his shop. My kitchen was very dark. You can't tell what it used to be. Ray and his team were very efficient and on time. The work took one week. I neglected to read my contract carefully. The contract says all fees due in full before delivery meaning before Ray brings your doors and new countertop for installation, any balance must be paid in full. You pay in full beforehand. The new door and new countertop install is the last step and only takes a day. I was concerned about paying in full before the last step was complete and I voiced that concern. Luckily, Ray is a man of integrity and all went well! Ray even installed a wood base at the bottom of one of my cabinets because the bottom of that cabinet was ruined. My dog had bit an end of my cabinet and you can no longer tell. Ray removed any signs of wear or tear in my cabinets. Ray also left behind the paint color of the new cabinets in case I scratched or mistakenly damaged something. Ray's office manager was very professional and his showroom is very clean. They have a large selection of granite, quartz, colors, etc. Everyone on Ray's team was very professional, friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Ray has a very direct pricing model that does not include haggling or negotiation. He does not negotiate his pricing. He simply puts his best pricing forward. This saves so much time! I appreciate that.
