[insert expletive]'ing SCARY experience for my 2 year old boy. Guy cutting his hair was older. Told him just a trim. I repeat -- "just a small trim" (like, not a normal haircut because he has curly hair and we don't like it too short). He started chipping his hair like crazy. But, not before repeatedly spraying water in my sons face and eyes, while flexing his big scissors in his face. My sons was literally flinching while the barber held him back. Scared him with everything. My son is 2! I asked the guy to take it easy. Then it got ugly. He KEPT GOING. Didn't stop cutting his hair, shorter and shorter. The told the guy to just STOP cutting his hair. HE KEPT GOING! I was kind of shocked looking around like, WTF is going on here -- I couldn't believe the guy?! Finally I asked him to just STOP! And he stopped. Look, again, a good or bad haircut - my son is healthy any doing ok. Hair grows back. It just seriously bothers me how the guys here handled such a young boy while completely disregarding his parent. I'll never in a million years ever go here again myself, certainly never again with my son, and I would like to warn others to please stay away. Recommending "Snips For Pips" (child haircuts in Ridgewood) or other, similar types of places for young children. [insert expletive] HORRIBLE!!!
