Garry Gentry is so talented and such a wonderful person. I went in to get a player for my Yamaha Baby Grand and ended up buying an upright piano as well. He played songs for us on several pianos to show us the sounds. He was so knowledgeable and we could have stayed all afternoon listening to him play. Garry Gentry is both knowledgeable and resourceful in regards to anything concerning music. He helped me with a slightly broken tenor saxophone. Although the timing for sending it out for a repair coincided with the repair company being overwhelmed with fixing rental band instruments, Garry went out of his way to get my repaired horn back to me. I was especially impressed with his honesty and caring in regards to my problem. I will always highly recommend this company to any of my musician friends. I arrived to the store after 10 am on a weekend and according to the times, the store should have been opened. I waited for about 10 minutes in the parking lot for it to open before I gave up and went home. I'm not sure I would give this store a second chance. I spent several months playing different pianos, including Steinway. My friend recommended Gentry Music and Arts in St George, Utah. This store has a wonderful selection of pianos and the owners are extremely knowledgeable and have a passion and love of music and the arts. Garry Gentry is an accomplished musician and has an impressive knowledge of pianos. From him I learned about the hand crafted Mason & Hamlin pianos that are made in the USA. I had the pleasure of playing a Mason & Hamlin grand piano at Gentry Music and Arts. The action is effortless, the bass and treble are well balanced and the sound resonates so beautifully. So, I placed an order for a 5' 8.5" Mason & Hamlin grand piano. Throughout the production of my piano, Garry kept me informed on its progress. He would send me pictures of the piano at various stages and ultimately when it was packaged and shipped. My mouth dropped when I played it for the first time. The absolutely gorgeous sound that comes out of this 5' 8.5" piano is impressive. I have owned a 7' 4" Bosendorfer, which is a beautiful piano, but I prefer my Mason & Hamlin. My Mason & Hamlin is effortless to play...the touch is like butter. The sound is incredibly beautiful and rich, each note is clear, and the bass and treble are beautifully balanced. The sound resonates as long as you want it to. I am so thankful to Garry Gentry for introducing me to Mason & Hamlin and my ultimate purchase.
