Being an inexperienced buyer with little to no knowledge about coins, I had many questions for the staff. After almost forty-five minutes in the store, I decided to purchase two Silver Coins. The staff were extremely patient in wanting to ensure all my questions were answered. Had it not been for the amazing customer service and education I received, I most likely would've walked out. Where do I even start! I just went in today 10/7 to try to sell my 24k gold ring so I can buy a ring to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years. I walk up and hand my ring over and I assume to be the wife of the owner was very polite and read the inscription that said 24k then she tells the man owner what she's reading and he says it's only 22k and that "a lot of rings from Thailand mislabel them" so I interject that it is 24k to which he cuts me off and insists that his 10 thousand dollar machine cannot be wrong so I say I'll take the ring back and just leave to which he replies "yes give him his ring and get out!" The wife let's the ring continue through the machine with 2 different readings so she tries the second "10 thousand dollar machine" to which another girl I assume the daughter says that it is more reliable than the other one. to which it reliably read 24k, I explain it is not jewelry. It is investment gold formed into the shape of a ring. The wife asks if he would like the weight and he said "no just I don't want this sale just let him leave" she weighed it and saw it was 16 grams and seemed surprise cause it is a very rare ring to find. After he insists I leave multiple times(I'm just waiting for my ring back before I go) he asks what I even want for it. I reply "well I know it's worth..." to which he cuts me off and says "well what do you think it's worth" I continue and say "as I was saying I know it's worth $840 but..." to which he cuts me off again and says " yeah nobody is gonna give you that" so I continue that I understand and just want $650-$700 and he gaffs me off and tells me just to leave. He did this all in front of multiple people who met me outside as I was sitting on the bench out front and said they couldn't imagine why he was "being such an "a**hole to me" I could not believe this experience. All I wanted was to sell some gold(a rare piece of gold) to propose and this guy treated me like absolute crap all because I hurt his pride and he was proven wrong. I was respectful yet firm as he was telling me I was wrong and of course I would be as I was in a work uniform. I kept calm, thanked the wife for helping me then left the store as I assumed I was basically being trespassed from the property. Don't shop at this place please the man does not care about you and is too prideful to admit a mistake. read more

After investigating their website, my husband and I decided this is where we would trade our old gold coin for cash. We have never dealt in coins before, but did do a little research on gold price per ounce before going in. The owner introduced himself, sat down and looked at all of our coins, did some work on his computer that we could not see, looked through some magazines, and gave us a total price for everything. When we asked about itemized pricing for each coin (as they differed), he began to get upset and defensive. He told us we would have to pay for an appraisal on the coins if we wanted that much detail. The entire meeting went downhill from there. The agitation on his face, as well as his incredibly shaking hands when signing our check left us feeling very uncomfortable. We left the store feeling very inadequate, talked down to, and unsure that we got a fair price. The whole experience was much worse than buying a car! If he wants to do good business in the future, he needs to make his clients feel comfortable and secure with the business dealing, and certain they can trust him. Where to start. The young women (daughter of owener) hands down super awesome and the wife. Really nice people. I was driving through back to Vegas and wanted to trade some smaller portions of my gold and get 1/2,1oz bar coin ext. I show him everything I had and he only cared about cheap stuff he was only going to give me below melt to work out a deal. His attitude was very unprofessional and rude. I explained to him I know there are premiums on things and to work something out. I loaded my thing back in my box and I told him I don't want to do buisness with him. He walked away and I told him his daughter was a lot more professional than him and he kicked me and my son outta the store and he went back to his "office" if this store actually reads the reviews the mom and daughter 5 stars. Don't agree with the buying of silver under melt just because it's a 100 oz bar because supposedly hard to sell-Excuse me but isn't that your business-don't you have supply chains small sellers to big sellers etc? I'm sure you sell those over melt value-TO BE FAIR - same thing happened at all gold and silver stores I went to and he was the only one to speak to me as an individual in private and explain the particulars of the commodity business. And gave me the best PRICE. Seems if I came in with boxes of 1oz coins I would get full price. I wonder if they explain this to the purchaser when they do buy a 100oz bar. Maybe shouldn't say anything since I have many more bars and this could lower there value even more. Unlike some reviewers who delusionally think their gold ring is rare. I recently brought in some precious metals to sell and was treated fairly by both the owners wife and his son, then came back again with a larger amount of quality silver coins. This last time the owner came in suddenly and took over the transaction and completely low-balled me, offering me 25% of what the expected going rate was. He was rude, impatient and pissed off when I questioned why he suddenly changed his mind. He said that's just the way it is and walked away! I literally laughed in shock that he would act that way to a customer and I will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! When I called I was told they don't believe in wearing masks. I asked if they would wear them if a customer requested it. Nope, they won't. I later walked by the shop and they have a sign telling people to remove their masks before entering the store.
