She was very helpful over the course of a few hours, showing us multiple dogs until we found our new forever dog, William (Tick)! We had visited the humane society a day before, and it was just a totally different environment, and I am very happy that we were able to find the Valley Humane Society instead. This is a place where you can tell every volunteer working loves what they do, and that's helping animals back to health and then off to their forever homes! I traveled over an hour and thirty minutes to visit, and I will happily do it again when the time is right!

They are friendly and playful with the dogs while being 100% attentive; it is obvious they love what they do. Everything at the ranch is squeaky clean, very well maintained, air conditioned and on schedule. During my dog's stay team members would send daily updates and videos of our boy which put the separation worries at ease. I left my dog at DPO in AZ City for 10 days recently, but had left him prior with no problems. One…read moreday before pick up, I received a call from a boy telling me my dog was sick and had diarrhea and blood coming from his rectum. The boy stumbled to speak and down played how sick my dog was. We picked him up the following day and we couldn't believe the bad shape he was in. He had to have been sick for days!! We are getting him tested by the vet, and are hopeful he will survive what happened to him. They postponed a grooming appointment to make him look better before we brought him home. This dog should have been left alone because of his condition. The grooming job is terrible but I am not surprised since he was so sick. I attached a picture at the time of pick up below. Shame on this place and will never return or recommend. Owner should have called me, not some cheap hired kid with no experience. My dog was definitely not cared for properly and I suspect owner struggles to keep or get good help. I will update with the diagnosis once tests come back. Stay away from this place if you love your pet. Wish I could rate 0 stars.
