I had been getting my haircut here for almost two years since moving back to Buffalo, and now I'll need to find another barber shop. The haircuts range from decent-very good, depending on who you get. On google and on the prominently displayed signs out front, it is made clear that you must be seated 30 minutes prior to closing or you will be turned away. Fine. However, today I showed up over an hour before closing. I could see the people waiting on the couches and the barbers cutting hair. When I tried to go in I found the interior door locked. I knocked, and was told "we're closed". I asked if they no longer close at 4:00 (which their sign and google still indicate), and received no answer. I called when I got home, and was told that they still close at 4:00, but if they have too many customers to get through by 4:00 they lock the door early and turn everyone away. One of the barbers wanted to leave early, so that became my problem. Maybe you can call it still adjusting to civilian life/attitudes, but to me this is unacceptable customer service. I totally understand the "30 minutes before closing" policy, and that the barbers would like to go home on time. But for a place that does NOT take appointments to randomly close the doors well over an hour before closing and answer routine customers with a disinterested shout through the door is abhorrent. I'll happily pay a few extra dollars to go somewhere where, if I follow their policy, I leave with a haircut. I can't patronize a business where receiving service is dependent on how many employees want to leave early that day, or that feels adhering to their own policies might result in wasting their time, so they waste the customers time instead. Save yourself the time and go somewhere where if you show up on time, you get the services they offer. Or take the risk that you'll be turned away because they have better things to do than cut your hair, the literal only thing that they do. read more

Now I'm no business owner, so correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the name of the business reflect your company and not sounds like a strip club? Well unless you are strip club. That'd explain why the girls are already half naked, bedecked in flip-flops and short shorts. It's hot out. I'll give them that, but what's the excuse for chewing gum 6 inches above my mate's head, mouth open so that it may fall into his hair? She had him facing away from the mirror, supposedly to allow him to watch the TV and surprise him with his haircut but in actuality it was so that her phone could rest on the desk for intermittent texting. Now you could try to peg the blame on this one specific girl, though this the third and last time he's been here, with only one decent haircut (by a man who was MIA round three) Before, they put the cut in haircut and nicked his scalp, offering a discount on his next haircut. Sure it's affordable but at what cost? The potential to be the next Van Gogh with the amount of effort they put in. And no I'm not saying they give you magical artistic powers. Trust me, it would take a magician to get this supposed gentlemen club to actually be gentle. read more

This place started off great! The guys always did a great job and I enjoyed going. It was nice to support local business, especially because the owner supports vets/first responders. But now your lucky if you can get one of the guys, its mostly trashy women doing hair, they talk loud, gossip, cuss and act very unprofessional. I miss the good ole days when it was just the guys, a pool table and the big Pac-Man arcade game. read more

These folks are great. just get there early on the weekends.. they bust butt all day and if your late, Well you'll have to come back (note the bad reviews??) Sorry redasses when they close they close. They do great work!! read more

I decided to go here after reading reviews on Google. Rob was my barber for my first visit, and he cut my hair to my liking. The retro video game cabinet was a great way to pass the time while I waited. I would definitely advise visiting barber shop. read more

My family has been going there for a long time and then we went in at around 6 at night and they closed at 7 and there was probly like three people in line and the owner was so disrespectful and every time a customer walked in said these people have walked through three signs that said have to be seated 30 before we close. he said that multiple times as customers came In and he basicly told them to leave. after about 5 minutes we left because of how disrespectful he was. Started going there for a couple months. Seems like a nice place. I take my daughter and her three kid's there at twenty minutes to seven . there are a few people in front of us. The owner say's to us stick around if you want a half assed hair cut because when its seven o'clock we are out the door. Doesn't know how to treat customers. Total ass. Will not be back. read more

Don't ever come here!! My father in law is a regular and always gets a flat top hair cut. This time the owner, who cut his hair, was very rude and ignorant and shaved off all of his hair!!! This is not what he asked for so he told the barber and his answer was "oh well you should have asked for a flat top". My father in law did ask for a flat top. Him and his wife are not ones for confrontation so I'll leave their story here. This establishment has definitely lost a long time customer. read more

My husband was a first timer on my request . He is sporting a beard for the first time but had no idea how to manage it with short hair . They did a great job of blending and made him look great ! He now feels he can't do with out them ! I love that they are current and told him not to go as short on the hair as he was . Men get in a rut and need guidance in these things . Decent hair cut for $10, but owner is RUDE! He yells at customers, and even thought the posted hours state they close at 7pm, he starts telling everyone at 6pm that hes walking out the door at 7:00 even if he's in the middle of a cut (I doubt this, but again, very rude.) Also, don't show up between 9-10am... that's seniors hour and he will reprimand anyone under 65 for walking into the establishment. Additionally, the first time I had my hair cut, him and his friend were giving overly inappropriate detaiIs of their intimate relations with female friends, absolutely disgusting. I recommend going anywhere else, paying $15, and getting a better haircut and proper customer service. read more

Went here on a friend of a friends recommendation. After doing some research on the website I decided I wanted to do "The Works" cut with the foam lather and hot towel etc. I figured if you're going to get a cut somewhere you might as well spend a little extra and have the whole experience. First of all they don't let you schedule an appointment which I found odd and somewhat inconvenient. You sort of have to chance the availability when you go. Ah well, I can live with that. When I went for my cut it was pretty empty and I was seated immediately. I told the women cutting my hair what I wanted and she got started. She asked me a couple questions here and there, briskly trimmed my beard and we were done in like 15-20 minutes tops. No straight razors, no foam, no towel, my sides weren't squared off, she didn't put anything in my hair to try and style it afterwards, she barely cleaned me off and that was it. There was a guy already in a seat getting worked on when I walked in and he was still getting his cut when I left. I was really disappointed. The cut was fast and sloppy and I left feeling like I missed something. I feel like there wasn't a whole lot of attention paid to the details of my cut which sucks because, you know, that's why I went there. I'm not sure if the experience is different depending on who your barber is but the women I had left me disappointed. I will not be returning here again. read more

Cuts are hit or miss. Sometimes they are in a good mood and other days they will ignore customers and talk about the weekend. Get the guys if you can, the girl will ruin hair. The one time she left an obvious chunk of hair on the top. Fire her and this will turn into a 4/5 read more
