Saw Dr. Jim, who is there most of the time now, he's great- very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly. I usually see Rose or Saska as my dental hygienist and both do a great job. Good at their jobs and take interest in how I'm doing. From the dentists to the dental hygienists to Brian at the front desk, the staff is very friendly and nice. I feel confident my teeth are in good hands!

During my previous visits, the assistant who took care of me was not very kind and made me feel self-conscious about my dental issues. It almost felt as if she was looking down on me, which made the experience uncomfortable. However, that all changed during my last appointment. Instead of my usual assistant, I was greeted by a different dental assistant, Mrs. Rose. From the moment she walked in, she radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She was the sweetest person and made me feel comfortable, even though I had come in feeling down about my dental problems. She took the time to explain everything to me and offered reassurance that truly made a difference in my experience. I am so grateful for her kindness and the positive impact she had on my visit. I just saw the bill, they billed an emergency exam (this is done if you go in with a tooth ache) and did a scaling and root planing, wich is a type of perio surgery/procedure. It should have been a new patient exam. Possible a debriment since it had been 5 years and see how the patient responds. I was in the dental managment industry for over 25 years, and this kind of crap is why I left. Not to mention there was no fee/copay disclosure before starting treatment. I will be putting in a formal complaint with Delta Dental. I did call and was told they did everything correct.

I've always struggled with severe anxiety at the dentist and have bounced from office to office in search of the 'unicorn' dentist -- and I finally found him: Dr. Young. There's something about his calm, reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease. Even more impressive, the procedures are completely painless -- I didn't even feel the Novocaine injection. I recently had a root canal done, and it was genuinely pain-free. Dr. Young walks you through every step, takes the time to educate you, and whenever possible, offers multiple treatment options. I need to fill a missing tooth and always said I would never get an implant because the process seemed so painful and intense -- but now, I'm actually considering it, simply because I trust Dr. Young that much. I literally had to tell one to please hurry up because she was moving so slow. The desk staff is nice, but took a while to learn my name. They NEVER take you early, and usually run at least 5 minutes (I've sat there up to 15 at times) behind schedule. It's not a common occurrence, but it happens enough that I had to mention it. Office is clean and in good working order, overall a great experience. Typical dentist office hours, so plan to leave work a little early to make your appointment on time. Overall a decent experience.

I went into this appointment with an infection so far advanced that I was considering going to the ER for an IV of antibiotics because my body wasn't responding to the oral ones I was giving several days earlier & the progression of my infection was progressively worsening by the hour. I have had very few pleasant experiences with dentists over the years, however; I left my appointment feeling nothing less than satisfied with not only the quality of care I had just received, but also relieved I had finally found a dentistry that gives me a sense of comfort about putting my dental health in their hands. Every single one of the staff members was not only pleasant to work with but they went above and beyond to reassure me I was in good hands. This was by far the most pleasant experience I have ever experienced while visiting a dentist in my 30 years on Earth. I wish I remembered my dentists & his assistants name but it i unfortunately cannot at this time. If either of you are reading this, thank you for taking such great care of me in a time of worry, pain and just overall misery. The dentists will come in for emergencies on weekends, which is very helpful. However, at the end of a cleaning, they always bring in a "manager" for the hard sell. They tell you things that need to be done on your teeth (pointing out the critical issues), provide you a very large quote, offer you "free" financing and tell you they are available to do it right now if you wish. They have been offering to fix a "critical" issue on my one molar for the last 5 years. Be careful, not everything they say is critical really is, and always price compare! Their prices for the major items have been more expensive than with other dentists - pretty much every time we've had major work done. Plus, once you are in their system, they will begin an aggressive call campaign every six months to schedule your cleanings. They'll keep calling until they speak with a human, and they'll place a separate call for every member of your family. If you don't like unsolicited sales calls, you'll want to opt out of their "helpful" multiple call campaign. Hey, they're only looking for your dental health, right? They also offer Botox consultations after your cleaning as well. Interesting.
