Nidhu Saini - The worst, most arrogant physician (with no backing to be arrogant) that I've ever encountered. When I was choking on a dental dam during a root canal, she scolded me and said that I would have to come back to finish the procedure at another time if I didn't calm down. She was clearly annoyed. I am the most compliant patient who NEVER complains. Don't go to her. She must move around to different practices because of the disgusting way she treats patients. Over all this is a decent dentist to go to. Its important though, to have insurance, and find out before how much insurance covers with various dental procedures. This dental place is very particular about , which insurance they take, and which one they don't take, and the amount covered by insurance, and what you have to pay. Probably a good idea to have good dental insurance before you go to a place like this. read more

Great experience! First time in the office, they took all my paperwork and X-rays from my other dentist for a referral with the Oral Surgeon. Dr. Lakkis took into account all the obstacles I had to get another appointment and fit me right in for a full 4 wisdom tooth extraction. Two of which were impacted. A few years ago when I decided to go to the dentist after a long "hiatus", I was terrified. From the welcoming and friendly receptionists, to the thorough and gentle dental hygienists, everyone made me feel at ease. I have had extensive work done, from fillings, braces, and now I'm going through a dental implant, and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with the results of every procedure. Drs. UPDATE**** Avoid this place at all costs. My root canal actually failed and Dr. Kaplan refused to fix it. He claimed that it was fine and didn't need to be worked on again. My regular dentist refuses to cap and seal it because he said it was still infected. I ended up going to another dentist and had to get the entire tooth removed because I would need to pay for an additional root canal that he believed would fail again due to the severe infection the past one caused. Avoid gentle dental. They're horrible!! Just got done with a root canal and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Kaplan is amazing. I was so afraid from past experiences with dentists and I was dreading the root canal. I didn't feel a thing! I left laughing from how hilarious Dr. Kaplan and Sandy were. Was going to another gentle dental in NH, walked in for a cleaning, while waiting they were telling a customer that he owed another $400 for a implant that he paid in full for because they charged him the "insurance rate" and not their rate even tho his insurance didn't pay for any of it. This is when I started to feel uncomfortable so when it was my turn I asked some questions. I was there for a regular cleaning which is covered under my delta dental, I had previously gotten deep cleaning at my old place which was additional charge. so wanted just what was covered they said well the deep cleaning was recommended before and they needed to do X-rays also, I told them I just wanted a cleaning and was told they had to talk to dentist, dentist came in, after being explained I just wanted a cleaning and said well let's discuss your file, I told him before we do can I just get a cleaning today as I didn't want to have unnecessary X-rays and he said no, so I told him I don't want it then he told him I'm also canceling my wife's appointment. I felt this place tells you one thing and will charge u over insurance later. I would avoid this office. read more

I called Gentle Dental for an emergency service and they took me in the very next day. My dentist was Dr Joe Capua, I was going to Aspen Dental who has done horrible work and made poorly fitting caps. Which is why I needed the work a cap broke and of course a cavity formed. I am very pleased with the office and the care and quality of Dr Capua and staff. The crown they made didn't for quite right so he ordered a new one. Thank you Dr Capua for helping me get my smile back. When eating becomes a challenge or your not happy with your current Dentist I can recommend them without hesitation. Thanks again!! read more

This is a good local dental clinic for the Attleboro area. I had my first cleaning in quite awhile today, and I was expecting it to be uncomfortable. Thankfully, the staff at Gentle Dental were courteous, professional, and the visit itself was pain-free. The hygienist did a decent job, although a bit too "efficient" in my opinion, as my teeth felt a little gritty on my drive home. Having been to other dentists in the pasts, this felt like a very very basic cleaning. Not a bad place overall, and for the price it's a good choice for someone who doesn't have a regular dentist and needs to get back into taking care of their dental health. read more

Gentle Dental is excellent! I hadn't been to the dentist in a number of years so I knew i needed to have some work done. I ended up needing 6 fillings, so as you could imagine I had to spend a lot of time in the dentist chair. Throughout the whole process the staff was very professional and courteous. Dr. Roberts was awesome! He's a really nice guy who is laid back, but still maintains the highest level of professionalism. There was a complication with one of my fillings (by no fault of Dr. Roberts), and he went out of his way to get me a prescription for a pain med late on a Saturday night. He called me the next day to make sure I was doing ok, and he also gave me his cell phone number just in case I needed to get in touch with him when the office wasn't open. The compassion that he and his staff showed me was nothing less than outstanding. read more

