Therapist did not adjust the end time. So my 1 hour massage was actually just 40 minutes. -It was hard to communicate with my therapist. It seems she knows no English at all. She parroted common phrases without understanding responses. During the massage, my attempts to communicate were useless. She just plowed through a rough and frantic massage. - She added a four dollar charge without telling me. When I questioned this she brought out a small sign about credit card processing charges. Why was this sign hidden? It should be displayed and brought up before the massage. -Lots of drama about wanting a bigger tip. Why was she so upset? Do these people not know that a bad massage means a low tip or no tip at all? - There was a car parked in front of the door RIGHT ON THE SIDEWALK. Is this legal? Who is the ignorant, entitled owner of this car? Methinks it belongs to the massage place's owner who doesn't know what a parking lot is.

They are not here to kiss your a** and give you mint water. The place is clean. The therapists are well versed in their scope and it's well worth the already discounted rates they offer! When I started moving in the room had been cleared of all the furnished things and there were stains on the carpet and realized I'd have to put an area rug over that. The floor was also uneven and squeaky in places. I also noticed the walls had scratches and holes in places, but most importantly the door to the room had no lock and it did NOT latch all the way when the door was closed. I brought these concerns to Cassondras attention and she said the door would get fixed if I brought in a locking doorknob so I did. Then she told me the one I gave her didn't fit and instead put a different locking knob on there. The new locking knob ALSO did not latch completely and that problem stayed a problem until I moved out early December 2, 2023. Throughout the year, Cassondra also changed the main door key code without letting me know which was an interference to my business and livelihood; I would also find my creams and lotion being used, (and then refilled with inferior product), and my massage equipment would be moved around or taken apart. One day I even found a used black latex glove in the middle of my room and when I asked her, Cassondra claims she was "cleaning" my room. Why? I rent the room so I clean it and when I clean I don't leave garbage behind. Then after I moved out, Cassondra has the audacity to try to charge me $50 for the stains in the rug that have been there for years, and tried to act like it was my fault. This is by far the WORST room rental I have ever seen in my life. The room is small and hot, the floors are stained, creaky and uneven. I did not appreciate the treatment I received while renting from Cassondra and after and I would NOT recommend renting from her.

I didn't leave as relaxed or de-knotted as I have from other massages, maybe because masseuse's pace seemed a little rushed? But it still felt good. There wasn't a conversation about what pressure I wanted or any focus areas, which was fine for me because I like the deeper pressure, but you may need to speak up yourself if you want something lighter. The hot stones were only used for a very brief time, but that seems to be my experience across a couple of places.
