The venue has an indoor area as well as a large outdoor patio to the E of the building. The place is camping themed. Similar to Camp Brewing in Langley, but without the campsite. As of the time of writing, there are 7-8 beers available, all named after local lakes. Beers are a wee bit pricy compared to Vancouver, but maybe this is the Squamish premium. Special mention goes to the Brohm Lake pineapple ginger saison as well as the Lava Lake rose sour. On Saturdays they also have music bingo. Listen to a song and cross (dab) off a song. Off sales are too rich for my blood. $5 for a can as of the time of writing. Yikes. Overall a decent place to check out if one is in the area.

Three times my family tried it and every time something was wrong-undercooked chicken, bland items or receiving the wrong order. We stopped going because the food was just too inconsistent. You can definitely spend many hours on their large farm and not get bored. There's a fun little self-guided tour that takes you throughout the farm to learn how the beer is made and all the extra little things they have, like a chicken coop! There's a ton of different areas to sit in and an orchard and greenhouse and berry farm, and even a bookstore. There is just so much to take in. They also have a food truck on site and other little snacks available. Even some local ice cream :) And of course, there's a large beer selection, but also a lot of cider options. We really enjoyed the few that we tried in our tasting flight and got a lot of beer to take home. Turns out they also have a flat discount if you buy enough beer, which the staff were kind enough to inform us about. We definitely had a great time!

Right in Gibsons, you will see the sign off the main road, and when you turn in it feels like a relaxing retreat of being back in nature, and being able to grab some beverage's of the adult variety. I didn't want to go all in on one cider, so I went with a flight with the help of the lady there. While sitting in their area, the space has other vendors, on the day we were there they weren't open, but you can get some food. There are a number of tables, a see through dome for those rainy days, and even a children's play area if you are also bringing in the young. Their ciders are a nice, refreshing taste, not overpowering in taste, and some grow on you after the first initial taste. It is something were a few were originally a little too light.. then after a few more sips you really want to buy some for the journey home to your own fridge. Two other things of note when you are here, and you can't try, but you have to trust it, they make their own small can sodas, from apple, to hibiscus to peach, and they don't sell these anywhere else, I took a gamble.. and now I have to say I can't wait to go back and buy some more, they also have their own apple juice they sell also.... that's also on the 'take my money' list. Backcountry is my favorite brewer in BC so it was nice to stop post travel for an IPA flight which was delicious and some crispy French fries ! Service was fantastic, loved the outside patio and ambience and grabbed some beers and merchandise to go! Always a great experience!