I went to Gentile Dental for a cleaning/consultation after avoiding the dentist for 2 years. They performed X-rays and told me I had 3 cavities that needed to be filled immediately. I had no pain and was wary of getting my teeth drilled with zero symptoms. When I tried to ask the doctor how this was possible he told me to make an appointment with the receptionist on the way out. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Rubinstein in Providence who performed a second set of X-rays which showed ZERO cavities. Fortunately I was skeptical and did not follow through with their suggestion. I do not remember the doctor's name, but I would urge anyone and everyone to be wary of this place and seek dental care elsewhere. read more

Well looks like it was my last go around with this place. I have had nothing but bad experiences there. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt but after today I'm done. I left with my gums all cut up and bloody and in pain from a cleaning...A ROUTINE CLEANING! the whole time she was scraping so hard into my gums it made me jump and all I could taste was blood and it obviously really hurt, and when I get in the car and take a look in the mirror my gums r still bleeding and all cut around my teeth... she left the dryer just chilling in my mouth a lot and she let the water took spray up into my face... not to mention the head dentist, idk his name nor do I care to because again I will not be returning to this awful awful practice, is incredibly rude and doesn't care. The receptionists are terrible, they look you up and down when you walk in and mumble the whole time you talk to them as if they're in high school still and just mess around with each other the whole time and play on their phones. I called with a wisdom tooth emergency one time and they said they wouldn't take me in and I have to make an appointment ahead of time and they wouldn't recommend a surgeon either (but they have an in house surgeon...so I'm just gonna guess she was either brand new or lazy)... I ended up having to go to the emergency room because it was so infected!! The first time I went the hygienist I got had no idea what she was doing and the same thing happened this time around with a different one apparently...so I don't know where they find these people... there was only one hygienist I ever liked and she made me stay but I don't know if she's even there anymore. In all my experience with this place has been a very unprofessional one, you should save your time and money on this one. Gentle Dental ruined my smile. read more

My mom who has Alzheimer's had to have oral surgery and we chose Gental Dental. It was unexpected and somewhat of an emergency. She gets very nervous when unexpected things happen or her routine is changed. She went to Gentle Dental and had her surgery on Tuesday afternoon. The surgeon, Dr. Reitzl, was phenomenal with her. When she got there he was in the middle of a team meeting and left the meeting to take her right away. She did not have to wait at all. That is huge for somebody with Alzheimer's because the more time she has to sit the longer she will stress and be worried. Her whole experience from the second she walked in the door until she walked out was fantastic. She was completely at ease and did not get upset at all. Even better she has had minimal discomfort. This was a huge relief as this could have been an incredibly difficult situation for her. They did not know her situation so this says to me this is how they care for their patients overall. I absolutely give Gentle Dental of Attleboro an A+ for their care and service. I highly recommend them read more

I recently went to Gentle Dental Attleboro after not being to the dentist for a long time. It is a very pleasant atmosphere. Everyone makes you feel at ease. I was so nervous to go back to the dentist but it turned out to be a very reasonable experience - considering I was at the dentist. Dr. Capua is excellent - very considerate - always asking if there you are OK. He is very professional. I have been to a dentist before and all he did was talk to his assistant the whole time while the TV was blaring. Yikes. The staff are all excellent as well. Best dentist ever. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistants, to the dentist, all are extremely nice and they actually care. They don't judge you, they try to do what they can to get you fixed up as good as possible. I went in on a Saturday for a consultation, knowing I was gonna need some work. I have a small fear of the dentist since I was a child. they made sure I was comfortable and ok, they told me what they were doing each step of the way. I was given a couple prescriptions and setup an appointment for 2 weeks later. By Wednesday I was in horrible pain. I left work at 2pm and called the dentist office. They shifted some things and had me in by 6pm. I have had a few teeth pulled in the past and the pain was horrible. This time was awesome, very little pain or discomfort.. The dentist and his assistant were amazing. Their name says it all, they are very gentle. I highly recommend this dental office, I saw Dr. Ziegler. read more
