Ok - so my dad decided he'd talk the kid into it while they were out doing guy stuff. The kid suggested one of the chain places he usually goes, but my dad, a barber shop aficionado, saw the Hometown Barber Shop while they were at lunch across the street and suggested they check it out. He came home with what is probably the best haircut he's had in a decade. Hands down. He'd never take the time to write a review, but said the guys were friendly, talkative, and can cut hair like nobody's business. They even managed to get him to look like a normal person AND deal with the wicked colic he has at the crown of his head so that the hair at the top of it doesn't stick straight up.
